Queen of Villains - Chapter 140

<Episode 140: Side Story (4)>

"Killian is injured. I think you should go there quickly, Madam."

"You came in a hurry," Roxy said, panting.

"What? Where did you go? How badly did he get hurt?"

A startled Emily fired off a barrage of questions.

Luckily, Roxy was the most attentive of the three, so she was able to control the level of shock so that Emily wouldn't faint.

“Don’t worry too much, Payne is there too. He’s resting comfortably in bed.”

Payne, who was entering the main gate of the Duke's house at that moment, was knocked unconscious by Chili's strike to the back of his neck and locked in an empty room.

“Get the carriage ready. I have to go quickly.”

Emily spoke to Marlene, who was standing next to her with a dumbfounded expression.

"Roxy will show you to your room. I'll go and get back to you right away."

"Oh my, don't worry about me and come back quickly. But be careful on the rainy road. What on earth is going on?"

Marlene pushed Emily's back, repeatedly warning her to be careful and telling her to hurry up and go.

Emily, who had not even had time to change into her going-out clothes, jumped into the carriage without thinking and placed her hand on her heart, hoping that nothing would happen.

Because the road construction was not yet complete, carriages could only enter as far as the entrance to Lake Yvette.

“It’s okay, just get off here.”

Anyway, the villa Killian had built was right in front of her. Ivan stopped the carriage and retrieved the black umbrella he'd left under the coachman's seat.

“Madam, please wait a moment. I’ll put an umbrella over you... Huh?”

Emily was already running forward in the rain.

“Chili told me not to even think about going near the villa... so should I just wait here?”

Fortunately, there were several temporary rest areas and lodging facilities nearby for the workers to stay in after the road construction began.

Since the Velvet Seal allowed him to go anywhere freely, Ivan drove his carriage to a nearby lodging.

Meanwhile, the sun had set, and it was raining heavily outside, so Killian was thinking of sleeping well at the villa today.

After a quick shower, he headed to the bedroom when he heard Emily's voice outside.

At first, he thought he was hallucinating because he missed her so much, but the voice gradually became clearer.

Even though he didn't think Emily would be here at this hour, he walked out the front door in a hurry just in case.

Yes then.

“Emily, how is it here...”

It wasn't an auditory hallucination.

Killian, surprised to see Emily completely soaked in the rain, hurriedly brought her inside.

“I thought you were hurt, but are you okay?”

As Emily's clear, sky-blue eyes filled with tears of worry and relief, Killian's gaze darkened. He seemed to be forcing himself to suppress his emotions.

“It looks like someone is playing a prank.”

And an awkward atmosphere flowed between the two of them, as if they somehow knew why someone had done it.

Emily's thin housecoat, soaked through by the rain, revealed her slender figure. Killian, trying to avoid drawing attention to the exposed silhouette of her body, headed to the room first.

“Follow me. You’ll catch a cold.”

Just in case, he opened the suitcase Chili and Roxy had brought, and found not only Killian's but also Emily's pajamas neatly packed inside. Killian sighed softly as the situation became more certain.

Emily, who had been handed pajamas along with a towel, also noticed the maids' scheme, and her cheeks turned red.

She wiped her wet body and quickly changed into her pajamas while Killian looked back.

'What's this?'

But the pajamas were quite different from what she usually wore. Emily was deeply embarrassed by the somewhat provocative appearance, to the point where she might have preferred the wet pajamas she'd worn earlier.

“By any chance, pajamas... did you buy them for me?”

“Chili and Roxy left them behind. Are they uncomfortable to wear?”

Because he had only confirmed that it was pajamas and handed them over, Killian seemed to have no idea what these clothes were.

"No."

'Hmm...'

Although the maids' behavior was a bit cheeky, since they had already prepared it for her, Emily planned to take advantage of the opportunity.

Emily summoned her courage and called him.

“I’m all dressed up.”

Killian, who had turned his head without a second's thought, suddenly shook his eyes. But that was only for a moment. He soon regained his composure and spoke in a firm tone.

“Please go to bed.”

He began to light the fireplace, keeping his expression as impassive as possible.

Emily's appearance was breathtakingly beautiful, but if she kept looking at her, her heart would start pounding like crazy, and she felt like she wouldn't be able to hold it in.

But Emily, who didn't know Killian's true feelings, was still frustrated with her indifferent husband.

Finally, Emily approached Killian and took his hand. His throat twitched violently as he gasped in nervousness at Emily's sudden action.

“Let’s go to bed together.”

She doesn't know what led her to lead Killian to bed. Despite her embarrassment, Emily tried to unbutton the shirt he was wearing.

The problem, however, was that Emily was so nervous that she couldn't unbutton his clothes properly, despite starting out so excitedly.

Finally, Killian, unable to stand it any longer, grabbed Emily's hand.

“Emily.”

Emily swallowed hard and opened her mouth at the muffled, breathy voice.

“I said I was ready. I’ve been ready for a long time.”

The sound of the rain pouring down and the crackling of firewood seemed to lead the two of them to another space, as if they were the only two people in the world.

Without taking his eyes off her, Killian slowly unbuttoned his own shirt.

Emily flinched involuntarily under his earnest gaze. The delicately sculpted muscles seemed unreal, like a statue in a temple.

Killian's head, which had been meeting her gaze, slowly lowered. Their lips, which had briefly touched and then parted, came closer again.

The kiss, which had begun cautiously, grew more intense. His large hands wrapped around Emily's neck and waist, pulling her closer to him.

Feeling the strange warmth of his touch, Emily hugged Killian's back and pressed her body closer. She could feel her pulse racing.

"I don't think I can act like a gentleman. I apologize in advance."

“Don’t apologize. It’s better that way.”

As if on cue, Emily's lips were once again swallowed by his with a fiery heat.

Killian's large body pressed heavily against Emily's. Under his touch, Emily realized that everything that made up Killian's body was vastly larger than her own.

But now it's too late to say it's scary.

Every time he touched her gently, her tense body relaxed, and she trembled slightly with anticipation.

Contrary to his apology, Killian never rushed. He slowly tied Emily up, ensuring she wouldn't run away in surprise.

Emily closed her eyes tightly, trembling helplessly at the intense yet ecstatic sensation she was experiencing for the first time.

The next morning, Emily woke up with a dull, aching pain in her lower abdomen. Killian, who was up first, asked her affectionately.

“Are you awake?”

The sheets, soaked with sweat, had been replaced with fluffy bedding, and Emily was buried under the blanket, her body clean.

“Clothes... ahem!”

When Emily coughed dryly, her voice hoarse, Killian immediately brought her some water.

"Thank you."

When she came to, memories of last night came flooding back, and she couldn't look Killian in the eye.

'I was braver than I thought.'

“Where are my clothes?”

“I threw away the pajamas because I thought it would be difficult to wear them again.”

Killian's face turned red all the way to his ears as he said that.

“The clothes you wore should be dry by now.”

Killian got out of bed and checked the clothes he had hung on the chair in front of the fireplace.

An inverted triangle body with broad shoulders and thick latissimus dorsi, and buttocks that are just right underneath.

Emily, who was admiring her husband's body, muttered, "That man is my husband!" and exclaimed in admiration again.

“I think I can wear this.”

Killian, who had changed his clothes first, also handed Emily some clothes.

“Is it okay to walk?”

Killian asked cautiously, watching Emily wake up and then collapse back onto the bed.

“Yes, it’s okay.”

Emily firmly dissuaded Killian from carrying her to the carriage. She didn't want Ivan to know what they'd done the night before.
