THYU - Chapter 79

Of course, Anjali also understood that Violet's position was awkward. But the company's interests were much more important to her.

Winter continued his persuasion.

"Are the Heston family not some kind of bastards, who would go to such lengths to stand up for not giving them a villa?"

"Yes. Lift up and stand up. You already have a bad relationship with the Heston family."

"That is that and this is this. There's no way nobles could be that childish."

"This isn't childish. it's a matter of pride. Nobles are people who don't want to give in to their pride and are willing to go to war."

"They have no pride."

Anjali squirmed at Winter's words and spoke with a rare, fierce expression.

"There is. You can't see it because the CEO is stepping on it."

"I'm sorry if that happened. So please help me solve it."

"No matter how much you try, you can't solve this, CEO."

Winter even said sorry, but Anjali was adamant. From the looks of it, it seemed like a really difficult problem to solve.

After coming to the capital, he stayed in the headquarters for three days and was in a meeting, but there was no answer. Since everyone in the company was against it, Winter could not continue to insist, no matter how much he was the CHO. In the end, he decided to call them in one by one and begin appeasement.

The evidence supporting all opposing opinions came from Anjali. So, the intention was to appease Anjali, but she was not easily appeased after she became stronger again by resting in a hotel for a month and reading books.

Winter asked.

"Is it possible to avoid remarriage if I am opposed to it?"

"No, realistically. Even If your wife's opinion is different, the conversation will have already ended within the family. They will hold a knife to her throat and take her to the ceremony. There is no separate group of criminals. Are you saying that you are ultimately going to abandon the entire Northern Market to prevent her from remarrying?"

"It's my company."

"Yes. You also decided on the airship business on your own. So it won't work this time. There is a huge amount of money that needs to be spent there, so what are you going to do if you throw away the northern market as well?"

Winter covered his face with both hands. He thought all he had to do was disappear from Violet's life, but that wasn't all.

However, even if he cannot overcome this situation now, the story will definitely be different if his entire inheritance becomes Violet's. He learned that having a lot of money solves the problem. He's sure she can solve it.

Thinking like that, Winter responded with some resignation.

"I will take care of it."

Anjali, who heard his words as a means of pushing back against her, widened her eyes.

"Aren't you in the mood to take care of it now?"

Anjali shouted and stopped without realizing it. She didn't think it was strange that Winter's hand flew away, but his steps turned toward the door.

Then the door swung open. Violet, who was standing in front of him, asked with wide eyes.

"How on earth do you know?"

"I do not know either at all."

Winter actually looked like he didn't understand her.

Violet took a step inside and smiled when she saw Anjali.

"I heard you went on vacation. Did you have a good time?"

"Yes. I had a nice vacation."

Anjali looked a little embarrassed by Violet, who seemed strangely comfortable with her. Moreover, as soon as Violet greeted her, she saw Winter's expression crumpled to the point of giving her chills. However, since she had the fortune of the company on her back, she did not miss this opportunity and spoke quickly.

"Rather than that, If you give up on the northern market like you are trying to do, it will really be...."

The moment she spoke, Winter tried to cover her mouth, but at the same time, Violet narrowed her eyes and looked at her husband. When Winter felt those eyes and lowered his hand, frowning at her, Anjali, who had closed her eyes tightly in fear, spoke again.

"It's really a huge loss. Moreover, since we have started a new business, the northern region is a market we can never give up."

When Anjali overcame Winter's threats and spoke to the end, he glared at her as if he were going to kill her.

Violet nodded slightly as if she understood.

"I understand."

"Thank you. I'll go out and see."

Anjali bowed politely and left the place. Then Winter started messing with her hair.
This is why people shouldn't rest.

"After resting, she gained the strength to fight back like that."

"Winter, I guess I was wrong. Sorry."

"What?"

"This was an offer I couldn't refuse anyway. It's really selfish of me to ask you to put the company in danger just because of me. Proceed as scheduled."

"I can't do that."

"Since this is my remarriage, I will try to resolve it in my own power. I thought about the three days you didn't come in without contacting me..."

"Wait for a second. You're not angry, are you? I didn't come in to solve your problem."

"I'm not angry. Unlike other people, you are the type of person who thinks it's okay to not contact home for about three days. I understand."

Winter was relieved by Violet's words, but fortunately, belatedly, he felt there was a bone in her words and frowned.

Violet seemed to be becoming more and more like Winter, but she became more and more sarcastic, but unlike Winter, she didn't show it in her facial expressions, so he asked, 'Are you being sarcastic?'

It made Winter think.

Winter, who had his hands in his pockets, spoke as if making an excuse.

"Hayel said I would be late."

"Yes. Hayel came home once and said you would be late."

"But why is that? So you're telling me to report that I can't go home every day?"

Rather than feeling guilty, Winter rebuked Violet. She sighed heavily as if she had given up.

"I'm fine. But do it next time you remarry. Of course, going home every day is also a good idea."

At Violet's words, Winter looked like he was wondering how she could say such nonsense. He frowned and spoke.

"Anyway, how are you going to solve it?"

"First of all, I don't have much time. I plan to stay away for a while."

"Are you going to run away?"

"Escape... Yes, run away."

"I will find you soon."

When Winter spoke as if he was talking to himself, Violet responded in a puzzled voice.

"Why are you looking for me? I'm not running away from you, so I'm planning on telling you?"

"Ah..."

Winter, who was heartbroken for a moment, was relieved and nodded.

"Right."

"If I get alimony, I'll be able to run away further."

Winter nodded silently. Then he picked up the tie he had thrown away and said.

"I'm looking into where you can run away. I don't want even a penny of my wealth to go to Ash Lawrence."

"Well, you know better. Thank you."

"This time it will be a very luxurious escape."

Winter spoke immediately.

"Okay, then I guess we should go on a date right now."

"Suddenly?"

"You said he would be leaving soon. We should do it before then. We were supposed to date enough before we divorced, but we didn't do much because we fought so often."

When he grunted, Violet covered her mouth with her hand, smiled brightly, and asked in a friendly voice.

"Then, shall we take a look at our garden?"

"Oh, I guess so."

Winter's mouth twitched at the words 'our garden'. It was a smile so big that Anjali, whom he had grabbed as if he were going to kill her, would have left the company out of embarrassment.

Violet nodded and continued speaking.

"Yes. I took a walk whenever I had free time because of how big it was, but there were still so many places. You do everything with sincerity."

"It's kind of like that."

Violet answered calmly and immediately laughed as if it was a joke. As soon as Winter met his wife, he felt all the caution and anger in his heart melt away.

"Do you have a favorite tree? Let's have a picnic. Flowers are nice too."

"I have. Thanks for asking. I'll tell you when I get to the garden, which tree it is."

"I'm looking forward to it."

As they began to understand each other little by little, they had more things to talk about. An employee who saw the two people talking and heading to the carriage stopped Hayel as he came out of the telegraph room to tell him to prepare a picnic in the garden and asked.

"Secretary, aren't the two in the adjustment period?"

"Oh, that's right."

"CEO. He seems like a completely different person? It feels like a screw is loose, he keeps smiling, scary..."

"Yeah..."

Hayel seemed to have burst out of the anxiety he had been holding in, and as if everything went well, he grabbed the employee and started pouring out what was in his heart.

"Because it's true that he becomes like other people! Of course, I am in favor of divorce for both of them. I totally agree. How can you live with a bunch of idiots like that, right? Why would someone as good as our Little Lady take on such a burden? By the way, it is a well-established belief that when the Little Lady lady leaves, that car unit will be upgraded! So! I have prepared my resignation letter so that I can quit immediately if the two get divorced!"

"What, secretary?"

Hayel bowed, pouring out all that was inside him as if he had been waiting for someone to ask him.

"Excuse me."

Then he turned around feeling relieved.

As they boarded the carriage and headed to the mansion, Violet's eyes fell on Winter's tie. In the past, it would have felt natural to be so formal, but now her first thought was that Winter would be uncomfortable.

Violet unconsciously reached out and pulled his tie loose. Then Winter narrowed his eyes and asked.

"What don't you like?"

Then Violet wordlessly lifted his shirt collar and pulled up his tie. Winter took it off and asked again.

"Why are there separate ties for picnics?"

"No, because it looks uncomfortable."

She answered and turned to face the front again. Then Winter, looking shocked, asked again.

"No, for a picnic?"

“Nо.”

"What else can I say?"

Winter replied as if he understood now, resting his elbow on the door and resting his head on his hand.

After a moment of silence between the two, Violet opened her mouth.

"You think I'm someone who finds fault."

"Then isn't it?"

"If you weren't so perverse all the time, I wouldn't have anything to complain about."

"It doesn't mean I'm particularly dissatisfied."

"No?"

"I don't really like it."

He answered as if muttering.

Surprised by the unexpected answer, Violet looked back at Winter who was looking out the window, then looked forward again and said.

"Me too... It's not just that I don't like you being crooked. I've gotten used to it now, and sometimes it looks good."

"Surprising."

Violet somehow felt like she knew how Winter felt just looking out the window, so she turned her head out the window as well.

Strangely, she felt a little embarrassed making eye contact.

The carriage entered the mansion and stopped in front of the garden. At the place where the carriage stopped, there was another carriage parked in front. It was a white carriage with a white horse and a sofa decorated with red roses, like something out of a fairy tale.

"How did you get a carriage like this?"

When Violet asked in confusion, Winter answered.

"The kid next door said the Princess must ride in a carriage pulled by a white horse."

"You're accepting the opinion of a six-year-old. You don't even listen to the vice president."

"A six-year-old who is smarter than most adults. There are a lot of employees in the company who are just as bad as her."

Winter got on the carriage first, with the top open, and bent down to offer Violet her hand. Violet smiled, took his hand, climbed into the carriage, and sat down. Then Winter sat down beside her and motioned to the coachman to start.

The carriage began to move leisurely down the not-so-wide road. It was an ecstatic spring. Violet was completely absorbed in the garden, reaching out her hand to catch the slowly falling petals. However, the flower petals, which were difficult to hold even when standing still, easily escaped her hand on the shaking carriage. She muttered.

"It's really nice weather for a picnic."

"It is."

Winter responded in a tone that at first glance could be considered half-hearted, leaning back and crossing his legs on the chair across from him. To be honest, even if it rained, Winter felt like the weather wouldn't matter as long as he had a picnic with Violet.
