I had an important goal of changing Dominic's mind within three days, so I thought I would be a little nervous throughout the trip.

"Wow, Mr. Dominic. Look at that. There's a pretty store over there."

I enjoyed the trip itself from the beginning, ignoring all my worries.

"There are so many cute things."

"Oh my God, look at that. Is that by any chance a watch?"

With my eyes shining, I looked at the props displayed throughout the store.

When I chattered, Dominic would occasionally respond from my side.

At some point, it occurred to me that Dominic was quiet.

I turned my head and came face to face with him.
