TMTNO - Chapter 31

There are four male protagonists in this novel.

Crown Prince, Prime Minister, Knight Commander, and Lord of the Tower.

The existence of the current Crown Prince has been lost, and the female protagonist does not appear in the original story. There was also no spin-off called "What If."

I returned the book to its original state without even having time to sort out my doubts.

Dietrich and Yuno have fought each other quite a few times, but unless it's something related to the heroine, they usually just fight each other for a while.

The two people, who had not deviated from the prediction and had stopped fighting, soon appeared in the study.

My heart raced as I secretly searched through Yuno's drawer.

"Oh, author. Why is your heart beating so fast? What surprised you?"

The human lie detector asks me.

“In the middle, I was a little scared because it seemed like you two were arguing so fiercely.”

“I think Lily was very surprised.”

Yuno approached me and hugged me tightly, still sitting there. Thanks to him, my shaking pupils were obscured.

“I heard a gasping sound coming from the crystal ball earlier.”

"...huh?"

"This is a crystal ball. I can hear the sounds coming from it."

For a moment, a chill ran down my spine. I ran through my mind what I'd said.

Yeah, fortunately, I don't think I was talking to myself.

“You didn’t hear any sound from over there? You said you couldn’t hear anything.”

"I usually only use the crystal ball when I'm observing the situation at the Magic Tower and giving orders. No one complains about my orders."

“It’s quite one-sided, Magic Tower Master.”

“Isn’t that the case with the Knights Templar?”

“...No, the Knights are like that too.”

Wow, if I were talking nonsense, Yuno would have heard everything, right? Even if I were to get caught, I don't want it to happen so quickly.

I was fooled by his angelic face and forgot that he was no pushover.

“By the way, don’t you two need to treat your wounds?”

When I asked, hiding the turmoil in my heart, the two shook their heads.

“It will get better if you just leave it alone.”

"Still."

"Lily, that man has a lot of magical power in his body, which accelerates his metabolism. So don't worry, his wounds will heal quickly."

Yuno hugged me tightly again.

“By the way, I wasted my time because of you.”

“Who has been here for a long time?”

...Yuno, are you really timid?

Well, no one who says they're timid is truly timid. I never called you timid in the first place.

"I'll make you spend your day the way I want."

“You know that’s incredibly illogical, right?”

“Huh, it’s clear you’ve wasted my time.”

“Yes, let’s have a proper competition this time to see who will be with Lily.”

I desperately missed the jewels in my room. Oh, when will I ever be free?

I secretly wish those guys would go back to fight again. Maybe I'll be able to see the notebook again.

I was looking forward to it with a pounding heart, but the sound I heard told me that reality was not so easy.

“Then the three of us will be together for the rest of the time.”

“Well... I feel like I’m at a disadvantage, but let’s do it.”

Oh, these two are a good match.

I tilted my head as golden eyes stared intently at me. Yuno's expression seemed a little different than usual.

“Lily.”

"Yes?"

“You’re not thinking of leaving us, are you?”

What the heck, at this time.

“Yeah, no.”

I gave a confusing answer on purpose, but luckily, no more questions came up.

"But really, I can't go outside? I'm not even a prisoner, so how long do I have to stay here? If I knew this was going to happen, I should've just stayed in Detroit."

“Really? Then go right now.”

Dietrich, who looked so excited—at least by my standards—shrugged his shoulders as if to say, "Let's go right now." But my guardian, Yuno, frowned.

"We agreed to respect the author's opinion, didn't we? That's why we came to the Magic Tower. Now that she wants to return to Beluga Mansion, let's do so."

Dietrich's blue eyes were dancing on his cool face.

“I won’t block your entrance either.”

When the Knight Commander spoke leniently, Yuno's face turned red as if it were going to explode.

"Lily, let's go to our island. You like magic, right? Let's go by teleportation."

“Oh, really?”

“Of course. I can show you any magic you want.”

The carnivore wizard, disguised as a herbivore, clung to me, his claws clinging to me.

His gaze was fixed on the Sword Master, who was a head taller and twice his size.

“Well, if you want, I can take you there too.”

“Ugh.”

“Aren’t you going?”

“Oh, I’m going!”

The two of them play well together.

A smile spread across my lips.

***

Going to Duke Beluga's residence was a threat to Yuno, and Yuno, who understood this well, allowed me half of my freedom.

Of course, only with companions.

However, since Dietrich and Yuno were together, the difficulty did not double, but quadruple, so I said that I would go out whenever I had the chance.

Why do you two keep rubbing important parts at me...!

“Oh no! Stop it! Aaah!”

Since there are two, there is competition.

Dietrich hugged me from behind, and Yuno hugged me from the front, then we played "Who can rub me more?" Or we'd lie on the bed, the three of us going back and forth.

At first, I decided to endure it because it was a grave I dug myself, but as time went on, it became even more unsightly.

"But, author, you know this too, don't you? Only you can solve this. So come and see."

“Lily, look at mine too. It’ll be even better if you touch it.”

“If you want to show it like that, then you can show it to each other.”

Only after I fired did the two become quiet.

After hearing what I said, the two men looked at each other and tried to come to an agreement.

“How about we each spend two days together from now on?”

“That would be much better. I could concentrate better that way.”

...So, it means that neither of them has even the slightest intention of giving up their own desires.

“Hey, there are days when I want to be alone?”

As I raised my hand and intervened, both people looked at me at the same time.

But soon the conversation continued as if they hadn't heard anything.

“How do I get to the island I see over there?”

“There’s a magical boat down there. You can use it to travel back and forth between the tower and the island.”

“Oh, I see.”

“Since Lily’s residence is in the tower, don’t forget to come back when you’re done.”

“I know.”

...So, you’re saying my will won’t be reflected?

“Ugh...”

I realized anew that not just anyone can be a female protagonist.

At least I don't think I'm cut out for being a heroine.

Given the circumstances, I was counting the days until a third party appeared.

“Shish!”

“Hello, master.”

“I missed you!”

When I ran over and hugged him, Shish's eyes widened in surprise. But that was only for a moment, as he narrowed his eyes and smiled.

"Me too."

I never thought the day would come when I would think of this man as a normal person.

Dietrich, who had been looking at Shish with disapproving eyes as he suddenly embraced me, strode over to me. He grabbed my waist and tried to pull me into his embrace.

Before that, I hugged Shish's neck tightly.

"Author."

“No, I will never fall.”

I shook my head and hugged Shish tighter. A strange feeling came over me, and I warned Yuno.

“Yuno, don’t use magic!”

“Tch.”

“It’s nice that the master welcomes me, but what did they do to deserve this reaction?”

Shish muttered, his expression half displeased, half trembling. He then gently pressed my head with one hand and brought our lips together.

It was so tantalizing because I was slurping like a chick. I bit my soft lips without realizing it, and as if I had been waiting for it, the other person took my breath away.

"hlhmm."

A silver thread hung from the mouth that fell at the right time, and I stared blankly as the red tongue licked it.

I'm thirsty.

"Author."

"Huh?"

Dietrich grabbed my chin as if he couldn't lose. I thought he was going to do it, but Shish was faster.

It's not that Shish is physically better than Dietrich, but he probably anticipated what Dietrich would do and avoided it.

“This kid!”

Dietrich gritted his teeth and rushed forward, but couldn't reach me. Yuno quickly intervened.

“Me too! Me too!”

The cute little tower boy shouted hard, but he was so small compared to Shish and Dietrich that he couldn't reach me.

Shish didn't give me up easily either.

I buried my nose in Shish's neck, secretly relieved. The sweet, warm scent I'd smelled before eased my tension.

A soft hand stroked my back.

“Let’s go out. Let’s go out...”

“You haven’t been out for three days. You’re going out again?”

"That's right. We've been around all the islands around here. Where do you want to go now? How about spending some time in the bedroom today?"

A bedroom.

I feel like I'm going to be traumatized just hearing it.

“Master, what do you want to do?”

Shish, who was holding me in his arms and taking the initiative, asked in a gentle tone. I hugged him like a lifeline.

“I want to go out. I want to go out. I want to get some fresh air.”

“Lily.”

“If you’re not going out, I’ll just stay with Shish today.”

I don't want to be with those lower-body monsters.

You crazy bastards, don't you remember how many times I had to change my bed sheets during the night because of you?

"Let's go."

"I'm going."

Dietrich and Juno answered simultaneously, and Shish chuckled softly. He picked me up, wrapping me in his cocoon.

Ugh, I feel like I've lost all the energy that I didn't have...
