Linel looked at Sharon, who was running down the hallway in a panic.
“Sharon. Is it true that Zelda was in the middle of a treatment?”
Sharon was speechless at his sharp blue gaze.
“...Your Majesty.”
If she lied any longer, she felt like her throat would be cut off.
“She might not be inside.”
“No... The door is locked?”
Linel’s expression grew more serious.
“Yes, Your Majesty! Come to think of it... I think you two were talking about going for a walk along the corridor together after the treatment!”
“So you locked the door and went out for a walk?”
Sharon hesitated, unable to tell if it was a conversation or a question, but she quickly collected herself.
“Ah, the Lord of the Magic Tower always locks his room when he’s out...!”
“Sharon. Is it true that Zelda was in the middle of a treatment?”
Sharon was speechless at his sharp blue gaze.
“...Your Majesty.”
If she lied any longer, she felt like her throat would be cut off.

Sharon hesitated, unable to tell if it was a conversation or a question, but she quickly collected herself.
“Ah, the Lord of the Magic Tower always locks his room when he’s out...!”
Just as Sharon was pulling the key to the Lord of the Magic Tower’s room from her pocket and continuing her explanation, there was a loud, almost deafening crash.
Linel slammed his fist into the door.
The thick wooden door was dented in the shape of a fist.
“Your Majesty! W-Wouldn’t you be trying to open the door with your fist...”
Of course. He’d open it.
Raphael quickly stopped him.
Indeed, he really meant to.
Raphael knew exactly when the Emperor’s eyes would turn.
When they did, incredible strength would be unleashed.
This was precisely the situation.
“Your Majesty! I’ll have the servant bring me a spare key right now...!”
“You’re late.”
He cut Raphael off and slammed his fist into the door again.
Two, three times—with a crack, the thick zelkova door buckled open in the middle.
Linel reached inside, unlocked the door, and entered the room.
Raphael and Sharon followed him, both tense.
“There really isn’t anything.”
Linel’s brow furrowed nervously.
Sharon’s heart raced.
Before Zelda used teleportation to disappear into the Valley of Death, she had given her a solemn warning.
"Sharon, if His Majesty catches you, don't ever mention the Valley of Death. I'll go and tell him myself."
She made this decision knowing that if he found out before she returned, he'd be a man ready to head straight for the Valley of Death.
"As Sharon said, the Lord of the Magic Tower might be locking the door because of the potion, but it's also possible the door locked itself from the inside. Sometimes, old doorknobs lock from the inside."
After confirming that no one was in the room, Raphael secretly breathed a sigh of relief and spoke casually.
"..."
But Linel's expression remained unchanged.
He walked to the table, sat down, and looked around the room.
"Your Majesty! Your hand is bleeding..."
Sharon, who had been looking down, noticed the Emperor's bleeding hand and said with concern,
"I'll get the royal doctor!"
There was quite a bit of blood flowing.
It would have been strange if his hands were still intact, considering he'd breached that thick wooden door with only a few punches.
As Raphael raised his voice and turned to leave,
"Yes, don't make a fuss and just get out."
He glanced down at the blood dripping onto the floor and said casually,
"Well, just stop the bleeding for now."
"I'll do it, you two, you go out. I need some time alone."
Raphael and Sharon couldn't say anything more to him and just walked out the door.
Fortunately, even with the door closed, a large fist-shaped opening remained in the middle, allowing them to observe the Emperor from outside.
As they left, he sighed deeply and agonized.
"Something feels off..."
While Sharon might have indeed gone for a walk together, his intuition told him it wasn't a simple outing.
If she had come to the main palace, she would have come to him first.
Even before she went out for a walk with Bellos, or even if he was in a meeting, she would have spoken to Raphael or Stiane before leaving.
"That bastard, Magic Tower Master, where on earth did you take Zelda..."
As Magic Tower Master said, the teleportation technique was performed, and a feeling of vertigo appeared.
However, it was only for a brief moment, and the vertigo quickly disappeared when Bellos's voice told me to open my eyes.
"Where am I?"
Everything was dark.
I could hear the sound of waves crashing somewhere.
“It’s one of the caves in Death Valley. Soon, the wyverns will sense something strange and gather here.”
At Bellos’s words, Moiya and Moni flew around the cave, exclaiming, “Ah, here!”
The cave was quite large.
I walked to the cave entrance where the light was coming in and tried to look outside, but I almost fell straight into the sea.
“Be careful! This cave is in the middle of the canyon, so the sea is right below.”
Magic Tower Lord said, grabbing my arms from behind.
Just then, a strange sound came from around the canyon.
“Belos, is that... the sound of the wyverns?”
At first glance, it sounded similar to the cry of the monstrous Galaco.
“That’s right. Now, let’s prepare to welcome them.”
Magic Tower Lord escorted me back to the center of the cave.
“Ow? That’s the cave we came to last time, right, Moiya~?”
“Ah! That’s right. You got hit in the eye here, didn’t you, Moni~?”
The two babies circled the cave, chatting as if reminiscing.
“Today, I’m going to show those little brats a lesson!”
Moiya vowed, clenching his cute fists.
A glance into his eyes revealed that Moiya’s combat power had already reached its maximum.
“Don’t cause trouble and just be quiet,”
Magic Tower Lord remonstrated, and Moiya, already agitated, immediately retorted,
“You can’t even breathe fire, so you’re a bit of a loser!”
“Ugh!”
I scolded him with a glare, and only then did Moiya lower his raised eyes.
“Huh? They’re here, Moni~?”
A moment later, a whole swarm of adult wyverns flew into the cave.
Magic Tower Lord quickly grabbed my arm and stepped back, putting more distance between us and the wyverns.
Always looking at the cute and adorable Moiya and Moni, I unconsciously tense up when I see the adults.
As if reading my mind, the two boys comforted me.
“They’re just big, blue babies.”
“That’s right. Just trust me, Master.”
Children, they’re too big to be blue babies.
Furthermore, in the dark cave, the wyverns’ bloodshot eyes seemed to float in the air, adding to the ominous atmosphere.
“We need to light up the cave.”
I spread my palms and focused the heat circulating within me.
Then, flames erupted from the tips of my ten fingers.
The flames resembled bodyless candles, and each flew toward the dark location as if they were sentient beings.
The wyverns watching this murmured.
“Captain, judging by the way you manipulate fire, I think you’re wizards.”
The large wyvern glared at Bellos and me and spoke politely to the other wyverns.
“There’s only one wizard.”
The wyvern known as the captain replied in a deep voice, and Moiya immediately feigned recognition.
“Hey, old man! This great wyvern has brought our master, hasn’t it, Moiya~?”
Moiya, who had been sitting on my shoulder, fearlessly flew towards the wyverns.
With both hands on his hips, he flapped his small wings to provoke, and the largest wyvern among the adults stepped forward.
“This little brat has really lost his head. Bringing a human into our habitat!”
“Enough!”
The leader wyvern intervened in a rather polite voice.
“Captain, don’t interrupt me today. I’m going to break that little brat’s bad habits today!”
“That, that rude guy. We’ve never met before, but if you see me, you should say hello first!”
The baby wyvern’s scolding, which had been in the egg for nearly 300 years, was met with laughter.
“You’re still talking nonsense, you fly and fall. I’ll acknowledge your spirit. Today, I’ll hit the other eye.”
The large wyvern snorted and flapped its wings threateningly.
Then, a strong wind blew through the cave, wiping my hair out.
It looked like I’d been fighting someone, pulling out their hair, but now was not the time to worry about my hair.
“Should I introduce myself to them first?”
I whispered to the magic tower master to ask for his opinion.
“I recommend speaking as kindly and gently as possible.”
“...Huh?”
“I thought they would recognize Lady Zelda first... but I guess not.”
The magic tower master seemed to have expected the wyverns to bow their heads to the ground and kneel before me as soon as I appeared.
I was equally flustered.
Even if it wasn't that welcome, I didn't expect to be treated like prey.
"But, if I'm really the Wyvern Lord, why don't you recognize me?"
"Moiya and Moni are special wyverns, so they immediately recognized Lady Zelda's fire power, but regular wyverns might not notice it. Still, it seems like the leader among them has already noticed."
The magic tower master nodded to the large wyvern that the large wyvern had called 'captain' a moment ago.
"If you flap your wings one more time, you'll drive our master crazy, right, Moni~?"
Listening to Moni, I could roughly guess what state I was in right now.
I remembered the magic tower master's advice and pointed at the large wyvern with my finger.
"Is that you? The one who scared our child."
Moiya's shoulders rose up to his ears at my words.
“Yes, master! That big guy is the rascal who hit me in the eye!”
“Today, I’ll just pluck out his eyeballs!”
As the large wyvern threatened Moiya with his fist outstretched,
“Enough!”
The leader flew closer to me, stopping the two wyverns.
“Greetings to you, true leader of the wyverns.”
“!”
“I am the one who leads this pack. I have no name, so you can just call me Old Man, like those great young wyverns.”
The wyvern leader spread his wings wide in front of me, bowed down, and bowed with his forehead against the ground.
The other wyverns were more surprised than I by the leader’s actions.
“Captain! What are you doing?!”
“Kneeling to a mere human!”
“Are you calling those little ones great?”
“This is a disgrace!”
The wyverns’ complaints poured out.
The leader seemed determined to maintain that posture until I told him to stand.
The wyverns' surprised cries gradually turned into anger.
"Are you losing your mind?"
"Someone, hurry up and get the leader up!"
"Let's replace the leader now!"
The large wyvern finally rose up in rebellion.
"Isn't that guy the old man's right-hand man?"
"Oh? Really? He doesn't have even as much loyalty as that lowly young lady, does he?"
I looked up at the large wyvern as the two rascals whispered. The leader, who had been bowing before me, didn't respond to the other wyverns' words, but he looked up as if shocked by the shout of his right-hand man.
The letters 'Gah. Shit.' were engraved in his red eyes.
"This is the one we must follow. Everyone, pay your respects to the master."
The leader stood up and shouted to the wyverns.
Sadly, not a single wyvern obeyed the leader.
In fact, their protests only grew louder.
“You suddenly see a human woman who invaded our habitat, and you want me to serve her as our master? Are you in your right mind? If you’re of age, you should just step aside quietly.”
The large wyvern’s provocation began in earnest.
“T-t-you look at the rudeness a young punk can have toward a savage!”
Moiya clicked his tongue and grumbled.
I thought to myself, “That’s how they treated him last time, and now you’ve come back with a sullen face.”
Linel slammed his fist into the door.
The thick wooden door was dented in the shape of a fist.
“Your Majesty! W-Wouldn’t you be trying to open the door with your fist...”
Of course. He’d open it.
Raphael quickly stopped him.

“Old man, you’ve been managing your subordinates like a sour sausage, haven’t you?”
This time, Moni taunted the captain, gently nagging him as if to tease him.
“I apologize for showing you this. Please forgive their ignorance.”
The captain apologized to me like a veteran who had seen it all.
“You call that woman your master just because she threw a few sparks into the air?”
The large wyvern questioned the captain, glaring at me.
“She is the one who holds the Incarnation and the Incarnation Sword!”
The Magic Tower Lord replied in my place with a stinging tone.
The murmur among the Wyverns grew louder again, and the large Wyvern grumbled again.
“We don’t sense any special fire energy from that woman!”
That meant he couldn’t acknowledge me.
Was it my turn to step forward?
But how?
I called out to the Incarnation.
‘I feel like I need to show you something. Do something.’
‘Zelda, as you know, I am a body without substance.’
The Incarnation replied in its usual indifferent tone.
‘Then what should we do?’
‘Well, judging by the way they look at you, I think they’ll only obey if the Incarnation Sword manifests.’
The Incarnation simply blurted out a word as if it were a good deed and disappeared.
How do I summon the Incarnation Sword that entered my heart?
“What must I do to manifest the Incarnation Sword?”
I asked, staring at the Magic Tower Master, who had been truly crushed, just like Moiya had said earlier.
But even he couldn’t speak.
Damn it, my good friend didn’t seem to know how to do that.
“We can’t let the humans who invaded our habitat live. We’ll deal with the humans first, and then the little guys who came forward...”
The large wyvern’s gaze shifted first to me and the Magic Tower Master, then to Moiya and Moni, and finally to the captain.
It was a sign of an impending rebellion.
The captain simply stared at me and didn’t take any action.
He simply watched the large wyvern’s arrogance as if he were waiting for something.
“Ahem, hey, cough.”
I spoke to the large wyvern, which was eyeing the captain’s position in a friendly manner.
“Are you talking to me?”
“Then I'm talking to them?”
I pointed at Moiya and Moni, who looked relatively smaller, with my hand and imitated the big wyvern's arrogant tone.
"!"
"As your leader said, I have an incarnation and an incarnation sword inside me. You may not believe it right now, but I will lead you..."
"Don't be ridiculous! We will not be swayed by the nonsense of those brats who don't know wyvern things and the old leader!"
The big wyvern cut me off and shouted, and the wyverns responded with a "kkieng-!"
Then they began talking among themselves in wyvern language.
I was shocked when I understood their plan.
...What should we do?
We'll all really die if this continues?
"Alright. If you're our master, try to stop the wyvern's flames!"
The big wyvern wasn't the only one trying to breathe fire.
Several wyverns were planning to turn us into charcoal grills at once.
“Lady Zelda, we must return immediately!”
I heard Bellos’s urgent voice, but I couldn’t turn to look at him.
A large wyvern began breathing fire at us.
“Master, we are ready, Moiya~!”
“Alright, it’s war now, Moni~!”
Moiya and Moni simultaneously breathed fire from both sides of me.
Moiya and Moni were able to block the large wyvern’s flames, but if the other wyverns join in, it won’t be enough.
Bellos grabbed my hand.
It seemed like he was trying to use teleportation to return.
But I shook off Bellos’s hand.
Before I knew it, I took a step forward toward the wyverns.
It wasn’t my will, it was my body that moved on its own.
Then, as if they had been waiting, the other wyverns gaped at me, ready to breathe fire.
“Stop it! We’ll all die if we keep doing this~!”
Even the old man, no, the leader, flapped his wings at the wyverns to stop them, but it was no use.
Despite the captain's protests, the wyverns unleashed a barrage of fire at me.
At that moment, I felt something swirling inside my heart.
Then, suddenly,
"Whew!!"
Several red rays shot out of my heart, radiating towards the wyverns' flames.
This time, Moni taunted the captain, gently nagging him as if to tease him.
