TBDNS - Chapter 137

Episode 137. My Beloved Wife, Adele

Chook.

His lips descended on Adele's eyelids.

Chook.

His lips carefully descended on Adele's nose, cheeks, and lips.

Adele felt the heat inside her body spread lazily.

"I'm sorry. We won't break up again."

He whispered with a solemn face as if he were swearing.

"Of course. Because I won't let you go anymore."

At that moment, the corners of Adele's mouth went up.

Whoosh!

She quickly lay him down on the bed and changed positions to climb on top.

"Really. If you try to leave me, I'll kill you with my own hands."

She threatened him with her green eyes shining through her flowing black hair. Christine couldn't take her eyes off her appearance because it was so captivating.

Her red lips that said she would kill him were so alluring that he wanted to kiss het again.

She thought of the countless Kings who ruined their countries and even lost their lives because they were obsessed with women. And he thought that he could do that too.

At that moment, if Adele were to stab him in the heart, it would be sweet.

He smiled, pushing Adele’s flowing hair behind her ear.

“Yes, if you want, I’ll gladly give you my neck, my heart, and even my soul...!”

Suddenly, his body flinched.

Damn it again...my heart...!

“Why? Where does it hurt?”

Adele was startled when the blood drained from his face and he cried out in pain. She quickly got down from him and sat him up.

“It’s okay... don’t worry...”

Adele got angry at his words and shouted.

“There’s no way you're okay! You can’t even speak properly because you’re in so much pain! Is it because of me...?”

“Yeah, because you’re heavier than I thought.”

Adele rolled her eyes and sighed.

“Zimmer said that when you collapsed last time. He erased me as the price of the sealing ritual, but your memories came back, and you were sick. That’s why you’ve been in so much danger. He said he might have to erase me again to save you.”

“No, now that I remember everything, I won’t... be sick... anymore.”

Even as he spoke, Christine clutched his chest in pain.

“No, I’m not okay. I can’t stand seeing you suffer like this. Ask Leana to just erase me.”

“I can’t stand it! We agreed not to break up again.”

“There’s no need to break up. Because I remember everything about us. No matter how much you erase me, I’ll persistently chase after you and make you love me. I told you. I won’t let you go again.”

She smiled calmly as she wiped away her tears.

“Then, let’s start anew like we first met. Let’s introduce each other’s names. Yes? I’m okay with that.”

Her earnest plea. Christine couldn’t help but feel something hot rising in hiz chest as she was determined to be abandoned again and start over for his own sake.

“I’m sorry, Adele.”

Unable to control his passion, he hugged her tightly until she was crushed.

But something strange happened. Just like when he had hugged Aaron earlier, this hot, overwhelming emotion felt like it was pushing away the pain in his heart.

As hiz feelings for her grew, the pain gradually faded.

Just like the protagonists in countless stories who realize true love and their curses are lifted.

Will this lift my curse too?

Christine’s pain gradually disappeared to the point where he felt that way.

He smiled as he released Adele from his embrace.

“It’s impossible to forget you. No matter how strong the magic is to erase my memories, I will eventually remember. Do you know why?”

He looked at Adele, who was puzzled, and began to unbutton his shirt one by one.

The front hem gradually opened, revealing his firm chest, and when he finally took off his shirt, Adele’s expression hardened in shock.

“Ouch! What is this...?”

There was a large scar on Christine’s left chest, dripping red blood.

It was clearly the letters of her name. It was a vivid scar, as if it had just been carved with a knife.

“What on earth have you done? Why is my name here...!”

“I told you last time. I said that I had a part of you right before the sealing ceremony.”

Adele shook her head in shock.

“Leana said that if she wanted to know your true feelings, she should take it off... So that’s what she meant.”

“I was desperate back then. I wanted to be with you until the moment I died.”

Zimmer had said that he had already died once. When she thought about how Christine must have felt when he carved her name, Adele felt like she was going to cry again.

Swallowing back tears, she carefully touched the bloody wound.

“It must have hurt, really...”

“It hurt more than I thought. Leana cut it without mercy... If you look closely, she’s more merciless than I.”

“I agree.”

Adele, who had been sobbing, replied with a small smile.

At that moment, the blood flowing out of the wound seemed to ripple and began to change into a bright red light.

“Why the wound...?”

Adele looked at Christine in surprise. He was also bewildered because it was something he hadn’t expected. However, the pain had disappeared, and now it seemed that the curse had been lifted.

Bang!

In an instant, the red light shone brightly.

After a while, all that remained on his strong chest was the scar with Adele’s name engraved on it.

The wound that had been bleeding a moment ago had turned into an old scar as if it were a lie.

“What happened?”

Christine kissed Adele, who was bewildered.

“The Prince’s curse was lifted thanks to the Princess’s love. In short, a happy ending.”

“Doesn’t it hurt anymore?”

“Like a lie.”

Adele hugged him.

Christine no longer had the patience to endure this small, warm body that was filling his arms. In fact, he had been wanting to have her since they were in the carriage, so much so that he was about to turn around.

“So is it time to finish the fairy tale backstory?”

He whispered dangerously, gently biting her earlobe.

“The fairy tale backstory?”

Adele asked innocently. Like a little girl who didn’t know anything.

“You’re really asking because you don’t know... right?”

“I really don’t know.”

“What?”

Adele’s eyes soon widened seductively.

“Ah, are you talking about the real story of adults after the kiss?”

“Ha, that expression, I almost got fooled.”

“If you look closely, you’re the one who’s really innocent.”

Adele untied the strings of her chemise with her own hands.

However, he couldn’t hold it in any longer and quickly pulled the hem of her thin dress down below her shoulders. Then, like a nimble beast, he lay her down and climbed on her.

“It’s just like the first night.”

As his hands caressed her soft skin, Adele’s body swayed like waves.

“Me too...”

“You’re still as beautiful as you were back then, and you drive me crazy.”

When he nibbled her skin this time,

“...!”

She let out a thin moan and threw her head back.

“You seem more sensitive than back then.”

Her cheeks flushed as she glared at him, who smiled sinisterly.

Even after so long, he remembered Adele’s body well and teased her familiarly.

“You seem to have become more wild and vicious than back then.”

“I understand. You’ve been starving for years.”

He really looked like a hungry beast.

His eyes looked like they were fiercely rushing toward their prey, tenaciously, and ready to devour it without a trace...

Did Adele look a little scared?

“Don’t worry. I’ll eat it as gently as I can.”

“Isn’t my breathing too rough for something like that?”

“Isn’t it just me?”

“W-what are you talking about...?”

Adele tried to calm her breathing, which was shaky without her knowing, and tried to pretend not to care, but...

“Sorry. It might be a little rough.”

Christine grabbed Adele’s leg and pressed hiz body against it.

“Ouch!”

Adele screamed, but she no longer acted like an innocent woman.

She met his eyes, which were rushing at her as if they were going to devour her, without avoiding them.

She completely revealed her longing for him, and she responded to the pleasure he gave her without hiding anything.

She felt their hearts beating wildly as they touched each other. It felt so good.

“Do you know? How hot is your expression?”

“Is it as hot as yours?”

“Yes, it’s hot. It’s so hot that I think I’m going crazy.”

He ran without hesitation now.

Adele felt like she was embracing a fireball. It felt like the fireball would spread like wildfire and burn her entire body fiercely.

Sometimes, she felt suffocated by the pressure, as if she would be swallowed by a huge wave and torn apart.

But she did not run away.

Because they were finally together.

Now, she would not let him go even to the end of hell.

Finally, when his name carved on her back and her name carved on his chest met, Adele sobbed. She seemed to be seized by an inexplicable, overwhelming emotion.

“Adele...?”

The surprised Christine turned around, cupping her cheek.

“Kiss... me.”

Even as he kissed her affectionately, he did not stop his persistent desire for Adele.

A sensation that seemed both pain and pleasure swept over her, making her unable to come to her senses.

Then, at some point, a thrill ran down her spine, making her head spin.

An ecstatic rush flowed into her hazy consciousness.

I love you.

Adele.

My wife...

Everything faded to white with the flickering voice.

The dawn was slowly dawning, and the sky outside the window was turning a pale blue.

“What were you thinking about when you risked your life to open the seal?”

Adele, who was lying in bed with him, caressed her name engraved on his chest.

“Thinking about my fiancée. The cherry blossoms are falling, and soon the roses will bloom... I can’t keep that promise. I wish you wouldn’t have to wait too long. Such thoughts.”

“Then didn’t you think about giving up on the seal and coming back?”

“If the same situation happens again, then I will give up.”

“If the same situation happens again, it’ll be a disaster!”

This time, Christine asked, patting her skin.

“How was it when Aaron was born? Was it hard?”

“It was as hard as someone who died and came back to life. At first, Aaron was upside down, so we both almost died.”

“Oh, my...!”

“But strangely enough, he came back to normal in just one day.”

“So you were in labor all day?”

“No. Two days.”

“Ah!”

Christine made a terrible expression as he thought of Adele, who must have been in labor all day. More than anything, he was distressed by the fact that he couldn’t be by her wife’s side when she was having such a hard time.

“I’m sorry. Really...”

“What? You’re not crying?”

Adele laughed like a girl.

“I’m going crazy just thinking about it. When I think about the time you raised the child without me...”

“I didn’t protect the child. Aaron protected me. I don’t even remember the hard times because of him anymore. I only remember the happy times. Even when I hated you, I was sometimes grateful to you. Because you left me such a precious gift.”

“Adele.”

“Our Aaron was a little behind in everything compared to other kids. He was slow to walk and talk. But once he started, he quickly caught up. I guess he learned quickly by watching his brothers.”

“Has he ever been seriously ill?”

“He didn’t have any minor illnesses. Instead, he fell from a tree and broke his head and arm. But Mark treated him and he recovered completely in three or four days. Everyone said it was because Mark was so good at medicine, but we knew. It’s because Aaron is a child of the wolf clan.”

“Tell me more. Things like the foods Aaron likes to eat or the games he likes to play.”

“Aaron... haaam... slept a little... so... sleepy...”

Even as she spoke, Adele couldn’t hold back a yawn and fell asleep.

“Yeah, sleep soundly.”

Christine patted Adele on the shoulder, just as he had put Aaron to sleep.

Just as he had fought fiercely in the war for the past six years, she had also been fiercely mothering him.

And now it was his turn. Even the things he had not been able to do.
