ASP - Chapter 86 < A Request That Is Too Difficult >

"Wow..."

This is what happened while she was sleeping.

“When will I finish this?”

The bathroom was newly renovated. The bathroom, which used to be large but had only a water tank and a place to drain the water, now had a shiny marble bathtub. There was also a large mirror and a wide pedestal for holding a water bowl. A large stove was also installed to heat the water. It seemed like the water was heated by putting water in the bathtub and lighting a fire.

“I’ve never seen anything like this before. It must have been imported from another country.”

Liene, who had been curiously looking at the device that connected the stove and the bathtub, wrapped a towel around her body and climbed into the bathtub. Mada. Flambard had said that the best way to relieve dull pain was to soak in warm water. As she immersed her body in the water, warmth spread over her.

“Ah... I love it so much.”

She had forgotten that bathtubs were this good. Liene leaned back against the edge of the bathtub and closed her eyes. The pain that had been throbbing all over her body was slowly melting away in the water.

Bang bang. Someone was knocking on the door.

“Can I come in?”

It was Black.

“Uh... Ah, just a moment... Yes, it’s okay.”

Liene nodded, hastily smoothing the towel wrapped around her body. With a click, the doorknob turned, and Black came in.

“Oh, don’t come too close. I’d be embarrassed if you did.”

Black, who had been hesitating for a moment, snickered.

“I know you’ll listen if I tell you, but I don’t think there’s any reason to feel embarrassed.”

“Why wouldn’t there be any?”

She was now facing away from him, so her head kept turning back. It was almost evening now, so she hadn't seen him in a while.

“I'm wrapped in a towel, and my face is probably red from being used to it.”

“There weren’t even any towels yesterday.”

“No, that was... dark.”

“The moonlight was bright.”

He's so good at saying such embarrassing things.

“I feel even more embarrassed when you say that. I think you should leave.”

“I think my memory is faulty. It was very dark.”

“Would it be any use to lie now?”

“Fool me just once. I’ve been holding back from seeing you all day.”

Then Liene had nothing else to say.

“I came secretly again. I didn’t want the ladies to find out.”

They said you were intimidated, is that really true?

“...Do I really have to go out?”

...No way. Liene really wanted to see him too.

“Then stay behind me.”

As Liene spoke with a smile, Black quickly approached her and sat down, leaning his arms against the bathtub. His lips moved down to her shoulders, which were soaking wet from the water, as if he was sighing.

“I missed you.”

...Me too.

“Where have you been all day?”

“Here and there. They told me not to set foot in the bedroom.”

Liene giggled out loud.

“Were the ladies that scared?”

“I was scared of the Princess.”

Me? Why? The lips that gently descended warmed her shoulder.

“I was afraid that you would be disappointed or angry with me. I couldn’t control myself.”

That's right... Black's words brought back memories of last night that she was trying to forget. Her body temperature, which had already risen from being immersed in warm water, suddenly soared.

“Well... I don’t think it’s your fault alone.”

“I didn’t know it would be this hard. I should have known.”

There was a strange lack of energy in his voice. That was why Liene knew the real reason he was intimidated. It wasn't because of the ladies nagging him, but because of her.

“How would I have known? It was my first time.”

“I was so out of it yesterday.”

Liene turned her hand back and felt Black's face. She wondered what kind of expression he was making, but she didn't have the confidence to turn around in her current state.

“I don’t think it was quite like that...”

Actually, it was the opposite. If she were to compare last night to a sensation, it was like riding a wave. It was endless, without a break. There was no room to escape. She had never known before that there were so many places to touch on a human body and that pleasure could be so varied. Liene's face turned bright red as if it had been used to it.

“I reflected a lot.”

Even so, his lips continued to stroke her shoulders and the back of her neck. Liene let out a small sigh and asked.

“You're reflecting on yourself, so why do you keep kissing me?”

“Because I reflected on it.”

"Yes?"

“So today will be different.”

Wow... How is that a reflection?

“You don’t know how to reflect at all.”

“You'll know when you see it.”

So, that means she has to see it first. Liene tried not to laugh, but she couldn't help but laugh, which was embarrassing. Liene turned her head to the side and gently pulled his ear.

“I think you have no conscience. How are you going to face the ladies tomorrow?”

“Is it really necessary to have a conscience?”

Black grabbed Liene's chin as she turned towards him and pressed his lips against hers. The kiss they shared while immersed in warm water felt somehow more passionate.

“Ah, no more... This is the bathroom.”

Liene grabbed Black with her wet hands. It seemed like she had to stop the increasingly intense kiss at this point.

“Can’t you be a little more lenient? This is our first kiss.”

It was already too long. And she kept worrying that the towel would come off if she opened her head. If this guy was determined, she wouldn't even notice if the towel fell off. She had to stop him here.

“I think we’ve kissed enough.”

“No way.”

Black wrapped his arms around her head and nipped her lips deeper.

“I will never have enough, even if I spend my whole life doing it.”

“That’s... umm...”

The kiss continued for a long time.

“But... I can’t do this anymore. I can’t sleep in tomorrow either.”

“It’s okay for newlyweds to do that.”

“Well... I don’t know since it’s my first time being newlyweds.”

“You don’t know, so listen to me.”

Oh, this guy is stubborn about this. He listens to everything else.

“I haven’t even eaten yet.”

"Ah..."

Slowly, his lips parted, filled with warm, burning regret. Black muttered in displeasure.

“Then I can’t be stubborn anymore.”

He knew he was being stubborn.

“Then, after you finish your bath, come out. I’ll prepare a meal.”

It was surprising that the action of standing up readily still seemed regrettable.

“Before I go, I have a favor to ask.”

Liene reached out and grabbed Black's finger.

"Speak"

“Just kiss me one more time. Not too long.”

Black smiled, frowning.

“Do you know this is a difficult request?”

“But you’ll still listen, right?”

Black bent his upper body. As expected, it was a difficult request.

***

“Now is your chance.”

While the attendant was pinning a gold-chained jewel pendant to his shirt, Dieren muttered to himself as he looked into the mirror. In the mirror was the Grand Prince of Alito, with his sleek appearance and refined speech. He was attractive to any woman, and he had never doubted it.

“The day after the wedding. After spending the first night, most people end up regretting getting married.”

Dieren smiled at himself in the mirror. The attendant just silently helped with his makeup. He thought that was just a matter of personal preference, but Dieren wasn't the type of person to listen to him anyway.

“The Princess didn’t come out of her bedroom all day, using the excuse of oversleeping. That’s proof of her regret.”

“... It is done, Your Highness.”

“Comb my hair again. It has to look nice.”

Even now, the hair was neatly combed with oil. The attendant silently picked up the comb.

“What can comfort a heartbroken woman?”

“Well, what woman doesn’t like jewels?”

“I see. Go and pick out something suitable. Not too expensive, but something that will irritate your eyes.”

The servant nodded, wondering if that sounded like drinking hot tea cold. He opened the large travel trunk that was stored under the bed and looked through the jewels owned by Dieren. A lily-shaped brooch made of sapphire and opal seemed like a good gift for a woman.

“How about this?”

“Yes. Let’s do that.”

The servant put the jewels in the box. After a while, Dieren, dressed as a peacock in the style of the Alito Principality, came to Liene’s room with the jewel box in his hand.

***

Fermos faced a very unpleasant situation. He was now heading to Liene and Black’s new fact. The late dinner was not in the dining room but in the faction next to the bedroom. It was obvious even without looking. The lord had no intention of coming out anymore. The words that he was trying to stop him from saying, even though so many things had been postponed because of the wedding, rose in his throat, but Fermos held back his sadness.

Yes, it’s because they’re newlyweds. He’ll have to hold back for a few days. If he messes with something wrong now, it’ll be a big problem.

Anyway, he headed to the faction, but before that, he found the Grand Duke of Alito wandering around the faction. Was that man crazy?

Fermos, who had a keen eye, immediately figured out Dieren’s purpose. He was dressed like a peacock in heat, and he was holding a jewel box in his hand. It meant that he had business with Liene. Fermos clicked his tongue out loud. Even if he was stupid, he could not be that stupid. No matter how stupid a person is, he is a person who cannot use his own legs when it comes to women, but Liene is not someone else's woman, but his master's woman.

“What are you doing there?”

When Fermos called out loud, Dieren and the attendant turned their backs in surprise.

“Oh, that’s good timing. Let Princess Liene know that I’ve arrived.”

Dieren was talking nonsense that wouldn't even make sense.

“What brings you here at this hour?”

“That’s none of your business. Just tell her.”

“That is my job. Requests for an audience with my lord are my responsibility.”

“I thought you had poor eyesight, but it seems you’re also deaf. Didn’t I tell you that I came to see Princess Liene?”

“I heard. What’s the use of distinguishing between the two of them when they are together?”

“...Together?”

Dieren's face hardened slightly. Fermos clicked his tongue again.

“It’s mealtime, so it’s only natural that they be together.”

“Eating at this time?”

“The Princess woke up late. Should I tell her anyway?”

“...No, then.”

Dieren, who seemed to be thinking for a moment, took a step back. It was just as Fermos thought. What Dieren was trying to do in that fancy outfit was something that Black couldn't do.

“See you next time.”

“What is that in your hand?”

Dieren made a displeased face.

“It’s something you don’t need to know about.”

Even so, it was obvious that they were jewels. Dieren's womanizing was splendid, but he also showered women with jewels. He may believe that women like him, but in Fermos's eyes, the power of status and wealth was 80%.

“Then go ahead and check it out. It’s getting late.”

Fermos greeted him roughly, not forgetting to be polite. Dieren turned away, leaving his servant in front, as if he had not even greeted him.

“Tch, you don’t even have to say thank you. I saved you from breaking somewhere.”

Fermos knocked on the door of the truth.

“My lord, my princess. Here you go. May I come in?”

“...Come in.”

The answer came a long time later. Well, he had guessed that would be the case. The wedding was yesterday, and Black couldn't be by Liene's side all day.

“Did you have a good meal?”

The first thought that came to mind when he opened the door and stepped inside was that it was not night but daytime. It was so bright, just like that. Liene’s face was so bright and lively that it hurt his eyes. It was a good thing he kicked that person out. If they had seen that face, he would have been unable to find a place to lie down and would have wandered around.

As Fermos had said, the two people together looked so good that it was burdensome to look at them. All he could think was that his presence there was like an intruder. Fermos coughed awkwardly and quickly moved his mouth.

“It’s getting late, so I’ll just say what I have to say and then leave.”

Fermos's story wasn't very long, but it was something they absolutely had to know.
