THYU - Chapter 59

Winter's expression became distorted when he saw the red, swollen instep, and he placed the crushed medicine on the instep. Then Winter, wrapping a bandage around her ankles and tying them tightly to prevent them from coming off, lifted her up.

When Violet took two steps to stand up and fell to one side, Winter wrapped one arm around her body and lightly picked her up. After putting her down on the bed, Winter bent down, looked at Violet's face, and asked.

"I heard you were injured in the Aiden family. I heard you got hit by a glass thrown by a woman from that family?"

"Yes. So, on the way, I reported to the police officer that I had been hit by an object and that I had not received any money."

"Is that it?"

"Was there anything I should have done differently?"

Winter was both amused and envious of Violet's stubbornness in believing that everyone would do their best in their duties. He knew that talking to the officer would be of no use. If that had been of any use, he wouldn't have been beaten up like that as a child.

He said, placing his hand next to Violet's head.

"I won't let her come to the opening party. Anyone in the Aiden family."

"I already sent her an invitation."

Winter laughed at Violet's answer, then patted his wife's cheek and said.

"So what? No matter how crazy I am, I'm not at the level of laughing and chatting at a party with someone who hurt my wife."

Violet looked embarrassed and cupped her cheek with her hand. Winter laughed, shaking his shoulders at her actions, and then stood up.

"Don't come out because you're hurt."

"Ah, thank you. Bye."

After Winter left, Violet, who had been dazed for a while, belatedly got up and looked at her bandaged feet.

"You definitely tie it better than me."

Violet muttered, and for some reason, her face felt hot, so she fanned her hand to cool it off.

A few days later, a dinner party was being held at the Aiden family.

The main story was about the invitation to the opening party of the new Kanik Hotel. People asked with concern when they heard that Elsa did not receive a second invitation.

"Still haven't received an invitation? A few days ago, the Kanik Hotel sent someone directly to visit each family?"

"Maybe it's missing? Don't you have to go see it?"

Elsa was pretending like nothing was wrong, but she couldn't hide her nervousness. The same was true for her parents.

Almost all of the families around here had been invited to the party, even if it was for promotional purposes, so it was clear that they were really missing out. However, the omission was an extremely humiliating thing for the family. This was because it meant that it was not a family worth paying close attention to.

When assessing a family's power, the size of its wealth is of course important, but the power of the social circles through which one's connections come and go is also very important. Elsa's expression became increasingly anxious.

When she was thinking about going to the hotel right away, even tomorrow, the butler came up to her and whispered.

"Miss, a guest has arrived."

"Guest? What kind of guest?"

"This is Sir Winter Blooming, the CEO of the Kanik Hotel."

At those words, Elsa suddenly stood up.

"Ask them to come in."

After a while, when the Winter Blooming came in under the guidance of the butler, people's mouths naturally opened.

He had his hair slicked back and was wearing a perfect suit. His tall height and long limbs made the suit she wore shine.

At the same time, Elsa felt an uncontrollable attraction to the man as a member of the opposite sex, and at the same time, when she noticed the eyes of the Kanik clan she had heard about through rumors, she looked down on him.

Because the Kanik clan had moved to Rockround due to political difficulties on the continent where they lived, they faced even more discrimination in this area than in Rockround.

Elsa asked, looking at Winter with eyes that clearly showed such discrimination.

"What brings you here?"

"I'm here to give you a new invitation."

People began to whisper at Winter's words. Elsa twitched the corner of her mouth and held out her hand.

"Why did you come in person?"

"I have something to tell you."

Elsa felt a great deal of pressure from Winter's grave expression. He was a handsome man, the likes of which she swear she's never seen around here. The cool atmosphere suppressing her hot-tempered nature felt strange, and it felt like her heart was going to explode.

At that time, Winter tilted his head crookedly handed her an invitation, and said.

"I'll give you a second invitation, but you don't have to come. It's going to be very uncomfortable."

"... Yes?"

When Elsa finally came to her senses and asked, Winter continued speaking.

"I heard you were rude to my wife."

"What do you mean? Who is your wife?"

"Don't you know my wife? I thought most nobles knew everything. Ah, you are from a very humble family for that."

A sneer appeared on Winter's lips. It was outrageous that his wife was insulted by a family like this.

Meanwhile, Elsa said in annoyance that no matter how much she thought about it, she couldn't remember who she had been rude to.

"I don't remember anything like that. Aren't you mistaken with someone else?"

"My wife was hurt, how can you not remember?"

Winter finally said in anger. A face came to mind for a moment, but Elsa tried to deny it. Her face became increasingly white.

"Don't talk nonsense. I've never done anything like that?"

"Which part doesn't make sense? My wife did the work in the first place and you didn't even pay for it. Even local gangsters don't do business like this."

As expected, it was Violet's story. Sa screamed with tears in her eyes because she was so wrong.

"I did not know! If I had known, I wouldn't have done it!"

Then Winter looked down at Elsa with eyes full of displeasure.

"Well, I was born a lowly person, so it doesn't matter what you did, but my wife really hates being rude. I hope you don't come near my hotel."

Winter finished what he had to say and left. Elsa felt anger and fear and her hands were shaking.

***

"Oh my, Little Madam! Don't walk!"

"But still, how come I can't even walk?"

"It's fleeting!"

Violet scolded Jen as much as she could and sat in front of the table without any other choice.

Flip, who especially follows Violet, came along with Jen on his day off and was quietly cleaning, while Jen was tidying up the bed sheets. She came and sat there, across from Hayel, at the table, making this narrow house very crowded.

Hayel had run away here looking very tired. Hayel, who can barely drink his alcohol, took a sip of his beer and mumbled.

"He worked like that until he found the Little Madam, but now he has completely let go of the work. Ah, I guess It's really time to quit. The CEO's personality is getting more and more dirty, and I don't know how much he's losing his temper."

Hayel, who was usually sly but not very talkative, started babbling after taking a sip of beer. Winter had always been a bit condescending when dealing with Violet, so she wondered if the man was to the point of being criticized like this.

Anyway, Hayel seemed to be having a hard time, so when Violet, who had been listening to Hayel's complaints, tried to stand up, Flip came running to her.

"What do you need?"

"Hayel seems drunk, so I thought I'd give him a glass of water."

"I will bring it to you."

While Flip went to get water, Violet snatched the beer from Hayel's hand.

"You're drunk, so stop drinking. Don't you have to work?"

"I don't know, I tell the CEO to figure it out on his own."

Flip brought water to Hayel, and he gulped it down. Still, he seemed to have not sobered up, so he fell down on the table and grumbled.

"I'm tired too. I'm going to change jobs. An office worker's dreams and hopes for a job change..."

"You've been through a lot."

Violet found Hayel's drunkenness somewhat tiring but cute, so she smiled without realizing it.

"Still, is there anyone in the world who cares for my husband as much as y ou do? My husband is so blessed to have met you."

"Be sure to tell that to the CEO! If he hadn't saved me when I was begging, I would have stopped a long time ago."

As Hayel muttered like that. Violet placed her hand on her temple as if she felt dizzy. Then, she looked around her with an expression as if she was wondering if there was such a market floor in the world and clicked her tongue.

The only one who noticed the subtle change was Flip, who had no interest in Hayel's words and was only concerned about the safety of the Little Lady. He was worried and looked at Violet's.

He was worried and looked at Violet's dissatisfied face, and at that moment, Havel raised his head and asked Violet.

"The reason you two meet again... It must be difficult, right?"

Then Jen came forward and asked with wide eyes.

"Secretary, do you know what the CEO said to the Little Lady?"

"What did you say?"

"When the little lady asked why he didn't want to get divorced, the CEO said he was confident he could turn this marriage into a profitable one."

"... Really?"

"Is that so? Is there anyone in the world who would want to stay married after hearing something like that?"

Violet's expression hardened at those words. After a while, Violet opened her mouth.

"Well, it's been a while since I said this. That's not such a bad thing to say, is it? Anyway, it's worth it. In the long run."

At those words, all three people turned pale at the same time and looked at Violet.

"Don't be weak-hearted, Little Lady."

"That's right. I also changed my mind after listening to Jen. I am against reunion, Little Madam."

Jen and Hayel spoke with serious expressions, and Flip nodded from next to
them.

Violet must have been irritated by their reaction and kicked the table leg. At that moment, Jen and Flip looked at Violet's feet in horror, but Hayel jumped up and shouted.

"CEO!"

"CEO?"

When Jen tilted his head, Hayel rolled his eyes and looked at the Little Madame who had clearly changed her body. Seeing this behavior of kicking someone out of anger, he was sure it was Winter. As expected, Winter, who had taken over his wife's body, thought for a moment, then smiled and said to Hayel.

"Oh my, you're making such a loud noise indoors. Be rude."

"Our Little Lady doesn't pass responsibility to others like that."

"Who is 'our' Little Madam?"

At that time, Jen asked worriedly.

"Oh, the younger lady, you hit it hard just now, didn't you?"

Jen was certain that Violet must have crashed while standing up since there was no way she could have kicked something on her own.

Flip asked, fidgeting.

"Do you mind if I check?"

Winter's words rose to his throat, but s
he forced himself to smile.

"No."

"Ah... Yes."

Flip looked puzzled but backed away. Winter clicked his tongue at Flip, who couldn't take his eyes off his feet. Flip was always sincere and kind-hearted, so he was loved by many employees. However, the way he treats Violet now is completely different from the way he treated him.

Winter sarcastically said.

"More than that, I hate faces that look like you. Don't come any closer."

Then, rather than feeling offended, Flip tilted his head at the words that couldn't have come out of Violet's mouth.
