THYU - Chapter 46

When morning came, Violet woke up in an unusually cozy bed.

"Soft."

She was amazed and her eyes widened at the sound of her own voice.

She knew right away that this was not her room. There was a nice rose gold light hanging from the ceiling, and when she turned her head, she saw an IV stuck in the back of her hand.

And that hand wasn't hers. Violet, realizing that her husband and her body had switched, was horrified and raised her upper body.

"Uh, what happened?"

Did he die while I was sleeping?

That was the first thought that came to mind. Next, as she was thinking about how to resolve this situation, the door opened. Hayel, who discovered that she had opened her eyes, came rushing to her frantically.

"Wow, CEO!"

Hayel said with swollen eyes from crying all night.

"I was surprised! Why are you down for no reason?"

"I'm falling down?"

"I knew you would be like this one day! So everyone told you to rest! Why did you go under the castle wall? What are you going to do if you suddenly collapse like this again?"

"Again?"

"If the guards didn't find you, I really..."

Violet looked at Hayel with a blank face.

She was confused because everything that came out of Hayel's mouth did not sound like Winter's story. Could it be that Winter died, not her?

Still, their body will change?

While that thought occurred to her, it occurred to her that Winter might not be dead, but that he might have figured out another way to change their body. Because there is absolutely no reason for him to die.

Hayel wiped away his tears with his palm and continued pounding.

"No matter how good your physique is, what will you do if robbers kidnap you by threatening you with a gun? The ransom is going to be huge, so how are you going to pay it?"

“Hayel.”

"Oh, I don't know. Even If I get beaten up, I have to say what I have to say. Get some sleep! About a month!"

"Look here."

Only after Violet called twice did Hayel sniffle and nod. He said, smiling faintly.

"It seems like you really care about my husband. He should know this himself."

Hayel, who had been going wild at those words, shook his shoulders and stopped crying. And he suddenly cried out in shock.

"Little madam!"

Violet urgently covered Hayel's mouth. Hayel, whose eyes widened, nodded his head. The only person who knew that the couple's bodies were changing was Hayel.

When Violet let go, Hayel's eyes widened and he asked.

"Are you changing your body again?"

"That's right."

Hayel asked in Winter's voice, which was mixed with the calmness of the Little Lady.

"What do we do now?"

"Only when we meet again and our bodies touch can we regain our bodies. For now, my husband will be at my house, so I think it would be a good idea to go visit him."

Hayel looked at Violet, who spoke softly with the face of a CEO, and then said as if he was amazed.

"There was something I wanted to tell you last time too, but miraculously, the Little Madam has become more like royalty."

"What does it mean?"

"You used to be withdrawn. Much more so now... I should say you have dignity."

Violet laughed at his words.

"It's because it's my husband's body."

"No, our representative is very far from dignified. It's not majesty, it's a threat, that is."

Hayel was so worried that he cried until his eyes swelled and immediately became a tell-all.

Violet consciously smiled a little and asked him again.

"Anyway, my husband... He collapsed under the castle wall?"

"Yes, he did."

Violet was worried about her husband. His body changed due to luck, but if he died from overwork, it was an issue that needed serious attention. Violet was about to go straight to Winter, but Hayel quickly grabbed her arm and made a cute gesture.

"Little Madam, since the time has come, can you just take care of a few minor things and leave?"

"Work?"

"Yes. The CEO collapsed at 10 o'clock yesterday, so there was a bit of a hack log-in work."

"He should go to bed at 10 o'clock, right?"

"Our CEO is the type of person who goes to bed late and wakes up early."

"Isn't that just not sleeping?"

"You're right."

Violet looked puzzled and headed to Winter's office. There was a gray carpet on the floor, and there was a small office and a small bar right next to the bedroom.

Even if everything was temporary, the office was great. If you woke up a little earlier, it was a perfect location to see the sunrise.

Violet sat down and checked the documents. It looked complicated, but there was nothing she couldn't understand, so she started reading it carefully, and Hayel next to her asked with a serious expression.

"Little madam, if possible, can't you stay longer?"

"What brings you here?"

"The CEO doesn't read documents at all these days. Just sign it."

"Then it doesn't work."

"It's true that it can't be done. So, I told you. The CEO expanded the business too aggressively and went bankrupt."

Violet thought, seeing as he said this, it must be true.

She had never even imagined that a dangerous situation would arise at her husband's company. It was a company that seemed like it would always be solid as long as her family didn't ruin it. Hayel said with emphasis as if now was an opportunity.

"So, I think it would be good if you could stabilize the company a bit now."

"How can the company..."

"First of all, the CEO never goes to meetings. It will be much better if you just attend the meeting. You need to know what's going on, even the CEO."

Not only is the company in crisis, but the culprit is her husband. Everything was a shock to Violet. The things her husband loved most were cracking. At that time, Anjali, the vice president, suddenly appeared.

"CEO."

Hayel flinched. However, Violet calmly asked the woman she had never seen before as if nothing had happened.

"What's going on?"

Hayel was relieved by her calm reaction, and Anjali placed the envelope she brought on Winter's desk.

"I will quit."

It was a resignation letter. Hayel's eyes and mouth opened wide. Anjali was not in a good mood because Winter was already grabbing her collar.

Moreover, instead of apologizing after that, Winter continued to deviate further and further, so she seemed to have exploded as well. She was a patient woman, and this resignation was probably a warning to look back.

It had to be that way. In the current situation, if Anjali quits, the company is in real danger. Violet, who was staring at the resignation letter, accepted it and said.

"Thank you for your hard work."

No, little madam! You can't say that!

Hayel crossed her hands behind Anjali with a thoughtful look on his face and even shook his head to let her know that her resignation letter should never be accepted. Fortunately, Violet understood and she put down her resignation again.

"But I hope you work harder in the future."

Hayel was dispirited by Violet's efforts and squatted down in his seat. Anjali spoke in a voice filled with deep hurt.

"I told you a few days ago, but I can't do it anymore. How are you going to fix things later by expanding like this? I still have a lot of debt to repay, so I don't want to sink into the company. Please let me out."

Anjali didn't notice the change, just thinking that Winter was being polite in a rare way to catch her. Violet thought for a moment and then stood up. At the same time, she buttoned her jacket a little clumsily to be polite, and then gently patted Anjali on the shoulder.

"I'm sorry. The things that made me worry and the things that I couldn't understand."

Anjali paused at the unexpected apology. Regardless, Violet continued speaking sweetly.

"But I hope you can understand me just a little bit. How dangerous is the company's situation?"

Anjali looked somewhat touched in response to Violet's question. She didn't know how long it had been since the CEO asked such a simple question. Anjali answered quickly.

"I have prepared the documents. Of course, you will postpone it again..."

"Let's check now. Bring it."

Anjali, who was thrilled to see the change in the CEO in just one day, immediately walked out and brought the entire box of documents.

"You can read this first."

"Right. It will take a while to read it aII, so please take your resignation letter back."

"Yes, CEO."

Anjali accepted the resignation letter handed over by the CEO with both hands.

There was a strange overwhelming feeling coming from the current representative that made people obey. Moreover, Winter, who was always leaning back in his chair and putting his feet up on the desk as if he was tired of everything, sits upright and begins to check his documents. Anjali felt admiration for Winter for the first time.

Moreover, she felt proud as she wondered if her resignation had had such a big impact on him.

Violet pointed forward with her pen.

"Sit down. You are probably familiar with this document."

"Yes, CEO."

Anjali sat right in front. Violet asked.

"Would you like some tea?"

"Why are you acting like someone else?"

"What did I do?"

"This is the first time you've asked me if I want tea. I've been grabbed by the collar several times."

"... Ah, the collar. For doing such a terrible thing, no matter how many times I apologize, it's not enough."

Hayel hurriedly spoke as Violet looked at Winter with a lot to say.

"I'll tell you to raise the tea. I'm out."

Hayel said goodbye and left the office and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thank God..."

If it were Winter these days, Anjali's pride would have been scratched by being sarcastic and swearing again. Perhaps because she was from a prestigious family, Anjali found such treatment particularly difficult.

When Violet first apologized. Anjali's heart, which had been closed off, opened immediately. Winter Blooming has not offered anything resembling an apology since gaining power. She couldn't help but feel like it was a special treat when such a cruel man handed her an apple.

If Violet hadn't changed her body today, she might have really quit, and if she had, the company would have been in real danger.

One way or another, Hayel thought, it was certain that Winter's bloodline was watching over him.

***

Winter opened his eyes on the bed and stared at the unfamiliar ceiling.

He thought he was dead, but he couldn't die. He had no idea it was such a big punishment.

The thought that he really had to find a way to die from now on only filled him with fatigue.

He slowly raised his upper body and ran a hand through his hair. Violet's long hair flowed through his hands.

“Ah.”

He tried making a sound.

He had no motivation, but when he heard Violet's voice, his sorrow melted away.
He sat up with his upper body still looking straight ahead.

It wasn't a house full of flowers as he thought, but the scent of flowers could be felt everywhere.

It would have been better for him to wait for his wife, who would be able to ride comfortably in a carriage, to come to him with his body than for her to go.

So, while he was sitting quietly, he heard a crunching sound and a little child suddenly came into the house.

"Violet! Why aren't you awake yet? Mom told Rina to wake up Violet!"

"..."

"Violet?"

A girl who looked about six years old tilted her head, looking puzzled at Violet, who did not welcome her as usual.

“Viiooleet!”

The child crawled onto the bed, loudly calling Violet's name. Then she sat down on his lap and placed her forehead and Winter's forehead with her hand.

"Does it hurt? I'll come with Mom! Wait a minute!"

Then she ran out, making all the noise she did when she came in.

Winter is already exhausted.

It feels like hell here too, but the hell next to him is even worse than here. What a terrible thing.
