THYU - Chapter 9
To Help You Understand
Violet, who was curled up in the closet, slowly opened her eyes.
She seemed to have lost consciousness in the middle of knocking on the door. She pushed the closet and fortunately, the door opened.
The sun was already setting.
She sat leaning against the closet for a while because she didn't have the strength to get out, and then her gaze caught sight of a rose in a vase. The flowers Winter gave her withered, but he brought her new, similar roses. She wanted to be reminded every day that she received flowers as a gift.
The flower reminded her of him.
"I don't hate you."
At the time, she thought Winter's words were just lies and passed them off, but now she needed those lies.
After the body switch, Winter became more aware of Violet's weakness than she was herself. Right now, Violet can be anyone, so she wanted to tell someone about the hurt in her hands and the hurt In her heart.
Determined to find him, she walked out with difficulty.
Fortunately, Winter had brought some people from today's party who might be of help to the business to the couple's mansion to chat with them.
He was sitting leisurely on the sofa with his legs crossed. He talked about business while smoking a cigarette, got annoyed by something about him, and even swore.
To be honest, resentment came first. How great it would have been if he had found his wife first as soon as he got home if he had come to say hello. If he had, he would have found her in the closet, and if he had, she wouldn't have been so sad when she opened her eyes.
Even while thinking that, Violet thought of pulling his hand one more time. She's going to ask him to stay by her side for today.
Violet managed to put on a calm face and walked towards them. Even though she was weighed down by her heavy sorrow, she did not forget her courtesy and greeted her guests first with a gentle nod.
"You all look familiar. Please rest in peace."
Everyone stood up and greeted her greeting. After saying her greetings, Violet carefully called out to Winter.
"Winter, talk to me."
Then Winter answered lowly.
"We are talking about something important right now, Ma'am"
"It's important to me too. Really... It's really important."
"Wait in the bedroom. I'll be there soon."
Since there were guests, Winter tried to speak softly, but his nervousness slowly began to show. But Violet instead grabbed his hand and pulled him.
"Listen to me now."
"I'm leaving soon."
Winter said and gently took his hand out of Violet's hand.
Violet stared at her palm for a moment without putting down her empty hand.
Just as on the first day of marriage, his hand that held all her courage slipped away, it was the same today. He always put his work first, and Violet's hand, which he held with courage, was miserable.
Violet, thinking that she would probably never be able to hold his hand, slowly turned around. She left the mansion immediately without looking back.
She will have to attend the Blooming Duke's birthday party, which will be held overnight tonight. Ash or Catherine might come and ask why she didn't come to the celebration party. She felt like she would truly break down after hearing any more criticism.
Her steps headed straight to the stables. At that time, Flip, who had belatedly heard from the servants that she had been locked in the closet, came running out.
"Little madam! Where are you going?'
Then Violet, who was leading the horse from the stable, saw him. She stood there looking as if she would disappear at any moment and smiled faintly.
"Because I want to see the sea."
"The sea?"
"Huh. I heard that there is a sea villa at the end of the estate here. I haven't been there once In 3 years of my life. I couldn't even think about it."
"Now. wait a minute! I'll bring some warm tea, so come with me, Little Lady!"
At his words, Violet's eyes, which had been dry as if withered, came to life.
"Thank you. You are the first person here who cares about me."
"Don't say things like that..."
"I'll just look at the sea and come back. It's late, so go in and rest."
Flip became tearful at her words and had no choice but to retreat. Violet, who learned horseback riding from a young age, got on the horse in a very textbook posture. Contrary to the straightness of her movements, her dress did not bother her at all, exposing her white calves.
Flip freaked out so she quickly turned her head away.
"You just have to see the sea!"
"Then... What else could I do?"
Violet said bitterly and started running.
The sea villa was far away. After riding a horse for an hour, the sea began to come into view.
"Oh my God..."
Violet got off the horse and looked at the sea in admiration. The dark sunset approaching night and the calm sea were beautiful. The old woman, the villa keeper, must have heard the sound of the horse running and came out to meet her in surprise.
"Little Madame? What are you doing at this hour?"
"I came because I wanted to see the sea, so don't worry about it and go back in."
"The Little Madam has arrived...... I will bring the tea soon."
"It's really okay. I will rest for a while and then leave."
After she tried to console her, the villa keeper went back to his room as if there was nothing else to do.
Violet entered the warehouse where the villa keeper kept guns to protect the villa. Violet took out a small gun and entered a room with a path leading to the sea.
The gentle sea breeze played with her shiny hair. It felt like her insides were being ripped out.
"I should have come. Ah, Good.. And seen you sooner."
She thought she would eventually be loved.
So she foolishly clung to him, smiled, and pretended not to hear anything she disliked, and even though she had never received a gift before, she made a fuss about preparing for every birthday. She spent three years doing that.
Violet quietly looked at the sea from the villa.
She thought maybe her body would change like last time, but honestly, Violet just wanted her life to end here.
Violet loaded the gun. Then she held it to her neck and pulled the trigger.

Winter got up soon after because he was worried about Violet.
His wife really hated these big events. His mother was also told that Violet was just trying to get away every time, and on several occasions, Violet even begged him to take her to the capital.
What scared him more than anything was the divorce story.
Hoping it wasn't just about divorce, Winter's steps quickened as he unconsciously saw his hand held by Violet. There was her blood on it.
"Shit."
Is she hurt? Is that why she came here because she didn't know what to do?
Thinking of that later, he felt his heart sink.
He ran to Violet's bedroom. When he got to her room, he found the door ajar. Winter raised an eyebrow and opened the door to find the room empty.
"Where did you go? Let's talk about it."
Winter muttered and found a rose in a vase. He looked at the rose with a dull Iook and said.
"......It looks like you really like flowers."
Fortunately, this time it was a taste that he could sympathize with.
After looking at the flowers for a while, he realized that this was not the time, so he turned around. He hurriedly asked the servant who was preparing the guests' beds.
"Where is Violet?"
When Winter immediately lost his temper, the servant looked frightened, shook his head and ran away, saying he didn't know.
"Yes? Isn't she in the bedroom?"
"I'm not asking because there isn't one."
Violet wasn't in the bedroom. She wasn't in the drawing room, nor was it in the garden. Winter felt his breathing getting heavier and started running frantically to find Violet. She was nowhere in the mansion.
He felt like his blood was drying up. Now he desperately wanted to know what the story she was talking about earlier was. In the end, Winter got into the carriage and headed straight to the Duke and Duchess of Blooming's mansion.
Hayel, who was waiting for his guest at Winter's order, asked.
"What's going on, CEO?"
"Violet isn't here?"
"Yes? She didn't come here?"
"Capital. Isn't there a carriage that went to the capital?"
"Not yet Calm down, CEO."
"How can I calm down when my wife is gone?"
That was when he screamed. Winter suddenly felt extremely dizzy, cursed, and stopped moving.
Hayel asked with round eyes.
"Are you okay?"
Then Winter, who quickly recovered, answered in a strangely calm voice.
"It's okay."
"I'll call all the servants and tell them to find where the Little Lady is."
"Ah...... After thinking about it, she said she was going to a seaside villa. I remember now."
"Yes, yes? Oh, please, please listen to that. I thought she was going to pass out just now."
Hayel grumbled in relief.
Leaving him behind, Winter entered the mansion of the Duke and Duchess of Blooming.
He had something to say.
His steps stopped in front of Ash Lawrence.
Ash, who treated Winter quite kindly as he had a lot to gain in many ways, greeted her first.
"It's been a while, Winter."
"They said you locked my wife in the closet. Joining my mother."
Ash's expression hardened a little at the first thing he said. However, he seemed to have expected something like this and answered with a calm face.
"It's a familiar and light punishment to ordinary nobles. It's because you don't know much."
"It sounds like it's a punishment you're used to and given with a light heart."
Ash paused at Winter's answer, which nobles would normally get annoyed when they say that, but just ignore it. They say couples look alike, but now Winter's eyes and tone of voice are like Violet's.
He was a bit nervous and poured out words as if making excuses.
"Do you know that Violet wants to divorce you? She can't do as she wants, so now she's going to divorce. I even saw Lady Catherine in her tears."
"It's my job. This time, it's already passed, so I'll just move on, but if something like this happens again. I won't stay silent."
"Are you going to sit still and get divorced?"
"I told you. It's our job. Let us figure it out."
He turned around, speaking in a calm voice that was not like his usual Wintet. Then, he stopped when he saw the glass wall clearly reflecting my body.
Ash was also tall, but compared to him, who was much taller than most people and had broad shoulders, he looked rather small. He looked back at Ash and said.
"Anyway, with you by my side. I feel like I've become a lot more manly."
"......What?"
Ash thought for a moment about what he was saying and then frowned. By the time Ash understood his words. Winter had already left the banquet hall.
Winter immediately left the estate in a private carriage that had been hired for today's guests.
***
While he was yelling at Hayel that his wife had disappeared, Winter suddenly felt dizzy and his vision changed.
Winter, who finally came to his senses, leaned his forehead against the table, struggling with the headache that came again.
"Damn it, why are you doing this again?"
It was a villa with a view of the sea. Winter, who managed to control the pain, raised his body and cursed.
"I can't find her in a place like this."
Although it was painful, he was relieved that he had found his wife's place. At that time, the villa keeper came running there.
"Little Lady! Did you by any chance hear a gunshot?"
"Shot?"
"Oh my! Why is this here?"
The villa keeper was scared and picked up the pistol that was lying on the floor. Why it was there didn't matter to Winter right now. The only thing that mattered to him now was why Violet was here. And what on earth was she trying to say to him today?
Winter ran out of the villa to go back to the mansion. However, there was no carriage and only one horse tied up. He couldn't ride a horse at all, so he stood there in a daze, swore, and called the villa keeper.
"Grandma! Call a carriage right now! Yes, Yes! Little Lady!"
The villa keeper, startled by the shout, ran to call a carriage by telegraph. Meanwhile, Winter was sitting on the sofa in the living room on the first floor.
He guessed Violet brought him to this faraway place whether she knew he couldn't ride a horse or not. It seems like his wife stole his body.
