THYU - Chapter 17

THYU - Chapter 17

To Help You Understand

Only after Winter disappeared did peace come to the hotel and to Violet. Winter sent flowers to the guest room for two days. He did everything in excess and even gave flowers in excess.

Violet sighed as she came out of the bedroom, pressing her palms against her temples, which were aching as always, The living room floor, tables, and window frames were all filled with flowers.

"Lulu, no matter how I look at this, you're still angry, right?"

"It seems like that..."

Remembering what Violet said when she asked to buy flowers, it looks like she's going to open a flower shop here. She had to open all the windows because of the scent of flowers.

Although it may be excessive, it was true that Violet really liked flowers. Although she was perplexed, she spent two days secretly enjoying herself, watering flower pots, drying flowers, and making new bouquets.

Lulu asked, taking out one by one the dresses that Hayel had bought in bulk.

"Anyway, I heard you two are going on a date today? Where are you going?"

"I didn't know any place, so I decided to follow the place he often goes."

It wasn't a date, it was an agreement to learn a little about the other person, but there was no need to tell everything that happened between the couple.

While they were sitting in the flower shop-like drawing room having breakfast.

Turin, the hotel's chef, and Flip, a servant of the Blooming family, came in. Thanks to Turin's desire to present the best cuisine, Flip, holding a basket full of ingredients, sighed. She said as Turin took out a piece of cream-colored butter from his basket and opened it.

"This is silk butter from the central part of the Holy Continent that was transported with great difficulty. It is rumored that its taste is as smooth as silk. Look at this great butter that just came over on a boat!"

While Turin was alone and impressed, Lulu told Violet.

"The CHO Is from the South, so he doesn't like food with butter in it. I was so anxious to buy it that I ended up buying it."

"Is there anyone who doesn't like butter?"

"Yes. That region uses more oil than butter in food. Despite all that, the CEO doesn't particularly like butter."

Then Flip also added a word.

"He likes vegetables more than meat. Is that also a Southern characteristic?"

At those words, Turin quickly shook his head.

"That's not a Southern characteristic, but because the CEO was extremely poor as a child and had no access to meat. That's why he doesn't like dairy products."

"I see...."

As Violet listened to their conversation, she thought that just as her husband had said, she knew nothing about her husband as much as he did not know her.

Turin's boasts about its food ingredients have become longer. At that time, the door burst open and Winter walked in, his jacket draped over his shoulders.

"Do you think this is the bottom of the market?"

"I'm sorry, CEO!"

"Let's go out!"

When the three people who were chatting ran away, Winter locked the door and threw the jacket he had brought on the sofa.

"You said you have no friends, but why is it that everyone you meet in the capital likes you so much that they don't know what to do?"

"Do you see it that way?"

Violet asked, a little pleased.

The three years of being criticized even when she walked, stopped, laughed, or cried must have left an aftereffect, and on rare occasions, she was overcome by the fear that the other person was secretly hating her.

Winter responded with a still crumpled expression.

"You're my wife, so even though you might be an inconvenience to the employees, they still come here and talk about it. Of course, they like you so much that they don't know what to do."

"The story became longer because it was fun to introduce food ingredients and choose clothes. Ah, those three people unanimously chose that outfit. I'll change and come back soon."

Violet took out a thin summer mini-dress that reached down to her knees. After that, quickly changed and came out. It was easy to wear, so it was easy to wear alone. Her shoulders were lined with thin straps, it was made of white muslin with vertical pleats, and the waist ribbon was light blue.

As she walked out with a ribbon in her hand, Winter came over and wrapped the ribbon neatly around her waist and tied it. Meanwhile, Violet looked at Winter and herself in the full-length mirror. She knew Winter was tall, but when she looked in the mirror, she saw that he was really, really different.

Violet looked at the mirror and opened her mouth.

"Oh, will Ellie come too? I heard she often sees you at the stadium."

"He will come. It's almost like living in the stadium."

"I guess you're close."

"Not really."

Ellie said Ariella Lawrence, Violet's cousin. "Not really," he answered, but seeing as he knew the nicknames people close to Ariella called her, it didn't seem like they were very close. She even said last time that Ariella and him communicate well together.

Violet nodded once with a nonchalant expression.

***

She could no longer think about Ariella the moment she entered the VIP box at KaIsel Stadium.

Violet, who saw the players warming up right below, let out a short scream in shock.

All the players were taking their shirts off. The bulky upper body muscles sparkled like jewels in the summer sunlight. It was a completely different sport from the sport that Violet enjoyed, wearing a uniform from head to toe and leisurely riding a horse.

Violet couldn't say anything, so she covered her face with a fan and caught her breath. When he saw that, Winter pulled down her fan and said mischievously.

"Look. I won't be jealous if you look at another man's body."

"I know you don't. I don't want to see you."

Meanwhile, employees in charge of box seats brought ice buckets full of beer bottles. Winter took out a beer bottle, pulled it against the window frame in front of the box seat, opened the cap, and held it out to Violet, he asked perplexedly.

"Do you just take the bottle and drink it?"

"Yes, Princess. You can drink it as is."

When Winter teased her with a condescending tone, Violet glanced at him and took a sip of an ice-cold beer.

She didn't hate this atmosphere as much as she thought. It was a bit of a shock when Winter put his shoe-clad feet on the window sill.

He crumpled a cheap, nameless cigarette into his pocket. Then he sat down and leaned back, smoking a cigarette he had taken out with his right hand.

In her life, Violet had never seen someone whose behavior was so crooked.

The man from a prestigious family wearing a neat suit that she has seen so far has gone, and only this unmannered man is left.

Violet thought that everything Winter had shown her so far might have been fake. All of his 'aristocratic behavior', such as wearing a suit and tie and sitting across from the table while eating in silence, must have been painstakingly created by paying attention to every moment.

Violet held out her hand.

"Can I smoke one? That cigarette."

"No. The quality is not good."

"I wanted to find out about you."

Winter clicked his tongue and took out a cigarette. At that time, Ariella poked her head in from beyond the open window frame.

"Winter, here... Violet?"

She seemed to be quite drunk already. She sat down on the window sill and looked at the two people in surprise.

"What's going on? The couple comes together."

Violet looked at Winter without thinking, and he replied.

"Date."

"What, what kind of dating couple is so awkward? Anyway, Violet is a bit stiff. It was like that when she was young. Exemplary and boring....."

While Ariella was speaking, Winter lifted Violet around the waist and sat her on his lap. Violet lost her balance and placed her hands on his shoulders, looking at Winter with startled eyes.

"Are you crazy?"

"You say it's not like a date. More than that, I know how to ask if my wife is crazy. It's as much of a miracle as our trashy team winning."

Ariella paused, looked at him, waved her hand, and left.

After she left, Winter sighed and rested his head on Violet's shoulder.

"What should I do with that kid? There's nothing I can do because he's your cousin."

Violet looked at Winter's head leaning against her in surprise. When she didn't answer, Winter suddenly raised his head and asked in displeasure.

"Violet, are you listening to me?"

"I'm listening, really...You're not close to Ellie."

"Do we have to be close?"

Violet quickly shook her head, thinking that Winter would immediately shout out what kind of bullshit that was. Violet found it funny that she was half-convinced that he was cheating on her with Ariella. Ariella tried to approach him unilaterally.

If Violet thinks about it, her cousin Ariella has always been interested in Violet's things since she was young. Whatever Violet wanted, Ariella wanted the same thing and she wanted something better.

Then Ariella discovered one thing she had better than Violet: freedom.

No matter how much Violet loved ballet, she couldn't become a ballerina, and no matter how much she loved flowers, she couldn't become a gardener.

Her title was that she had always been the only Princess of the royal family Rackround.

Ariella didn't know, but Violet always felt jealous of her freedom and love. She had thought that any man would choose Ariella over her. She still thought that it was Winter's fault for not wanting to talk to her about this misunderstanding, but honestly, his response to Ariella was a bit refreshing.

Now that Ariella had left, Violet tried to get off his lap but grabbed her and wouldn't let her down. Instead, he wrapped his hands around her shapely Iegs and pulled her closer to him. Violet looked at Winter as if asking what he was doing.

"Put me down, stop being rude."

"I wonder how many times I'm going to hear you say I'm being rude today."

"I won't do this anymore."

"Let's make a bet. What if I do it one more time?"

When Winter, who always bet, raised one corner of his mouth and asked with a smile, Violet did not lose and answered back.

"Great. What are you betting on?"

"Three more times. One after another. I go to whatever party you ask me to go to. From beginning to end. I just want to be next to you."

"Lie."

"Really."

Winter bet on something surprisingly useful. Violet was worried about the product that was more desirable than expected.

"I don't have anything to bet on."

"Only you know how your body changes. There are often places where your elegance is needed."

"I see."

Surprisingly, there are times when he needs to change his body.

Violet still had no regrets about her life and thought it wouldn't be a problem even if her body didn't change properly and she died, so she nodded without much hesitation.

"When do you need it?"

"Was it that simple?"

"Easy."

"Then why don't you just tell me how?"

"If you need to, you figure it out yourself."

Violet said that and then got away from Winter, who let go.

As she sat down next to him, Winter secretly told her what he really wanted.

"I even put a kiss on the bet."

"Changing your body when you need it is more useful than kissing me."

"It's not that necessary. Give me a kiss once, until I am satisfied. It's a winning bet anyway if you're careful. No matter what you bet, you have the advantage."

"That's right. Let's make a bet, then."

Violet thought she would win anyway, and even if she lost, she didn't think it would be difficult to briefly touch lips.

Meanwhile, the game started.
