SPMB - Chapter 165
My Body Has Been Possessed By Someone
Sylvien finally caught a plausible clue.
Erdel Iris, the fake identity created by Argon.
As he tracked down the name, he came across a testimony that It was indeed Kanna.
"Yes, I saw her. I couldn't see her face because the hood was pulled down, but I could definitely see her black hair."
At that moment, Sylvien burst out laughing.
'Kanna. It's you.'
He followed every trace she left behind.
Restaurants, inns, night markets. She really had a hard time moving around.
The more traces of Kanna he discovered, the happier Silvien became.
And then he realized.
He seems to have been quite heartbroken by Kanna's death.
That's why he feels so happy every time he gathers evidence that Kanna is alive.
Sylvien imagined happily while tracking down Kanna. Kanna would probably be very surprised when she saw him. And she will definitely hate it.
So the priority was to provide reassurance. He had to reveal that he had no intention of taking her to Addis.
And if he offers to help her escape and support her new life.....
Sylvien suddenly stopped. He quickly grabbed the reins and stopped his horse.
"Why?"
Why should he do that?
Suddenly, a sense of reality struck him. What are he doing now?
Why is he looking for a woman who left in search of a new life? She's alive, so he confirmed it, so it's okay, right?
Is there any need to chase after her and see her disgusting face?
But he didn't turn his horse's head. He wanted to see a living Kanna with his own eyes and...
'I should say sorry to her.'
A conversation that was only possible in imagination.
The opportunity to say those words came like a miracle.
There is a lot to say.

“Erdel Iris?”
Sylvien finally came to the inn where she was staying.
"Yes, you are in her room now, but who are you?"
When Sylvien handed out a gold coin, the waiter quickly showed him to the room she was staying in.
Finally, Sylvien stopped in front of the room. He could feel the popularity beyond the door.
He raised his hand to knock but lowered it again.
Funny enough, he started to feel nervous like a clumsy child.
Sylvien adjusted his disheveled clothes and brushed his tangled hair.
And he knocked on the door. The next moment the door burst open.
"Who... Ah?"
And then he met the woman's eyes.
The black-eyed woman looks up at him blankly. Her eyes look like ash can't believe it as if she's looking at nothing. Soon, both cheeks blushed.
"Wow, you must be an angel..."
An unfamiliar voice, unfamiliar face. A woman he had never seen before, but a woman with black eyes and black hair.
It's not Kanna.
“Miss Erdel Iris?”
Then the woman was startled and her shoulders shook.
"Who are you to know that name?"
"Excuse me for a moment."
Sylvien grabbed the woman's shoulder and entered the room. Then he closed the door.
"Are you Miss Erdel Iris?"
"Yes, that's right."
"You are the owner of a forged identity card."
As he hinted, the woman's face turned pale.
"Well, that..."
"Don't try to fool me. I already knew everything and came here."
After Sylvien made threatening remarks a few times, the woman revealed everything.
That Women were pariahs. She was a flower seller in the slums of the imperial capital, and because she was born with black hair and dark eyes, she could not find a proper job.
But not long ago, a woman appeared in front of her.
It was said that she was a maid who served a certain nobleman. That woman, who had black hair and black eyes, felt sorry for her in the same situation and gave her a new life.
It was the Yalden Kingdom's identity card and some gold.
The Kingdom of Yalden was a country free from prejudice. That woman said that even if she had black hair and black eyes, she could still get a decent job.
That woman said he understood how she felt.
"I heard that because she had black hair and black eyes, she suffered persecution."
The woman had tears in her eyes.
"She told me to live happily."
"..."
"Do you by any chance know who she is?"
Sylvien could not answer. He couldn't believe this.
'Why?'
Why did Kanna hand over the identity card she had worked so hard to obtain to someone else? Could it be that she ran away somewhere else?
She may have deliberately staged a distraction operation to hinder the pursuit.
It was a fairly plausible hypothesis, but an even more plausible reason was waiting. It is impossible to sneak out of the Addis family.
Kanna would also have realized that fact and become frustrated.
So, he may have committed suicide after giving his status card to a woman in a similar situation as vicarious satisfaction.
Therefore...
So Kanna is really dead.
Sylvien leaned his back against the wall.
"Sir, are you okay?"
The woman stretched out her hand in concern, but Sylvien could not feel anything.
He thought they'd meet again.
He thought he had a chance to say something to her....
That hope lifted Sylvien high into the sky and then plunged him into the mud in one fell swoop.
Is that why?
A greater shock crossed him than when he saw her dead body. He had something he wanted to say to Kanna.
An apology saying that he is truly sorry, and...
"I'm curious about you. I don't hate your fiery eyes, confident face, or even your sharp, harsh words. It's actually quite pleasant, so maybe it's a good thing. Well, I need to figure it out. We never had a chance to get to know each other. I kicked them all. Please give me a chance to get to know you."
The countless sentences that were lingering in his mouth got stuck in his throat like thorns.
Sylvien placed both hands on his forehead. And he faced reality as cold as iron. It was a chillingly cold truth.
Late.
He will never have a chance to apologize or start over again.
Because Kanna is not in this world.

The day after the funeral, Alessandro Addis returned.
As soon as he returned, he looked for Claude.
“This happened in front of your eyes”
Claude could not bear to speak, perhaps because of the pain.
"It's as if Lord Kalen killed her. He was greedy for the Young Lady."
"Right."
"Were you aware of Sir Kalen's feelings?"
Alessandro did not answer.
Instead, he looked for a cigarette for the first time in a very long time. After taking a cigarette, Claude lit it with a match.
He exhaled smoke and muttered.
"I guessed it. So I added you."
Claude knelt down at those words.
"Sorry. I couldn't protect her."
"What about the body?"
"It is now enshrined in the chapel."
"Go out."
After Claude left, Alessandro buried himself deeply into the back of the sofa.
Alessandro then smoked five more cigarettes. Dispersing white smoke filled his vision.
Then he suddenly stood up. He walked briskly.
"Your Excellency the Duke?"
As he entered the chapel, the attendants guarding the coffin greeted him with surprise. Alessandro sent everyone away with a wave of his hand.
When they left, only he and Kanna were left in the chapel.
Alessandro stood in front of the black coffin. He looked down and immediately pushed the lid off.
The shining moonlight fell on Kanna's pale face.
Death.
Is there a face that suits that word so well?
Her face is as white as a wax doll, her lips pale, and her hands folded neatly over her chest were like afterimages left behind by life.
It's just a beautiful corpse right now because they've been sprayed with a drug to slow the decay, but it will start to rot in a few days.
“Kanna.”
He muttered.
No answer came back.
Alessandro stretched out his hand. He stroked her still silky hair, then slowly moved down to brush her cheek.
He swept her face, which was completely covered with one hand, as if checking it, and then lowered it.
Down, down...
And the next moment, his hand pierced Kanna's left chest.
Crack.
The sound of bones breaking and flesh chopping rang in her ears. Dark red blood spurted out and wet his cheek.
However, Alessandro looked inside expressionlessly. He grabbed her heart and pulled it out. And the moment he applies force and explodes.
Shaaaaaa!
Her heart began to crumble into a handful of sand.
Falling down, falling down. The blood that had splashed on his hand also fell into sand grains.
Alessandro chuckled.
When he looked into the coffin again, he saw that the place where the body had been lying just a moment ago was full of sand.
Only the lace dress and the blue rose were discarded like shells on a pile of sand.
"Ha."
A smile appeared on Alessandro's lips. Then he couldn't hold back his laughter and burst out.
“Ha ha ha ha ha!”
Alessandro dropped his shoulders and laughed, then placed his hand on his forehead. As he brushed aside his red hair, his eyes were clearly revealed and were full of joy.
"That's pretty cool, Kanna."
Alessandro reached out and touched the blue rose inside the coffin.
"Good job."
And he praised her kindly.
"Very good."

When he went out a little while later, he saw an attendant waiting outside.
They were scared. It was a natural reaction as they heard Alessandro Addis laugh for the first time in their life.
"Is there a problem, Your Excellency?"
But Alessandro Addis' face was as dull as usual. There was not even a trace of the joy that had enveloped him a moment ago.
"There is no problem. Bury the coffin right now."
After giving the command, he turned around and his red cloak was fluttering.
There is no way this matter will leak out. No one but himself will know that the body is nothing more than sand.
Therefore, Alessandro was planning to build Kanna's tomb right away.
So that she can die perfectly.
Alessandro is the most confusing person
ReplyDeleteI was hoping so much she may run away and live peacefully....
ReplyDeleteI am exited for their meeting in the future
ReplyDeleteWHO will find her first? Family or ex husband
ReplyDeleteAlessandro is fking creepy dude.. how did he.. how did he even know like wtf
