SPMB - Chapter 158

SPMB - Chapter 158

My Body Has Been Possessed By Someone

Kanna barely managed to squeeze out her voice.

"What are you doing here?"

"I'd like to ask you that."

Orsini muttered, throwing his straw hat on the bottom of the boat.

"What are you doing?"

Kanna slowly turned her head with a pale face.

A distant island. An endless sea.

Orsini and her are alone on a small boat, as remote as another world.

How is this possible?

This is ridiculous.

"Are you surprised that this isn't the kid you were supposed to meet?"

Orsini laughed very wickedly as if enjoying her astonishment.

"He should be lying down in the back alley of the island by now."

"..."

"I'm sorry for disappointing you."

Kanna stared at him blankly. She has no idea what happened or where it all started.

The results were clear.

'I failed.'

She had to die on Riben Island. It had to be known to everyone. So that no one can even think of looking for her or even imagine that she is alive and breathing somewhere.

But Orsini saw it.

It's all over...

No...

'No!'

Kanna gritted her teeth. She gathered her spirit, which was about to collapse.

'No, it's not over.'

It's still too early to give up. Doesn't everyone on that island think she's dead?

Only one person, Orsini, was off.

'So, I just have to solve this guy.'

If she just takes care of Orsini, everything will be perfect.

'As long as it's not Orsini.'

In a moment, a dangerous option passed by. It's right in the middle of the sea. Even if one person dies, no one will know...

Kanna swallowed with a tight throat. She said and she produced a nonchalant voice.

"How did you know I would be here?"

"Well..."

"So what do you plan to do now?"

"Well..."

Orsini answered carelessly. Unlike her, who stood on the edge of a cliff, he was relaxed enough to make him look bored.

"We'll have to think about it later."

"..."

"It wouldn't be a bad idea to go back to Addis."

Kanna clenched her fists and glared at him.

"I'm not going."

"I think I'm the one rowing."

Damn you!

Anger welled up.

Kanna was so angry that she wanted to slap his face right away, but her face was expressionless. She quickly shook her head.

First, let's start with persuasion.

Recently, Orsini has become strangely more obedient than before, so if she asks, he might listen.

Kanna walked closer to him and sat down right in front of him.

Then he frowned.

"What?"

"I don't want to go back to Addis.

Kanna looked very vulnerable.

"I am so unhappy in Addis. I have never been happy. And it will continue to be so."

If Orsini follows his word. If only he would obediently let her go and leave her side.

'There is no need to kill.'

Not long ago, she killed Crescent without hesitation and has no regret about that action.

But now the case is different. She didn't want to do such a horrible thing again unless her life was in danger.

Orsini, who was staring at her silently, answered.

"I'm not going to Addis."

Kanna's expression brightened. He never thought Orsini would come out so obediently....!

"I'll think about what to do with you for a while."

"What?"

Is he going to think about it for a while? What does that mean?

"Are you saying you're going to go with me?"

"So what do you think I'm doing here?"

Kanna was completely speechless. Soon it was barely.

"Orsini, let me go, please."

"You ask?"

"Yes."

"Then you should be a little more polite."

"What?"

Orsini paused. He rowed the oar loudly and threw it again.

"Kneel."

"..."

He ordered with an expressionless face.

"Get down on your knees and beg."

Kanna slowly raised her head. And she encountered it.

Eyes sparkling with blatant hostility and a desire to win.

This was the old Orsini.

The Orsini who loathed her, hated her, and wanted to destroy her at all costs.

But she hasn't seen it recently...

'Why all of a sudden?'

When Kanna last saw him, Orsini looked like a hunted wolf.

How many times has he felt helpless, unable to do anything about her anymore?

But at this moment, Orsini in front of her was back to how he used to be.

"You can't?"

After thinking for a moment, Kanna slowly folded her knees and sat down.

"Okay, you're good."

Orsini praised in an indifferent tone. And he looked down at her appreciatively.

In an instant, complex emotions appeared on his face. Strange satisfaction, twisted anger, twisted guilt. At first glance, the chaos that came together seemed close to self-torture.

But he didn't stop. Instead, he pushed it even further.

"Lick it."

Orsini was avenging an old humiliation. Just like the moment she held out her shoe to him in the prison.

Just as Orsini took revenge by doing what had been done to him, so did he.

For some reason, Kanna felt like laughing at the repetition of the situation.

Really, it's boring.

They went back and forth and switched positions, constantly trying to subdue each other.

In the end, she thought it was a fight that ended with Orsini changing and winning.

'Son of a bitch.'

Yeah, it was better.

This is it. There was no reason to hesitate anymore. With an Orsini like this, she can kill him without feeling any guilt.

Kanna grabbed his ankle. The moment her fingers touched Orsini's eyebrows trembled.

Kana bet he didn't know that she would really want to do it. He probably just wanted to see a complete defeat.

But whatever.

Because he's going to kill him.

Now!

Kanna suddenly flipped her hand over.

A ring worn on the second finger. He hit the sparkling jewel with his ankle.

"Ah?"

She thought it was taken down. It was that easy. All she had to do was turn her palm over and press the ring...

"I knew it would be like this."

But Orsini's hand was holding her wrist.

Kanna couldn't even see when or how it came. She was dumbfounded by the lie-like situation.

"There's no way you can act obediently without any plans."

"Let go of this!"

"Oh yeah."

Orsini shook off her wrist. Kanna's body fell violently behind him. She had no time to get up when Orsini came straight at her and thrust her ring away.

"What is this?"

He crushed the jewel with his fingers. A thin needle popped out.

"Is it a poisonous stinger?"

Orsini laughed.

"Are you trying to kill me?"

"No."

"No?"

"Yeah, no."

"Then I guess I can experiment on you."

Damn it. Kanna gritted her teeth and turned her head. Orsini giggled at the silent affirmation.

"Yeah, it's not surprising. I knew one day you would try to destroy me."

After saying that, he threw the ring into the sea.

"Ah..."

A sigh flowed from Kanna's mouth.

The ring, her poisonous needle, was the easiest weapon to use...

At that time, Orsini grabbed her collar tightly. She jerked and pulled.

"You look pitiful. Are you that sad that you couldn't kill me?"

Kanna quietly looked at the face that was getting closer.

Bloody eyes, as if they would tear her to pieces at any moment.

That was annoying. It was so sad that it made her heart sink.

Why now?

How dare he set it up again at a moment like this. He is truly a child who will not be of any help throughout her life.

Kanna sighed. Reaching out her hand she touched his cheek.

At the touch, Orsini's hand holding her collar twitched briefly. Kanna feels his jaw tighten under her grip.

"Orsini,"

Kanna looked straight into those eyes and whispered quietly.

"You are such a horrible kid. I'm disgusted by even breathing the same air as you."

Really, Kanna is sick of it.

"If you don't want me to die by your hands, kill me. Otherwise, I will kill you."

And then silence fell. In the tangled gaze, only the sound of the waves broke.

"Yes?"

After a long moment of silence, his lips finally opened.

"I will do as you wish."

The next moment, Orsini threw her overboard. She didn't even have time to grab anything.

Kanna's body fell into the sea. She was sucked in, creating a rough splash.

Slam!

The waves crashed harshly over her head. Kanna held her breath as the sea water splashed against her lips.

She must remain calm. In times like these, she shouldn't panic. She swam towards the boat, repeating frantically to herself.

The moment she stretched her legs vigorously,

"...!"

At that moment, it felt like her legs were split. A dizzying pain exploded. It was an area that had been injured after being crushed by a stone not long ago.

'Damn it!'

Unfortunately, there was no time to endure the pain. The waves crashing incessantly hit her face.

After several attempts, the balance finally broke.

Her nose, eyes, and head, which had sucked in so much water, hurt as if they were on fire. She couldn't come to her senses.

'I can't come to my senses....'

For a brief, fleeting moment, Kanna met green eyes. And she saw it clearly.

His face, that desperate pain, as if he was going to suffocate at any moment.

'You bastard, what right do you have to make that face!"

The next moment, a rushing wave swallowed Kanna's face. She was sucked into the dark sea.

Her arms and legs are weak and she has no strength. She can't resist any longer. Gurgling, the last breath was scattered and rose into bubbles. The moment when consciousness becomes dark, a strong force suddenly pulls the body up.

He threw her onto the boat. But that was all. She fell limp, just as she was thrown.

"Hey."

As if embarrassed by the lack of response. Orsini tapped her cheek.

“Kanna, breathe.”

But Kanna couldn't breathe. She could no longer think, let alone breathe.

"Hey, open your eyes! Kanna!"

Kanna's head fell down due to the force of shaking her body.

"Shit!"

The next moment, she felt something approaching.

Kanna lost consciousness at the last feeling of a hand firmly grasping her cheek and the touch of her breath.
