SPMB - Chapter 157

SPMB - Chapter 157

My Body Has Been Possessed By Someone

"Disappeared?"

"Yes, yes."

"How?"

"It looks like she got out through the window. I found a rope made by tying blankets and curtains together."

"Yes?"

Kalen's face was expressionless. Honestly, he wasn't that surprised. He expected something like this to happen at least once.

He calmly rang the bell and called Claude.

"Sir, release the knights. Find my sister."

"Yes."

"Leah, you go down to the village. Order the residents to report immediately if they find her."

Claude and Leah left the room. Kalen, left alone, let out a deep sigh.

Okay, of course. If she stays still, she's not his sister.

Of course, he knew it would happen at least once.

Kalen covered her face with one hand.

However, he could not suppress the anger that was boiling fiercely. He was so angry that his arms were shaking.

'why?'

Why on earth  Kanna?

Even just once, she won't give it to him according to his will, right?

No matter what he did or how he did it, what came back was rejection like a mace.

Kalen just can't accept it. He will not tolerate it even once.

Every time she resists, every time she refuses, every time she pushes away. Every time, every time, every time, every time!

Kalen's throat became sore and hot. His eyes were red and bloodshot.

Kalen put the sword sheath on the desk on his waist. He walked out of his room with long strides.

She's truly consistent, his sister. Even if Kalen acts devotedly like a slave, Kanna does not give even a single pity.

And vice versa.

Even if Kalen acts forcefully like a worldly villain, Kanna is not afraid. She doesn't give in. Don't bend.

If so, it would be better.

'Should I break her?'

His head was dizzy from the hot anger. Kalen just didn't know what to do. What should he do...

"Lord Kalen! I found her!"

"Where is she?"

"She was found on the beach. Well, but..."

"I'll go."

Kalen walked under the guidance of the knight. As they said, Kanna was sitting on the beach.

"Sister."

Knights surround her. Kallen waved them off.

"Sister."

"Don't come closer!"

Shoot!

The sound of the waves crashing behind her was intense. Kanna's hair blew in the harsh night wind.

"Don't come near me, Kalen Addis!"

Kanna sat down on the sand and shouted. Kalen stared at the figure with his irritated eyes and then sighed.

"If I don't approach you..."

And then he smiled crookedly.

"Are you going to run away?"

"..."

"Look here, sister."

He spread his arms out. Numerous knights were spread out behind him. And behind Kanna, the black night sea waved.

"Where do you plan on going?"

"..."

"You can't go anywhere."

Why doesn't she know this obvious thing? Why doesn't she give up?

Kalen squeezed out his patience.

"So please come here. Let's resolve it through dialogue."

At those words, despair was visible on Kanna's face in the darkness.

"....No."

"Sister."

"I would rather do that."

At that moment, Kanna laughed. Their eyes met.

Her eyes were filled with dark darkness, like someone who had fallen into a pit without a ray of light.

At that moment, a more ominous sense of discomfort penetrated him than ever before.

Kalen's back felt stiff. Something very ominous is about to happen.

When he reaches out.

"I'd rather die."

Kanna lifted the dagger from her arms. Tilt the blade towards herself. Hold it high,

and...

"..."

She hit it down.

"...!"

Red blood spraying out.

The moment that red liquid colored the air, Kalen's world stopped.

His hand, unable to reach her, stopped and faltered. A huge pressure weighs down times.

It went very slowly.

Each moment was excruciatingly slow, and Kalen was able to follow it all with his eyes.

Blood gushing out like a fountain, falling slowly, and even crashing onto the sand...

Splatter!

The moment the sand became thickly wet, a strange moan rang out from Kalen's throat.

Nо.

Wait a moment.

Wait for a second.

Sister.

"Miss!"

At that time, someone hit him and ran away. Blonde man. It was Claude. He lifted Kanna's collapsing body.

Kalen stared blankly at that figure. Kanna was drooping, her black hair flowing wildly. He flailed as if screaming.

"Miss!"

Wait for a second.

"Miss, no... Miss!"

Wait for a second.

Wait for a second.

Wait for a second.

Wait for a second.

Kalen blinked as the dizziness shook his head.

When he closed his eyes, he began to hear his heart pounding. It was his own.

In an instant, cold sweat began to form all over his body. He walked as if possessed, like a dreamer. Kalen sat down.

"Sister."

He stretched out his hand.

"Sister?"

The corners of the mouth are wet with blood.

The moment he touched it, Kalen was startled. Warm blood appeared on his fingertips.

Blood.

Blood.

Blood...

"Sister?"

"The heart..."

Claude's shoulders trembled.

"It has stopped."

"..."

"She died."

"..."

"Are you satisfied now?"

Kalen's ears couldn't hear it. It was an impossible story. He can't hear her breathing.

"Sister, wait a minute."

Her pulse is not racing.

"Wait a minute, sister, ah."

Kalen's lips trembled. It was like his brain was broken and he couldn't form proper sentences. Everything was blurry. Reason, thinking, and even before his eyes.

Kallen muttered frantically.

"Sister, wait a minute if you suddenly do this..."

What should he do if this happens suddenly?

Suddenly like this.

If she commits suicide like this.

For a moment, Kalen's head felt like it was going to explode. It felt like someone had hit the back of his head with an axe.

He gasped from the terrible pain. He couldn't even scream. And then he realized.

"Sister."

Kanna Addis committed suicide.

He took her from Claude. And he checked it himself.

Kalen touched the nape of her neck, her wrist, and even under her nose. However...

"Sister."

***

Kanna ran. She mustered up all her strength and ran.

Her recently injured leg hurt and her heart felt like it was going to burst, but she had to hold on.

If she misses this moment, there wilI be no next time.

"Quickly..."

As she ran along the coast, she stopped for a moment. She then unfolded the map she had hidden neatly in her arms.

She read by the faint moonlight.

'We're almost there."

If she went a little further, a small boat would be waiting for her, It was a ship that had been booked in advance

On that ship, she will head to the Kingdom of Lamas, not the Empire. She had already made arrangements with the person guarding the border of Lamas.

Afterward, at the gateway from Lamas to Yalden, they were scheduled to meet and join Joanna's men.

Everything will go smoothly.

Now, as long as she doesn't miss the ship that's waiting for her!

“Ah!”

Kanna can see that ship!

She saw a small boat with a boatman on it.

Kanna ran like crazy and fell once. She felt hot as if her legs were on fire. But ignoring her pain, she immediately got up and ran.

"Huh, oh oh..."

And finally, she arrived. Kanna climbed onto her stomach, almost falling over.

"Let's go, hurry, let's go quickly..."

The boatman began rowing without saying a word.

As the ship began to move, Kanna was so overcome with relief that she almost fainted.

Succeeded.

Succeeded!

But Kanna didn't have the spirit to enjoy it.

Perhaps because she was running beyond her limit, her heart felt like it was going to explode and she felt nauseous. It felt like the world was spinning.

Kanna lay face down on her stomach and hugged her luggage tightly.

She was out of breath and barely came to her senses after a while.

And then she slowly got up.

"Ah...."

Meanwhile, the ship was already quite far away from the island.

Kanna smiled faintly and stared at the small island. It must have happened somewhere on that island by now.

'I hope everything goes well.'

Her doll.

She probably did exactly what Kanna taught her.

Among ancient alchemy, there was a method of creating human-like dolls from clay.

Fortunately, there was plenty of material on the beach, as there was dirt all over the place.

Kanna looked down at her bandaged palms. Making a doll was an advanced technique and required a significant amount of blood.

'Such a sacrifice is nothing."

This much blood can be shed.

Kanna smiled broadly.

With this, she is out of Kalen and out of Addis!

"Haha..."

Kanna couldn't hold back and burst into small laughter. And that moment,

"Do you like it?"

In an instant, a voice was heard.

Kanna almost screamed.

"Do you like it?"

It was a very familiar voice.

And it was heard right behind her. From the boatman rowing this boat.

Kanna turned around very slowly. And only then did she properly see the boatman in her eyes.

It was a man wearing a straw hat.

The moment he raised his head, green eyes flashed under his hat.

They ran into each other.

“Ah.”

The corners of her mouth relaxed. A moan that was neither a sigh nor an exclamation came from Kanna's mouth.

"Orsini..."
