TVTLQ - Chapter 59

The Villainess Wants To Live Quietly

"It's family. Still, seeing the face...You know it's for the kid's good that I don't show up."

The woman closed her mouth. However, there was sadness in the eyes looking at the man.

The man stood up, holding the dagger that was next to him.

"I think we'll have to dismantle it before tonight. Sleep first."

The woman wanted to say something more, but the man pretended not to notice her gaze. The man came out with limping steps.

He was sitting on a large rock and smoothing his right leg. The limp pant legs fluttered in the wind like clothes hanging on a clothesline.

"Sigh."

The moment the man sighed and looked up at the sky, a meteor fell from the sky. They say that if you see a shooting star, something good will happen. The man sneered skeptically as to whether there would ever be a day when he would be free from this mess.

After Rosenia left the Princess's villa with the Prince.

Blanc, who was left alone, belatedly left there in a carriage.

"Forget everything you saw here today. Keep in mind that since you are the one who came with Rosenia, I am letting you go gently."

Before he left, the Princess gave Blanc a stern warning. It was so brutal that skin grew on his arms.

Not only did he meet the first Princess of the empire, but he also met her fiancé, the Prince of the Kingdom of Borsha.

"Isn't this a dream...?"

The fact that he had encountered such big figures felt like a lie.

Blanc returned to the dressmaker's shop, almost half out of his wits. But someone was standing in front of the dressmaker. Just then, the clouds that filled the sky cleared, and the moonlight shone down.

Blanc's eyes widened after confirming the other person's identity.

"Mu, Muse?"

"Good evening, Mr. Blanc."

It was Dominic Willock, Blanc's inner muse and Rosenia's business partner.

Blanc, startled, hurriedly ran to him.

Dominic folded the corners of his eyes and smiled.

"I see where you are going. You haven't been here since evening."

"Huh! Have you been waiting for a long time?"

"What... It's okay."

It doesn't look okay at all.

Blanc resisted the urge to tear out his hair. How dare he make his precious muse wait!

Dominic was the one who suddenly came to him without any contact, but that had nothing to do with it. The Muse was looking for him, so what's the big deal?

Blanc said, fidgeting.

"That is... I'm really sorry. I have some business to do with Rosenia."

“With Vice President?”

"She said she would be going on a business trip starting tomorrow."

Dominic snorted.

"Was there somewhere she had to go urgently?"

Blanc rolled his eyes at his question. What happened today was definitely a secret.

The Princess herself warned him. Even if it wasn't for the Princess's warning, he felt it would be dangerous if he continued to speak arbitrarily.

But his heart breaks when he lies to the Muse...

"That... I delivered the clothes."

Conflicted between his reason that he should never say anything and his instinct to answer Muse's question, he ended up giving an ambiguous answer.

In any case, it wasn't a lie, nor was it telling an important truth. Dominic's smile grew deeper at his answer.

"Along with Vice President?"

"Oh, yeah... That is... Because I am the guest of the Vice President...?"

"Okay. Thank you for your hard work until late at night."

Fortunately, Dominic didn't ask who the other person was. It was time for Blanc to sigh in relief.

"But it's a little like that."

"Yes?"

"Didn't Mr. Blanc often show me his designs? You said that I am a source of inspiration for Mr. Blanc and that you would like me to wear it. But Mr. Blanc was secretly making clothes for someone other than me."

Dominic whispered, lowering his eyelashes pitifully.

"I'm a little sad."

Blanc's mouth opened. He said that his muse is upset with him right now.

Blanc jumped up from his seat.

"My muse will always be you! It's just because it's work!"

"Then can you at least show me the design?"

"Yes?"

Blanc rolled his eyes at the sudden request. The clothes delivered today had a unique design.

Not only because it was a wedding dress, but also because it was clothing for someone with a prosthetic leg.

Can he show him this?

"It makes me upset to think that there are designs by Mr. Blanc that I don't know about."

However, the moment Dominic spoke pitifully while using the beauty pageant, all of Blanc's agony disappeared.

"Let me show you!"

It's hard to see Muse sad. He swallowed and said.

"Please come inside first."

Blanc is just showing you a sketch, and it's not directly related to the people he met today, so it's okay. With that in mind, Blanc brought Dominic into the dressmaker's shop.

He couldn't bear to see the faint smile Dominic gave him.

We rode in a carriage for over a day. Surprisingly, Victor Cerba stayed within the territory of the empire. It seems that he thought it would be easy to hide since it is the country with the most people and the largest territory. And it was the right decision.

In fact, he lived for 9 years without anyone finding out that he was alive. When we arrived near the place we had already identified, a dense forest appeared. The road had already been closed for a long time.

Eventually, the driver who was driving the carriage instead of the coachman approached us and informed us of the situation.

"I think it will be difficult to get in by carriage anymore."

"Then I will walk."

The Prince got out of the carriage.

The prince, I, and the Prince's two guards began to enter the forest. The forest was rough, but there was still something like a path.

The Prince was silent as he walked down a path barely wide enough for one person to walk on. The further I went inside, the more nervous I felt.

We kept walking.

Then, at some point, a strange smell emerged. It smelled exactly like stew being cooked at home. A very small noise was carried by the gently blowing wind.

The Prince clenched his fists.

And finally, we reached our destination.

"You have a house."

The Prince muttered.

Laughter, presumed to be children's, came through the half-open window. It was clear that someone was living there.

It was the moment when the Prince took a step forward with a flushed face.

"Prince! It's dangerous!"

Shhh

The Prince's guard knight urgently struck down an arrow that flew from somewhere. The Prince was startled and took a step back. At the same time, he stepped on something.

It was a trap device hidden under a pile of fallen leaves.

"This!"

Arrows rained down from all directions at once. The knights swung their swords. The Prince shouted at me.

"You....! How dare you set a trap like this!"

“No, no!”

I didn't do it!

Victor installed it. It seems like he has been avoiding people's approaches like this. No, we will all die before that.

"Victor Cherba! Prince Arsan has come to see you!"

I screamed at the top of my voice. He was obviously watching us from not far away. And as if to prove my point, the rain of arrows stopped like magic.

"Huh, huh."

The knights were breathing hard. However, they did not relax their body, perhaps because he thought the attack could continue again.

The arrow stopped, but the opponent still did not appear. During the standoff, I shouted again.

"Prince Arsan Borsha has come to see you! Show up! And the Prince..."

"Uh, huh?"

"Quickly take off that robe."

At my words, the Prince hastily took off his robe. His face was revealed and the forest became quieter than before. Even the noises of daily life inside the small cabin seemed to have disappeared.

A moment later, a strange, clanking sound of footsteps rang out. However, rather than coming towards this direction, it seemed to be moving further away.

Arsan ran out as if he sensed something.

"Brother! It's Arsan!"
