SPMB - Chapter 131
My Body Has Been Possessed By Someone
Kallen went to Orsini in anger and anxiety.
"Brother!"
Orsini was lying sprawled out in the center of the gym. As soon as Kalen arrived, there were beads of sweat on his body, as if he had been training hard.
"Brother, what is this? My sister disappeared!"
Orsini frowned in annoyance.
"That's literally it. She left because she didn't want to come to Addis."
"Does that make sense? There's no way she's leaving!"
Kalen glared at Orsini with suspicious eyes.
"Probably, brother did something foolish to my sister."
Then Orsini opened his closed eyes. He stared at Kallen and responded.
"What nonsense?"
"Yes."
"What is that."
"You probably know that."
"I don't know what kind of rotten imagination you're imagining, but I didn't even touch her body."
"Then why did she leave? Hasn't brother used violence again?"
"Are you out of your mind? Where can I hit her?"
Orsini must have been embarrassed even after saying this, so he kept his mouth shut. Then he stretched out his right hand and looked at it. He muttered absentmindedly.
"Shall I cut it?"
"Yes? What do you mean by that?"
But instead of answering, Orsini lowered his right hand. Then he spoke as if nothing had happened.
"Kalen, whether you believe it or not, I didn't do anything to her."
"Then why....."
"I don't know. There must be a reason why she doesn't want to come."
Orsini smiled bitterly as he said that.
For a moment, Kalen was convinced. It was clear that something was going on between his sister and brother. There's something he doesn't know.
That poured firewood into Kalen's anger.
After all, he should have followed.
'Even if it meant canceling the engagement, I should have followed her.'
Kalen's fingertips were trembling due to bitter regret.
Due to Princess Joanna's visit, he was unable to follow Kanna. He entrusted the role of witness to the annulment of marriage to Orsini.
To her, he's the only one.
There is only him.
He is the only person his sister relies on, and he's the only person she likes....
But why doesn't she come back to him?
".... I should have found her."
Kalen said that without even realizing it. In a fit of anger. No, maybe seriously.
"I should have caught her. Even by force. No matter what my sister says, I have to catch her first..."
Dizzy.
Kalen held his head. Worry about Kanna, and a strange anger, tangled into his tangled mess.
'Shit.'
To have a headache, Kalen balled his shaking hands into fists. Yes, he was angry.
To himself for not following Kanna. To Orsini who missed her. And to Kanna.
To the sister who never came back to him.
"You crazy bastard."
Orsini clicked his tongue as if he had read Kalen's thoughts. He got up and stood in front of Kalen.
"Forcibly arresting a child who left of her own free will? Are you telling me to trap her like prey?"
Okay. Even if he has to do that.
The moment Kalen finally realized his true feelings, his pounding heart suddenly calmed down.
It wasn't particularly surprising. In a way, it was natural.
"Kalen, you are the only one for me."
It was planned from the moment Kanna said that. He must have confidence.
"Yes. I had to do something like that."
The next moment Orsini roughly grabbed Kallen by the collar.
"Watch what you say, Kalen Addis. She's not an animal. She has the right to leave whenever she wants. Do not compare your noble sister to animals or anything like that."
He responded coldly.
"But when you do something foolish, you have to stop it somehow. This is for you."
"That's terrible."
Orsini shook Kalen away in disgust.
"I guess this is for you, Kalen."
However, Kalen's expression did not change at all and he straightened his wrinkled collar.
"Of course, you won't understand. The bond between my sister and me is so deep that you can't even imagine."
"Is it so."
Orsini laughed as if that was so funny.
“The illusion is pitiful, Kalen Addis. Kanna to you...”
But it doesn't end.
Orsini gritted his teeth. He barely managed to swallow the rushing words into his throat.
"Shit."
Then he passed by Kalen.
Kalen looked at his back with curious eyes, but soon put it out of his mind.
For the next several days, Kalen focused on searching for Kanna. Princess Joanna visited him a few times, but there was no time to meet her. He completely forgot about his engagement.
Joanna watched Kalen in silence.
'Strange.'
Something is strange.
'Strange.. That's not like Lord Kalen'
***
And a few days later.
"Sister!"
As soon as Kanna returned to Addis, Kalen came running out. He hugged Kanna tightly.
In an instant, a sense of relief came over him.
"Sister, I was worried."
Kalen thinks he is finally free now.
Kalen was freed from the agony of feeling like he was on fire. He took Kanna out of his arms and examined her from head to toe.
"Sister, are you okay? Are you okay?"
"I'm okay."
Thank God.
Kalen was greatly relieved. And he immediately sent a sharp look behind her.
"But who is that person?"
Kanna thought for a moment. How should she introduce Raphael?
"My... He's a priest."
Kanna didn't want to say he was a servant.
"Yes?"
"My personal priest. He listens to my prayers, hears my confession, and gives me blessings..."
"But isn't he an apostate priest?"
"So, he is my personal priest. Not only does he not belong to the Great Temple, but a priest is a priest."
Kanna spoke firmly.
"Raphael will stay in this mansion as my priest. Father gave permission, so don't worry."
"Of course, if you want it, of course."
Kalen answered obediently.
That's not important now. Why on earth did she decide to leave home? Kalen wanted to hear why.
"Sister. If you don't mind, please take a moment. I'd like to talk."
"Later, later."
Kanna laughed, hiding her annoyance tightly.
“Later, Kalen.”
"...... All right. If you need anything, please let me know."
"Okay"
After giving a rough answer, Kanna headed to her room with Raphael.
And Kalen quietly watched her back.
***
From the looks of it, Kalen doesn't seem to know anything.
'Did Orsini say anything?"
After she sat him down on the sofa, she spoke thoughtfully.
"Raphael, don't call me master in front of people. Don't even pretend to be my servant."
"Yes."
He didn't even ask why. He seemed like someone who was ready to follow anything she said.
'Oh my God. He's so nice."
He seemed like a gentle sheep, so Kanna felt sorry for him.
The daughter of a divine spirit was enraged by the fact that he was kind just for that reason, so she responded harshly.
Now that she thinks about it, she thinks she was really angry at the time.
'Why was I so angry? I feel stupid.'
Kanna decided to treat him kindly from now on.
Kanna took out her jewelry box from her dressing room and held it out to him.
"Raphael, can you change everything here into gold?"
"Yes."
"Thank you."
She never knew when she might run away. So she had to prepare in advance.
Kanna had a premonition about this incident.
Her father won't allow her to leave her home. But Kanna did not give up. She plans to find any way to get out of Addis.
But what if she fails? At that time, she will really run away.
'I don't want to go to the Great God Shrine."
The spirit told Kanna to come visit him at any time, but she didn't want to go there.
It may be her intention to go, but getting out will never be easy. Kanna has no intention of belonging to such a tight, closed group.
And above all.
'I don't want to meet the spirit again.'
The spirit.
The man who looks exactly like her. Her own biological father.
Why?
Kanna feels reluctant without knowing why. It was almost an instinctive premonition.
'The spirit said that my mother and father hate each other."
Kanna couldn't believe everything he said.
Father - No, Kanna wishes Alessandro would open his mouth, but that stubborn, stubborn man won't let her talk.
'The request to Prince Argon must succeed."
Kanna asked Argon to investigate Alessandro. That was the only hope for now.
"If you're okay."
While I was lost in thought, Raphael spoke first.
"I will stay somewhere else."
Uh?
Kanna didn't understand what he said right away.
"If you need me, please hang a blue handkerchief by the window. I will come to you immediately."
"Oh, well. Okay."
"Can I go?"
"Huh."
"Okay then."
As Raphael went out the door, he ran into Leah, a maid who came in just in time. Leqh stared blankly at Raphael's back, then quickly shook her head.
"I brought you two cups of tea here...The priest is gone."
"Huh."
"But that priest... Oh no. It's nothing, sorry."
Leah hurriedly left the room with a red face.
Kanna was shocked. Always a thorough maid, this is the first time Kanna has seen Leah do something like that!
'I was mesmerized by it for a moment before too."
What can she say, Raphael was beyond handsome and strangely sensual. Should Kanna say that he is difficult to take her eyes off of?
'If he does missionary work with that face, he'll be able to attract a lot of believers.'
Kanna sipped her tea while thinking about useless things.
But where is Raphael going? Didn't he just want to be by her side?
Kqnnq was taken aback because it was unexpected. So she couldn't ask him where he went or where he usually stayed.
'Well, Raphael probably has a private life too.'
Kanna pouted her lips and looked at the package of letters that Leah had given her. Most of them were party invitations. And...
'This is from Prince Argon.'
For a moment, Kanna came to her senses. Kanna adjusted her posture, sat down, and opened her letter.
<I found out some great secrets.>
A sentence that jumps out from the first line.
There was no subject, but she knew he was talking about Alessandro Addis. She asked him to find out about Alessandro some time ago.
<It's so incredibly confidential that I could never write it in a letter. Mom would be shocked too. Let's meet and talk. It would be nice to have a Great Purification Day party in a few days.>
Kanna's heart was pounding.
<Mom will faint from shock too. >
This sentence was a signal that he had found out information about her mother!
<As a taste, I will tell you the lightest and most insignificant secret first.>
<That person has a mistress now.>
Mistress?
Kanna was in a daze as she read the sentence and then she screamed.
"My father has a mistress?"
