SPMB - Chapter 130

SPMB - Chapter 130

My Body Has Been Possessed By Someone

Her father came.

Those words were hard to believe.

As for Kalen, he didn't know that his father would come to catch her himself.

"What if I don't want to meet him?"

Claude shrugged his shoulders.

"He didn't say anything to force me to bring him here. So you can do whatever you want."

No, that can't be true. Her father came all the way here himself, so there is no way he would go without getting anything. And then he won't be this quiet.

Kanna looked back at Raphael.

"I'm going to meet my father. Don't follow me this time."

"All right."

After saying that and walking away, Claude followed behind and grumbled.

"What? Why are you reporting to that priest one by one?"

"Reporting? I just told him my choice."

"So why are you doing that to that priest? What on earth is your relationship? Could you please explain it to me?"

"I will never do it. If I told you, you would run straight to Kalen and tell him everything."

"I won't. So just a little bit for me."

"If you keep lying, I'll kick you."

"Yes. Sorry."

As we walked and chatted casually, we reached the place where the carriage was. But Kanna's father got out of the carriage and sat down at the base of the tree.

Kanna stopped without realizing it.

For a moment, she thought he was someone else. It was a different outfit from usual.

Alessandro, who had always been dressed in a tight suit, was now wearing a loose-fitting silk shirt and comfortable leather boots like a shepherd on a ranch.

He even held an apple in his hand that he had just taken a bite of.

What is that apple?

"What is that apple....?"

Claude muttered as if he felt the same way. And soon he noticed that he was sitting under the apple tree.

"You couldn't possibly have climbed a tree, right?"

"Is that possible...?"

"But, Your Excellency, it is unlikely that you picked up the fruit that fell on the ground and ate it."

While he was reasoning about the apple, his gaze fell directly on Kanna.

Kanna and Claude were stung at the same time. Kanna walked closer to him.

"I heard you called me."

Her father got up. The leaves that were attached to his red hair fell gently.

At that moment, for some reason, a divine spirit passed by. A spirit who still has the face of a young man even though he has lived for over 500 years.

Will her father still look like a 20-year-old until he dies?

"By carriage."

"Ah yes."

Kanna followed him into the carriage. As she sat down, she immediately regretted it.

'I should have just walked and talked.'

As they faced each other in a narrow space, she felt double the pressure.

Why on earth does he look so huge?

In reality, he had a similar physique to Orsini and Kalen, but he always looked like a mountain.

Kanna was tired of this feeling of being completely crushed with no way to resist, but there was nothing she could do about it. Her fingertips tingle and her lips feel like they are burning.

As always, it was the same this time as well.

"..."

There was a heavy silence inside the carriage.

When Kanna's breathing became suffocated and distorted, Alessandro opened his mouth.

“Kanna.”

"Yes."

"Let's go back home."

"..."

"If you want, you can bring the apostate priest who helped you escape."

Instead of answering, Kanna looked at him quietly. And she spoke carefully.

"I met the spirit."

"Okay?"

"Yes. He said something strange."

Her tongue feels dry. Kanna said, swallowing her saliva.

"Would you like to hear what he said?"

"It's obvious."

Alessandro leaned against the back of the carriage. He muttered sarcastically.

"I thought he said you weren't my daughter."

There was even a hint of irritation on Alessandro's face as he said that.

"That is correct."

"... You are the daughter of the spirit."

Kanna was dazed.

She had absolutely no thoughts.

Kanna stared at him in shock and then lowered her head.

Since when?

Before she knew it, she was holding both hands tightly. Everyone looked nervous.

The moment Kanna realized it, she felt annoyed.

How can he say something so casually? She was almost in a panic for several days!

"Is that all?"

Fierce anger heats her head. Kanna raised her head and glared at him.

"The truth I've believed my whole life turns out to be a lie. Is that all?"

"Are you angry?"

"Are you angry? Are you calling that a question now? Of course!"

Kanna burst into tears, unable to hold back her anger.

Kanna shouted, stamping her feet on the floor of the carriage without fear.

"I've been deceived for 26 years, how can I not be angry?"

Huft. Huft.

Kanna was out of breath.

She only spoke a few words quickly, but the fact that the other person was Alessandro Addis meant that she had to give it her all.

Silence fell again.

Alessandro stared silently at Kanna, who was shaking her shoulders. Those are such dry eyes...

Kanna's heart sank at that desert-like face.

Kanna is so angry, but it doesn't reach him at all.

"Nothing changes."

He said dryly.

"You grew up as the eldest daughter of Addis. You will continue to live like that."

"..."

"Even if you say you are not my blood, it does not change the fact that you are a member of Addis, so..."

He said firmly.

"Stay in Addis. You can't go anywhere without my permission."

She was shocked. Kanna smiled crookedly.

"Your Excellency the Duke of Addis, I could choose the Grand Temple."

God gave her a choice.

He told her to come visit him at any time and that he would wait for it. So, if she wants, she can abandon Addis and live as a Saintess.

That's why that man's confidence was laughable.

"You?"

However, it was Alessandro who was laughing.

"Kanna Addis, you must return home."

Those strong words make her spirit of victory soar. Kanna stared into his eyes and answered clearly.

"I will go wherever I want."

"You promised me, right? If I allow divorce, you will leave the matter of your residence entirely to me."

"That's a promise I made when I believed you were my father."

Although she was recklessly rebelling, she actually had some intention of returning to Addis.

There were so many things she left there.

Everything she had achieved so far was in Addis, so she had to take it with her even if she left.

Still, she doesn't like it.

She just doesn't like it.

She doesn't want to simply answer, ‘I will.'

Alessandro sighed as Kanna became unusually stubborn. He rubbed his forehead. It was a gesture that showed his deep fatigue.

“Kanna.”

"Yes."

"Did I come to persuade you?"

Kanna was speechless for a moment.

Persuade...... Of course not. Of course.

There is no word more distant from that person than that.

He probably didn't come to scold her or appease her. He came to give orders.

The moment she realized this, a feeling of helplessness pressed down on her entire body.

Anyway, since her father came to visit, running away was a no-go. Besides, didn't she intend to go back to Addis anyway? But...

"Tell me the truth."

But why does she not want to follow suit like this?

"Please tell me why you raised me and what your relationship was with my mother."

"We probably talked about it last time too. If you want to get what you want, you have to pay for it."

He continued speaking slowly.

"Or you can stay by my side and act as a detective. If you do that, you might come across a clue that will answer your curiosity."

Kanna clenched her fists and glared at him.

"You know what? His Excellency Alessandro, Duke of Addis, I hate you. It's so horrible I can't stand it."

But his eyes do not waver. He just stares as if to keep talking.

She resented that. It scratched her nerves like crazy.

No matter how many stones she throws at him or how hard she tries to hurt him, he doesn't even flinch.

As if she was nothing to him. As if she were just dust. As if she were meaningless.....

"You are the worst villain I know."

Then the corners of Alessandro's mouth rose slightly. A faint smile flashed across his face, seemingly in visible, and then disappeared in an instant.

"I'm sorry you found out now."

***

Joanna Friedrich was the first Princess of the Kingdom of Yalden. She was the fiancee of Kalen Addis.

To be exact, they're planning on getting engaged.

In the meantime, they discussed marriage through letters, and this time she came to see him in person to coordinate the details.

It was an engagement, but it was a transaction and an important contract between the Frederick royal family and the Duke of Addis.

Joanna was very satisfied with this engagement despite the calculations of numbers and fortunes. Even in Yalden, Kalen Addis was famous for his outstanding appearance and abilities. She honestly thought she was incredibly lucky to have gotten such a man.

"What is it?"

Joanna pushed Kallen onto her bed. She climbed on top of him and smiled mischievously.

"What do you think I'm doing?"

"We're not even engaged yet, Princess. It is too early to celebrate the first night."

Oh my God.

Joanna burst out laughing.

Even at a moment like this, he says boring things with such a cold face.

He had the attitude of a model student, but it was strangely more stimulating. Kalen was a refreshing type for Joanna, who had tried all kinds of men in Yalden.

"You don't seem to know, but the women of Yalden Kingdom lack patience. Especially if there is something they want, they actively pursue it like this."

Joanna grabbed the cravat wrapped around Kalen's neck and untied it. Then Kalen frowned as if annoyed.

"Princess, my day is not over yet. I have to attend a meeting, so please make way."

A firm voice without a trace of agitation. Even hers seemed to bother him.

Joanna was shocked.

Even after going this far, there was no man who didn't fall for it...

'Am I behind on a meeting or something?'

Joanna was offended and got off his body. Although she actively pushed for it, she has no hobby of forcing people who don't like it.

"Then please have a peaceful night, Princess."

Kalen said goodbye without changing his expression. And he gets out without any regrets.

"That's too harsh."

Okay.

A moan comes out automatically.

A man who flatly refuses a night out with a beautiful woman and instead attends a meeting. How on earth can he take it down?

'Hmm, this might be surprisingly fun.'

How would a man like that change if he fell in love with a woman and lost his mind?

Joanna was curious.

At that time, a strange sound was heard outside the door. It was Kalen's shout.

Joanna quickly opened the door and stuck her head out. And she was surprised. Kalen Addis's always straight face was completely distorted!

"My sister disappeared? Can you even say that now?"

The butler shrugged his shoulders. Kalen shouted.

"Assemble the knights immediately. No, no. I will go myself!"

"Well, then the meeting is..."

Then Kallen glared coldly at the butler.

"My sister disappeared."

She felt hot anger with each word. Joanna couldn't believe her ears. His voice was full of heat that she never thought she would hear from Kalen.

"Is she that important?"
