TMTNO - Chapter 1

"I love you."

He was smiling brighter than ever.

The scenery was so unrealistic that I was speechless for a moment.

After coming to my senses, I opened my mouth to ask if it was okay for him to laugh like that.

But time was running out, and I couldn't ask anything. I didn't even have time to form a proper sentence.

All I could do was shout his name.

You, who always answered my words with affection, didn't respond for the first time that day.

So you left, and I couldn't understand.

Because I've never written an ending like this.

But unfortunately, I couldn't catch the person who left, so after much thought, I came up with an alternative.

I am the author, the creator of this world.

So let me do what I can.

After preparing a lot of clean paper, ink, and a quill pen, I started working.

My hands were shaking, and the ink dripped out. I cleared the smudged paper and took out a new one.

“Huh.”

I took a deep breath and picked up the quill.

I wrote the first sentence without hesitation because I had decided on it in my mind.

- This story is left for two people.

Square square.

The sound of pen brushing against paper filled the room, and I finished the book for days without sleeping or eating.

The title is "The Life of Retri Extra".

“Should I write down the names of the ‘two people’ or not...”

I thought about it for a long time, but in the end I decided not to write it.

I put on the bookshelf the one and only book in the world that I wrote and completed by hand.

The cover looked just like any other book, so I couldn't tell what it was about unless I took it out and looked at it.

This book will fall into the hands of someone who really needs it, or someone who is destined to read it.

As I went outside my room for the first time in a while, I saw a sky so clear and green that it was almost overwhelming.

A world that was clearly thought to be a fantasy, but has now become reality.

This is the record of where the whole story ended.

"Hi."

The man who lit up the campus greeted me. I tried to hide my nervousness and greeted him back.

"Hello!"

“Did you prepare well for today’s presentation?”

“Of course!”

“I’ll look forward to it.”

A senior in our department who is arguably the most popular person in our department and even in school.

My senior smiled brightly. He was so upright and had such a kind smile.

“I have to print something, so I’ll go first. See you in the classroom.”

“Yes, be careful?”

As soon as I bowed and turned around, I found myself muttering to myself.

“Perfect, perfect, perfect.”

He's handsome, a culinary genius, and very affectionate. There's even a rumor that he's a wealthy businessman.

There really is someone who has hit all my tastes.

If there were a modern-day Prince, it would be him. He was so perfect. A returning student in the same department, his nickname was "Prince."

He is tall, and because he is of mixed race, he has flawless white skin, jet-black hair, and mysterious pale blue eyes.

From the high nose to the red lips that look like they were painted with a brush, everything is perfect.

What surprised me most was that my senior resembled one of the main characters in a novel I had written.

I was so shocked to see that although the hair and eye colors were different, the locations of the teardrops and moles on the back of the hand were the same.

I finally thought I was going crazy.

I thought I was seeing things.

But the senior was a real person. Truly, unbelievably.

The presentation went well, and as soon as class was over, someone stopped me from going home to sleep.

“Hmm? Senior?”

“Want to eat together? Since you worked hard, I’ll buy you some.”

Deep breaths, one, two, three.

“Of course.”

I don't know why you're buying me food when we're not even in the same group, but if you suggest it, I can at least drink tap water.

Perhaps because I had dinner with a senior who resembled the main character in my novel, I forgot about the all-nighter the previous day and took out an old relic.

“It’s still fun to watch again.”

I read the novel "Let's Live Together," which was written as soon as I became an adult, and is full of the emotions of a middle schooler who still hasn't gotten over his second year of middle school syndrome.

It wasn't an official publication, but a bundle of papers printed out as a souvenir.

A reverse harem novel with multiple male protagonists in a 19+ setting.

The character that the senior resembles is none other than the crown prince.

He is the only heir to the empire, and is one of the male protagonists who is crazy about the female protagonist and bites and sucks her.

“Sigh, even looking at it now, it all looks good.”

Since it was written to suit each and every person's taste, it's only natural that you'll like it.

“I wrote it myself, but it was well written.”

Clap clap clap.

As I was about to close the book, shedding a tear of emotion, a sudden flash of light erupted.

“Huh...!”

This was my last memory from my world.

A light burst out from the book, and I closed my eyes without realizing it. When I opened them, I was surprised to find myself in a field of grass.

On a cliff, surrounded by oval-shaped boulders as tall as me, I stood there for a while, dazed by the strong sea breeze.

It was even more shocking when I moved from place to place and reached a place with a lot of people.

What are these strange races and villages?

For several days, I wandered around the city like a ghost.

I realized that the country I was in had a unique name, 'Ilarikavatortika', and that I was currently in its capital, 'Katyrtova'.

I felt like I was inside a novel I wrote.

Once I figured out where this world was, it became easier to respond.

What made people feel especially reassured was that they knew how to get back.

First of all, I don't know why I came here, but let's go back to the original world!

Since I'm here anyway, I'll take a look at the world I created and try my best to use this face!

The me here was similar to me, yet different. It felt like I had been pulled into this world as a version of myself I wanted to be.

Big eyes, high nose, long arms and legs, great body!

“I absolutely love it!”

Sadly, these were the first words I shouted when I looked in the mirror.

What surprised me more than the fact that I became prettier was that there were no characters in this book that resembled me.

At first, I was terrified and didn't know what to do, but soon I understood. I guess it was Extra 1!

I had to name it myself, and I didn't know anyone around me, but I somehow managed to adapt because it was the town I had imagined.

I thought there would be some good points since it was a world I created, but there were no buffs at all, so I had to find a place to live myself.

I wandered around town looking for work, and luckily, I managed to get a job at a small general store.

“Damn it.”

For a moment, I forgot where I was and muttered loudly.

“Oh my, Miss Retri. You shouldn’t use such harsh language.”

The boss, who had the most menacing appearance in the city but the most beautiful speech, made a remark.

He made excuses one after another, saying that if you use harsh language without reason, you will get a pay cut.

“I’m sorry, sir. I had to stop because I was reminded of something terrible.”

“Oh my, what’s going on?”

I chose my words, recalling what had happened three months ago. Then I forced a sad expression on my face.

Because I can't afford to have my salary cut from my meager salary.

“I feel like I’ve been caught with socks that haven’t been washed in a month by the most handsome man I know.”

“What? To a handsome guy?”

The boss, who had a handsome face and was sincere, was more frightened than I was.

"Yes."

Wouldn't that book just be left in the room? Since I'm here, of course, I couldn't put it away.

If my parents or younger brother come over and see me...

I don't know how long it's been since I came to this world, but let's say a report is made to the police.

My senior may have come to the police station as a witness, as he was the last person to see me before my family.

If the younger brother says, “This is all that’s left in my sister’s room!”, then my senior will probably read that book too, right?

The novel I wrote was interesting, but it had no answers.

The male leads, the Crown Prince, the prime minister, the knight commander, and the magician, are all entangled with the female protagonist, who has traveled through dimensions to come to this world.

They're all crazy enough to be obsessed with the heroine, to the point of confining her. Is there a difference between being beautifully crazy and being insanely crazy?

The captive heroine spends her days being held captive by men, spending passionate nights with them. She desperately seeks to return to her world, and to do so, she searches for a "door" that will take her to another world.

A lot of time passes as you spend the night with the supporting characters you meet on your way to the door.

It is a simple and enjoyable story about a female protagonist who eventually succeeds in escaping this world and returns to her original world, where she meets a new boyfriend and lives happily ever after.

That's really the whole story.

A book with this kind of plot would be like a sock that hasn't been washed for a month to a senior.

“Oh my! What did he say about that?”

“After that...”

A wave of sadness suddenly rose up in my mind. Perhaps my senior had forgotten who I was? Or perhaps he'd lost all affection for me after reading that book.

“I think it’s over. I can’t contact you.”

I pretended to wipe away tears that hadn't even formed. I know I can't contact you, but, indeed, I can't reach you, right?

“Oh my, I’m going to swear! I admit it!”

Fortunately, there was no salary cut.

Working hours passed slowly, and before dinnertime, the boss was making a fuss and then busily preparing to leave.

"I have some business to attend to, so I'll be back. Miss Retri, you can close the shop when you have time."

“Yes, sir. Have a nice day.”

The owner, clearly attending a local business owner's meeting, put on a strong front. He must have been so happy to be called "Boss."

I think it's more important to work hard to grow this store, which is best left as is, but I won't be working there for long.

And what could be better than having your boss leave his desk like this?

“Phew...”

But I couldn't help but sigh uncontrollably.
