PLEMF - Chapter 18

"Oh my God, Master Theo!"

Suddenly, I heard Dorian's voice.

Theodore's hand managed to fall from me.

He looked at the nanny and asked calmly.

"Huh?"

Dorian quickly came over and hugged me as if to take me away.

Then she carefully stroked my cheek, which must have been reddened.

"If you pull your cheeks like that, you'll be in trouble! Where are you, an ordinary person? Bruises!"

Theodore replied with a frustrated expression.

"But I like her."

Then he asked me.

"Did you get sick, Liana?"

I stiffened with my lips open again.

It hurt, but it hurt so much...

I can't say so much when I look into those sad eyes!

"Oh... woom."

Dorian clicked her tongue when I closed my mouth.

"Oh my God, I didn't mean to say this, but really... Master! Don't touch her again. You can't say that your cheeks hurt even if they are so open! You didn't bully her when I wasn't there, did you?"

Dorian...

I shook my head at the nanny who was making the wrong point for a long time.

"Spread it out."

Theodore, who was frustrated, was displeased.

"I didn't bully her. Dorian, don't you know me that much? I don't bully cute things."

I thought it was absurd, but Dorian nodded her head in agreement.

"Well, that's right."

What?

After a strange conversation, Dorian hurriedly brought a plate of snacks that she had left on the floor.

"I wondered why it took so long to get into the new room, so when I went there, it was empty. I asked the servants to come to visit me, but I didn't know you were in the library."

Theodore replied, picking up a plum.

"Liana loves books."

Yes? Is that how it works?

Puzzled, Dorian quickly clapped her hands for joy.

"Such a brilliant youngest baby! You were always lonely because you were so close to your brothers, but I'm really happy."

Theodore chuckled.

"I'm glad. Dorian."

***

I thought the heavy door of the library was going to open again, and I heard a clear voice.

"What are you all doing here?"

The library, which was the pride of Halias, was now as busy as a market, but Dorian smiled as if she didn't care.

"Master Shion, if you haven't had a snack, come here and eat some fruit."

Little Shion approached with a disgruntled stride and slumped down.

"I've already eaten it all. Caliph gave a special order to Beth to chase me around and feed me. Hah..."

Dorian and Theodore laughed in front of the little boy, who sighed so that the ground was gone.

"She may seem cold, but she's so kind."

Dorian spoke, and Shion was furious.

"Friendly? Is this? You can't stand the fact that Halias' son is smaller than everyone else!"

"It can't be."

Theodore seriously interjected.

"He did it because he knew you wanted to hold the wooden sword. You're the one who begs him to teach you swordsmanship, aren't you?"

Shion continued to question with his lips puffy.

"But Caliph doesn't want to teach me! He doesn't have time for that!"

There are so many things to learn and do as the next head of the family."

While Dorian defended Caliph, Theodore parted his lips as if he remembered something.

"He said that a tutor will come this summer. My father will give me a swordsmanship teacher next year?"

"Yes..."

Shion replied weakly, and Theodore smiled.

"Then why don't you do this? I'll teach you during the vacation."

"Brother Theo? Are you serious?"

"But I can't graduate from the academy early like Caliph. He said I would teach you every vacation. Only during vacation."

"I love it, brother!"

Shion jumped to his feet and shouted again.

"My father gave me a wooden sword and told me to keep it until next year's class. They used it when I was my age! I want to go and get it right away!"

Theodore chuckled.

"If you want that, bring your wooden sword to the training room."

Shion asked back with a puzzled expression.

"Really? A training room? Can I really go in there?"

Theodore placed a large palm on the crown of Shion's head and scattered it in a mess.

"You can go in. Shion Andreas Halias, you are the son of Halias."

Shion ran excitedly, and Theodore slowly cleared his seat.

Then he patted me on the head and left the library.

After they disappeared, I put down the plums I was eating.

"Dodian."

"Yes, baby."

"I want to follow you."

"In the training room?"

Dorian asked again, puzzled, and quickly added.

"Baby, Master Theo is kind and kind, but when he holds a sword, it's a different game. He's the youngest sword master in the Empire. You don't know much about it, right?"

I didn't just know about Theodore's skills, but I tilted my head as if I didn't know.

Dorian added to try to convince me.

"Also, the training ground room is noisy, cold, and dirty."

"I want to go to Nadu."

So, babies are so comfortable.

I repeated the same words a few times, but the nanny couldn't beat me and took my ass off.

"Even if you cry in surprise, I don't know."

...That little girl would cry.

***

The training room was in the corner of the lower floor where the banquet hall was.

Unlike the other rooms, the windows were open, and the cold wind of the summer was blowing in from that room.

"One!"

What a surprise.

A sword fluttered around Theodore's drawn sword.

'No, why is he using Auror against your six-year-old brother?"

Shion raised the wooden sword with sparkling eyes, but he was still too short.

"Practicing while not being able to control the weight of the wooden sword..."

Alseid Hallias seemed to have a good reason for not having a swordsmanship teacher for his youngest child, but Theodore continued to pretend to teach his younger brother properly.

"One! Lower your posture!"

Good lord.

The little Shion lowered his stance, and the sword swayed more precariously at his fingertips.

As I looked at Shion with a furrowed brow, Dorian burst out laughing.

This broke Shion's concentration.

"Shhh!"

I raised my fingers to my lips and scolded Dorian, but the nanny laughed even louder

Theodore lowered his sword and put it in its sheath, looked at us, and smiled.

"Dorian, is Liana here because she's bored? Shion works so hard, but that's how she laughs."

Sure enough, Shion, who had been insulted, had a sullen face.

Dorian began to make excuses.

"Well, it's so cute to see our little baby watching with great concentration. Tell her to be quiet."

Then he imitated me and raised his finger over his lips.

"You did it like that. You're really cute."

"Dorian's courtesy is not even good for a three-year-old."

Shion grunted, but Theodore quickly came toward us, as if he wanted to see me.

"Oh, I didn't know my youngest was so polite."

His ash-colored eyes, which were heavy as if they had cast dark clouds in my previous life, shone with the color of a warm carpet.

I looked up into Theodore's eyes and told him what I was thinking.

"Spiders are too heavy."

"What?"

Theodore didn't understand, so Dorian interrupted with a chuckle.

"A sword, a sword. Hahaha, you're amazing..."

Theodore chuckled.

"That's right. At the age of six, you're still learning swordsmanship."

However, not only Theodore, but I also learned swordsmanship before I was six years old.

Even though I could use flames, Edipa insisted that I had to learn swordsmanship before I could deal with the swordsman.

"I'm going to practice with something I've dealt with instead of just a spider..."

Shion, who understood me faster than Theodore, rushed over.

"What do you mean to practice with something other than a sword? Meddling with baby topics!"

"Something other than a sword?"

Theodore tilted his head.

"Ahhh... Liana, you're right. Shion is shorter than I was when I was six. Why haven't I thought of that before?"

Well, in my previous life, I practiced by picking up branches from the time I couldn't hold a proper wooden sword or anything like that.

You don't know that.

Shion interrupted with a disgruntled face.

"But what can you practice with other than a sword?"

"Wouldn't a straight branch be enough?"

I nodded, and Shion interrogated me with his cold eyes.

"How did you come up with that idea? Did you see it in a book?"

I shook my head.

"No, because.. I wonder if it's hard because it looks heavy..."

"Baby!"

Dorian was so moved that he hugged me tightly.

"An angel baby has come to Halias. You're so clever."

Theodore nodded and looked at Shion.

"Shion, tomorrow morning, let's cut off suitable branches from the garden. You're just practicing your posture, so you don't have to pick up your sword. Liana is right."

Shion replied sullenly.

"But I also like this sword. They said it was the sword they used when they were six years old..."

Theodore bowed gently toward Shion.

"But it's summer now, isn't it? Shion will be able to use this sword by winter, right? After practicing with something lighter."

"...Really?"

"Of course."

After saying that, Theodore turned his gaze toward me.

"And when Liana is six years old, then you will pass it on and teach her swordsmanship."

"What do you teach girls how to do swordsmanship..."

When Shion replied in a sullen voice, Theodore gave him a solemn look.

"A girl, a Princess of Hallias."

Shion immediately straightened his posture and apologized.

"...I'm sorry, brother."

After all, he was about ten years older than the youngest sword master in the Empire.

It can be more frightening than a good teacher.

Only I know that Shion can't become a sword master until he becomes an adult.

But what about then?

This family already has two of the strongest sword masters in the Empire, and Shion Hallias will compile an encyclopedia of their swordsmanship in theory!

Of course, I indeed thought it was useless in my previous life... I want to cheer you on when I see that exhausted face.

So I sneaked in.

"Hmph, you can just powder it."
