KFBRV - Part 2 Chapter 56

"Does this make sense! I'm being kicked out of the family for something I didn't even commit!"

Fernand asked the people in the Metropolitan Police Department to call a lawyer. The 'expulsion' is unfair, so hr will proceed with the lawsuit.

Naturally, the Metropolitan Police Department did not even listen to it.

It was done with the agreement of the Emperor, the Pope, and Count Albrecht. There was no way that the court would accept the lawsuit.

"You! The imperial court has already approved it, so what kind of person are you? Uh-huh! It's a lawsuit, a lawsuit!"

The Metropolitan Police Department also ridiculed it.

It was truly horrible to be reduced from an aristocrat to a commoner in prison. The respect he had received was completely gone.

And when Fernand's castle was stripped, the Pope made a surprisingly conciliatory gesture to the Count.

'The Count is about to formally induct his illegitimate son.'

As soon as he heard about it, he said that he would send a High Priest to baptize him. It was also because the High Priest visited them in person.

The cathedral considered adultery to be a sin, so it did not recognize the existence of illegitimate children. Of course, there was no baptism of illegitimate children.

Considering this, the Pope treated him very unconventionally.

As he was unusually overly involved in the family's affairs, he first extended a hand of reconciliation. It was clear that he wanted to save the Count's crumpled face and finish the job smoothly.

It was a great honor for an illegitimate child. The baptism of the High Priest was not something that could be easily received, even if he had a considerable aristocratic title.

"Even if the Pope is Odette's, I have no choice but to accept this."

Although he stopped it just before the declaration of hostilities, everyone in the social world already knows that he almost became an open enemy of the temple.

To kick the friendly gesture here was to provoke the hostility of the faithful nobles.

'The cathedral and we have been reconciled. It's peaceful.'

He could let them know that the work was completely finished.

In addition, the fact that the High Priest visited the Count in person was a great honor for the Count.

In the end, the Count had no choice but to smile and welcome the High Priest's visit.

***

The Count went to Mrs. Becker's room. She looked surprised by the Count, who came to her room.

"The High Priest said he was coming to baptize the child. I'll have him officially inducted into Albrecht that day."

The Count was scheduled to enter the temple for the child's christening ceremony.

The Count's gaze turned to the illegitimate child held by Mrs. Becker. The child had just passed the age of one, but his face was completely unkempt. He can't even doubt its roots.

This fact was a small comfort to the Count, who had to be separated from his son.

"I have chosen the name of the child, Maximilian."

Mrs. Becker gasped. This was because she knew what the name Maximilian meant to the Count.

The first Count Albrecht was a competent court apothecary. The holy name of the first lord. Therefore, it is only passed down to the precious succession.
It was an honorable name that was also included in Fernand's middle name.

Mrs. Becker would be satisfied enough.

"The baptism service will be held in front of the fountain in the garden. But you can't participate in the baptism yourself."

Mrs. Becker is not a member of the Count. The Count drew a perfect line on that. As if the child was officially registered and told not to be arrogant.

"Yes, Count."

"But I'll let you see the baptism ceremony first among the lower ones. So don't be too sad."

"It doesn't matter if it's in the back row, Count. What does that have to do with that?"

The Count warned that Mrs. Becker might become excited and arrogant.

"You will never be a Countess. So be respectful to Maximilian, who will grow up to be the official heir of this family. Unlike you, he will become a nobleman tomorrow."

"I know, Count. I will serve Master Maximilian without hesitation."

Mrs. Becker was humble to the end. The Count was rather upset by the slender appearance that had nothing to point out.

How nice it would have been if Fernand had done that. If only he had come to his senses before it was too late.

The Count's mood sank endlessly.

Still, he was a child who had been raised for nearly 30 years.

He once thought that he wanted to dig his son from the list of nobles, but when he really dug up, he couldn't be so bitter.

***

Fernand was unjustly killed while being taken away in a prison wagon. After all, he had never killed Raphael.

He was just trying to talk. What kind of madman would kill the High Priest?

"Why, why! Do I have to suffer like this?"

How painful it was when he was on a wanted order for a few weeks and ran away.

The transcendents, who had nothing to do due to the absence of disaster, were so excited to chase after him.

They chased Fernand as if they were driving rabbits, or more precisely, like lions playing with rabbits.

He felt like a toy, not a human.

But how long has it been since he felt that insult...

"Why don't you believe me? I never killed a High Priest!"

However, his protest was useless. No matter what Fernand shouted, the army would fly straight at him.

Fernand, too, was a transcendent, but he couldn't resist the violence. The restraint was tight, but it was also because the people in charge of transporting him were soldiers of his class.

D-class soldiers. They were once Fernand's teammates.

They were also the successors who had been cruelly subjected to countless acts of cruelty by Fernand.

They all begged their superiors to give them this transfer mission. To watch his tragic ending that haunted him from the closest place.

'Damn...'

One of the D-class soldiers slapped, slapped, and giggled at the back of Fernan's head.

"This bastard really doesn't have a fucking answer. Even after being treated so leniently, he still whines."

'Lenient disposition'. Every time he heard that, Fernand went crazy.

"What a generous one! I never killed him!"

"Hey, it's a big deal! It's funny!"

Fernand was now a commoner, not even a soldier. Although he was exempted from punishment, he was treated as a criminal by virtually everyone.

Everyone chuckled. Fernand, who had never been treated like this before, was so unfamiliar and confused.

"This is a trap, a trap!"

Fernand cried out in anger. However, no one listened to them.

He just shakes his head and keeps kicking.

"What kind of bloody bastard dare you... Did you throw me into this trap?

Even if he knew he had fallen into a trap, he couldn't figure out who it was.

Too many people could guess. Ot was like Odette, like the Count, and like Rolf.

He was like a mother, one of his successors who was now slapping him, and a family member of the woman he had killed a long time ago.

"Hey, we know we hit less because of the old feelings. The Transcendents are completely on the edge. Do you remember? E-grade Kian? He wants to kill you."

Fernand's body trembled at the words. If it had been D-class, Fernand would have been stronger, but he was weakened by a long period of drinking and gambling.

It has become a level where even ordinary people and F-class transcendents cannot win.

Fernand breathed heavily, his face panicked, from the anxiety that was coming.

Whatever it was, it was certain. He couldn't live his whole life being treated like this.

He was a nobleman. It's not a body that will be like their toy.

Fernand, wrapped around his body, trembled in the filthy grate.
