MWTB - Chapter 85

Instead of embracing her tightly like the ending of a perfect novel, Julia pulled away. Endymion faced her with his still-wet and handsome face.

"Are I tired? Me, you?"

Did I hear something wrong? Julia looked at Endymion with her pupils shaking.

His reddened eyes were filled with tears and looked pitifully sad. Julia felt her heart skip a beat when she saw that.

"Don't push me away. If you're disappointed with Blue Rain, I'll search the entire continent to find something you like."

Endymion whispered softly, with the look of a cat abandoned by its owner.

"B, Blue Rain?"

It was a gift she had rejected a few days ago when she had been pushing and pulling with Endymion.

'Why is that here?'

Something felt off here.

Finally, Julia glanced at him. Then, when tears welled up in Endymion's eyes again, she felt so sorry for him that she cried out.

"That, that! Actually, It's not that I didn't like it. I was disappointed because you didn't buy the Bluebell Honey Marin Cream. It's full of memories of the two of us, but now I think you think it's childish."

As she spoke, Julia became increasingly upset. Julia lowered her head and muttered sullenly while trying to comfort him.

"I'm sorry. Don't cry, Mion. It's just that, to me, the memories we had together are so precious..."

"I see."

Endymion gently cut her off.

"Then, it's not because you hate me?"

"Yeah."

"Don't you ever get tired of me pushing you?"

"I'm sick of it? That can't be true."

Julia felt embarrassed by the direct expression and denied it. But somehow, Endymion's voice asking the question felt completely different.

'I feel like you're happy. Did I hear you wrong?'

Julia looked confused and slightly lowered her head. But before she could even raise her head, their lips met as if they were falling on each other.

Endymion entered seductively. He bit without hurting her, dug in familiarly, and stroked her, savoring her warmth to his heart's content. It was a shorter but much deeper kiss than the one before, which had been rather bland.

“Ah.”

Julia, who was almost swallowed in an instant, stumbled around, gasping for breath. Endymion leisurely wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer, whispering as he bent over the wall.

"Me too. I thought you got sick of me ramming you like a starving man."

"Oh my god. Mion, such an embarrassing expression... Wait a minute."

Julia, who always freaked out when she heard it in bed, was startled and opened her eyes wide.

'Why is he laughing?!'

Endymion, who was holding her, was completely fine. As if it had been a mirage, the eyes that had been filled with rippling moisture were just as usual.

The red eyes that had made Julia's heart drop were nowhere to be found. The streams of tears that had flowed down her smooth cheeks were nowhere to be seen.

"Weren't you crying just now?"

"Yes."

"But why are you okay now?"

"Well, are I feeling better again?"

Endymion lifted the corners of his mouth and frowned. The cold eyes quickly softened into a seductive smile.

Julia, who was completely taken in by his flower-like beauty, swallowed hard. Then she asked with a look of hesitation.

"You're not crying on purpose to get sympathy, are you?"

"No way. Rather, are you upset that I didn't buy you the honey marine whipped cream?"

"Ah... Yeah."

Julia, slightly embarrassed, agreed. Endymion muttered as he buried his face in the nape of her white neck.

"I made a mistake. I exchanged gifts with you because I wanted to score points with you in a different way than usual."

"What? So you didn't hate me because I was childish?"

"There's no way there's anything I don't like about you."

Endymion, who had answered immediately, secretly ground his teeth as he thought of the naturally lovable Duke Hyde.

Julia sighed. It was a misunderstanding that started because of a dessert. Because of that, they had been awkward with each other for several days and had been digging hard.

"It's vain. I didn't even know that, and I tried to act differently than before. I thought you hated things related to your childhood!"

Touch, touch.

Endymion, who had been poking around as if she was being cute, started to kiss her lips without missing a single opportunity. The straight, white nape of her neck, like a swan, soon began to turn red.

"So no matter what I did, there was no reaction. In fact, that kind of haughty attitude was also attractive, so it was hard to hold back."

"Ugh. Are you really a pervert? Why do you keep liking weird things..."

"Well, that seems right."

Yes, limited.

Endymion chuckled softly and bit down on the nape of her neck with his teeth. Julia, who had jumped up, pushed away the black hair that was digging in.

"It tickles! Hey, hey. Go away! Weirdly, you're suddenly doing this after misunderstanding me just now."

"I need to clear up any misunderstandings that have arisen."

"Well, you should explain it with words, why not with your body...!"

"Just like you said, I won't change and will stay the same in the future."

So, get used to it. Endymion whispered quietly. Julia struggled and whined, but eventually, he carried her to bed.

Chomp!

"...Ah, ugh...Gyaak!"

A short scream escaped from within the roughly closed bed canopy. It seemed to repeat itself several times but soon became quieter as the canopy shook.

Fueled by the awkwardness of the past few days, the mood began to heat up. The bed became hotter faster than usual.

"Oh my. Julia is screaming!"

Meanwhile, outside the bedroom door, Iris, who had finally come running after much thought, became lost in thought.

In her head, a whimsical novel was playing out, mixed with distrust of her younger brother and worry about Julia.

'A couple with accumulated misunderstandings. Small misunderstandings turn into complicated discord, and they head towards a terrible catastrophe! The stalker husband, who was particularly obsessed with his wife, ends up doing this and that.'

Iris became anxious as the image of Julia sobbing in her head came to mind.

"Open this door! Can't you hear that sound? I have to stop it right now!"

Iris stamped her feet and urged the poor maid to hurry. But the maid simply nodded and closed another door with her familiar movements.

"Is it a bit noisy? Don't worry, Duchess. This is perfect."

Jiling.

When she pressed the magic tool attached to the outside of the door, the manual soundproofing device was activated, and the occasional screams were blocked.

"Ahem, I should have activated the device sooner, sorry. As you know, it's hard to predict the right timing."

The maid who said that smiled warmly had a face that had already been liberated. Only then did Iris realize something and stammered in a trembling manner.

"Oh, is this a safe situation? It's not dangerous?"

"Of course, Duchess. Oh, is there anything you would like to say? The Queen will probably be waking up by noon tomorrow. Shall I send a message to the palace?"

"...Yes, then."

Iris had no choice but to turn away at the calm reaction of the head maid. However, she was so upset by her sins that she couldn't sleep properly that night.

'No. I can't just leave it like this! I heard that your original obsessive style is serious when you get angry!'

The next day, Iris waited all day for a call. Even the head maid said she would let Julia know when she woke up at lunchtime, but there was no reply, so Iris was restless and in chaos.

Then, towards evening a message arrived for the Duke and Duchess asking them to join them for dinner.

'What should I do? If only that heartless Endymion had gotten so twisted that he had hurt the delicate Julia...!'

But what Iris saw as she hurriedly entered the Queen's palace was...

"I told you earlier. You can't do that."

"Just one last time."

"Then it's really the last..."

It was Julia, sitting on Endymion's lap.

Iris's mouth fell open.

"Ah! Sister, welcome home."

Julia, who had found Iris, stood up and spoke kindly. Then Endymion, who had followed her, grabbed Julia's waist with a possessive hand.

But Julia, who would have pushed him away like usual, only blushed brightly. Then, instead, she gently hugged his waist!

"I guess Duke Hyde is still here. Will he come with Ed?"

"Ah...yes..."

Fighting, for God's sake. Either they cleared up the misunderstanding or they didn't fight at all. The two of them seemed to be much closer than before.

"Mion, your skin seems to have gotten rough. Don't overwork yourself, yes?"

Julia stroked Endymion's cheek with affectionate eyes. Endymion nodded as if trying to look more pitiful while meeting her eyes.

"Oh my god, how hard it must be. Look at how hard it is to not be able to speak properly."

'No, that's just showing off! He doesn't even get in trouble for anything!!'

Iris could see it, but Julia just stroked his face here and there with a more serious expression as if she was completely delusional.

"This won't work. If this continues, your handsome face will get ruined."

"It's okay. I have to take responsibility for my duties."

"Huh, Mion. That was so cool just now. Can you do it one more time?"

Eventually, Iris was left as an uninvited guest in the pink mood until Duke Hyde arrived.

'I just stretched out my legs and slept well yesterday...'

She stayed up all night worrying about the most useless things in the world. Looking at her brother and sister-in-law, who were clinging to each other like melted candy, Iris felt that everything in the world was meaningless.

'I want to go home...'
