AWSIL - Chapter 122

The banquet was enjoyable. Everyone heartily congratulated Cecilia on her safe twenty-fifth birthday.

“Ahaha.”

Perhaps because she was overly excited, Cecilia drank quite a bit of alcohol, even though she shouldn't have. Eden returned to the bedroom and stared blankly at his wife, who was smiling brightly in a good mood.

“Look at this. The dress is so pretty.”

Cecilia pointed to her dress. Eden smiled and nodded.

“That’s right.”

In fact, he decided to keep it a secret that the person wearing it was prettier than the dress itself. It would be a shame to tell the drunkards.

“Eden.”

Cecilia, who was humming a tune by herself near the window, suddenly came close to Eden. Eden happily hugged Cecilia’s waist. It was unusual for Cecilia to make the first move and act cute.

“I just want to have one more drink.”

“No.”

Even so, he had no intention of granting all of the drunkards' requests. Eden firmly refused Cecilia's request.

"Why?"

Cecilia asked with a pouty face.

“Because you're already drunk.”

“I’m not drunk.”

Cecilia, who had left behind the typical lines of a drunkard, blinked her big eyes like a calf's. Eden looked down at her.

“It’s not a lie...”

Cecilia trailed off as if her feet were going numb from the staring gaze.

“Really...”

When Eden didn't say anything, Cecilia made a sullen face. Eden let out a low sigh. Looking at that, he felt like he wanted to throw away his firm determination and all.

“Just give me one more drink.”

"Then?"

No, he still has to endure it. That was when he thought about it. Cecilia made a sly suggestion.

“Everything else is up to you.”

Eden paused. His eyes, creaking like a lump of scrap metal, turned to Cecilia. He wondered if she knew how the words she had spoken could be used.

But Cecilia was simply unleashed by her lust for alcohol.

“It’s better not to say anything you can’t keep.”

Eden whispered, tapping Cecilia's nose with the tip of his index finger. A faint shadow of desire was visible in his slightly lowered voice.

“I can do it.”

Normally, she would have backed away. However, perhaps because she was drunk, Cecilia gained courage and did not back down.

"Great."

It would be better to let her drink one more glass and put her to sleep quickly. Thinking so, Eden called the maid and had her bring him some wine.

“Ahem.”

Cecilia, who had earned her drink through struggle, tilted her glass of wine and smiled. Her face was so cute that even Eden would have smiled if she hadn't been burning with desire for alcohol.

“Are you happy?”

Eden asked. Cecilia smiled and nodded. Eden also ended up smiling weakly. It was because he felt that it was okay for that woman to be happy.

“What’s so fun about it? Is it because the alcohol is sweet?”

Eden lifted his glass and tilted it slightly. Cecilia followed suit and sipped her wine.

“I just feel good.”

“...”

“Because this is the first time I’ve safely reached the age of twenty-five.”

And she smiled beautifully. Even the smile of a drunkard made his heart flutter and shake. Eden was amazed at his own wretchedness. He was going crazy without knowing the extent of it.

“It’s nice to see you again.”

Cecilia, drunk, was desperate. She was casually blurting out sounds that made Eden's heart flutter and made his heart flutter.

“Are you happy to see me?”

Eden asked. Cecilia nodded repeatedly, like a puppy wagging its tail.

“You never showed any signs of that before.”

“...Because I’m embarrassed.”

Cecilia answered with a blush on her face. Eden, who was watching her, also ended up laughing.

“Stop drinking now and go to sleep. There will be plenty of opportunities to drink in the future.”

And he reached out to take Cecilia's glass. Of course, it was good that Cecilia was being honest about her feelings.

“I wish you would tell me that when you are sober.”

However, it wasn't very pleasant to find out by using the excuse of being drunk, so he thought of taking the alcohol away.

“Cecilia!”

But that was an act that ignored the drunkard's wishes. Cecilia, realizing that Eden was trying to snatch the glass away, quickly brought the glass to her lips and tilted it.

"Ah."

At the same time, purple liquid poured down onto the white dress. Cecilia looked down at her dress with a blank expression, then turned her gaze to Eden.

“What should I do...”

The face was like, "I spilled the alcohol, and I should take responsibility." Eden laughed as if it was ridiculous and placed his hand on his forehead.

“First, take off your dress.”

Cecilia looked at Eden as if asking for help. It was an unimaginable sight for the usual Cecilia, but her childish behavior wasn't all that bad. Cecilia was far too mature for her age.

Eden picked up the bell on the table to call the servant, then put it down. He thought that Cecilia would be embarrassed by her behavior after she sobered up.

“Stand up and turn around.”

After Cecilia stood up obediently and turned her back to him, Eden pushed Cecilia's long hair over one shoulder and began unbuttoning the buttons on her back, one by one.

“How did you wear something like this?”

It was too much of a hassle to put on and take off. Eden frowned as he focused on unbuttoning the buttons, then suddenly his gaze fell on the nape of Cecilia's neck.

“...”

The flushed nape of her neck and ears were noticeable. The body twitched every time he reached out to unbutton a small button. Suddenly, Eden felt his throat burning.

“Cecilia.”

Eden impulsively kissed Cecilia's nape and whispered her name in her ear. Cecilia turned her head slightly and looked at Eden, who was standing behind her. Her face was particularly red, whether from the alcohol or embarrassment.

“I'll give you the drink if you want.”

“...”

“Didn’t you say I could do whatever I wanted?”

Cecilia swallowed hard at Eden's question. Despite the alcohol, she seemed to understand what he meant.

"... Yes."

Cecilia answered quietly enough that she couldn't hear. Finally, Eden, who had received permission, smiled faintly and buried his lips in the nape of Cecilia's neck.

"Thank you."

Thank you? What? Before Cecilia could even ask, Eden started kissing her neck. Knock, knock, the small sound of the button being unbuttoned strangely stimulated her ears.

“Eden...”

"Huh."

The bedroom was so quiet that even that sound could be heard. Cecilia felt her dress soaked in wine fall to the floor at the touch of the man’s hand, who had answered dryly.

“Not here, not here.”

Cecilia held his hand over her thin clothes and spoke barely. It was almost a whisper.

“Then where?”

Eden asked playfully, nibbling Cecilia's ear. Cecilia flinched and glared at Eden.

"All right."

Eden answered in a low voice, as if sighing, and lifted Cecilia up in a hug. Cecilia's eyes opened wide in surprise.

Soon, Cecilia's body was placed on the rocking bed. It was an unusually rough touch. Cecilia looked up at Eden while lying on the bed.

“...”

Eden's eyes were half-immersed in desire. However, they were not completely immersed in desire. The fact that he was looking around to see if Cecilia was uncomfortable was proof of this.

“You said you were going to do whatever you wanted.”

Eden laughed briefly at Cecilia's courageous whisper.

“Then can you handle it?”

Then he lifted Cecilia's leg and kissed the small instep. Reflexively, her toes tightened.

“Why in a place like that...”

Cecilia frowned, not in a disapproving way.

“Because it’s small and cute.”

Eden answered without hesitation. At the same time, Cecilia remembered a certain day. The face that looked at her feet, was swollen and worn out by the shoes she had just put on. The voice whispered that she was small and cute.

“I think I wanted to do this before too.”

Eden muttered in a low voice. Cecilia smiled faintly as she recalled the memory of their first night together when she had tried so hard to avoid him.

“Even then?”

And she asked, were you still attracted to me at that time?

“Even then.”

Eden readily acknowledged his feelings. The sparkling eyes that showed his affection for her were clearly visible. Eden’s affection was as clear as the constellations that showed the way even in the dark of the night.

So maybe this time she didn't get lost. The light was too bright to miss twice.

Cecilia thought so, grabbed Eden's face, and pulled him down to her. Eden did not refuse and jumped towards her wife.

Her body and mind were tossed helplessly like a boat in a storm.
