IWAEBS - Chapter 60 < Sorry I Couldn't Hold It In >

The greatest thing I can give him is... Aha. I realized it when I saw his eyes filled with desire. But I pretended not to know and raised the end of my words.

“I don’t think there are any?”

“Huh? Do you really not know, or are you just pretending not to know?”

“You’re just pretending not to know. Of course...”

I smiled faintly and ran to him and hugged him.

“I may not be good at shooting arrows, but I’m good at that.”

“So what’s the answer? Tell me. One thing you can give me.”

His eyes moved slightly.

"Attractiveness?"

“You’re crazy. Stop being cute!”

I didn't want to tell him the answer right away because his disappointed expression was so funny.

“Then humor?”

“Haha, aren’t you laughing now? You’re laughing because it’s so absurd. Not because it’s humorous!”

He showed his displeasure by gently bumping his forehead against mine.

“Um, then... what was there?”

I rolled my eyes toward the ceiling of the training hall and trailed off.

“I’m going crazy.”

He grabbed my face with both hands and started questioning me without stopping.

“There’s not much you can do, so how can you not find that one thing? Do you know how many times those big eyes are rolling right now...”

"Love!"

I couldn't help but shout out the correct answer as his low, discontented voice poured out of his mouth like candy.

“Whew, that’s really hard to hear. Just like our Empress’s archery skills.”

Linel said, moving his body from side to side while embracing me. At the moment when he spoke about my archery skills, I finally burst out laughing because of his serious and gloomy expression. He laughed along with me without knowing why I was laughing. I was also happy to see him...

“Love me.”

Linel suddenly became serious and whispered. My spine was already sinking at his earnest voice. It was like a cute puppy lying down and looking at its owner, asking to be pampered. He didn’t say it while lying on the floor like a puppy, but his expression was like he was already lying down somewhere.

“Linel...”

“It’s true that you don’t have much to give me.”

“Yes. It’s an unfair relationship.”

“That’s right. I have no doubt about it.”

“...”

His head reacted very strongly to the joke. Well, it's true. I was about to feel sorry.

“Just give me love. It may be unfair, but I think it will be a great comfort.”

He added. At first glance, it sounded like an order, but his eyes were full of confession. No, I should say it was a plea. I couldn't hide the expression on my face that was touched by him.

“Aren’t you going to suffer too much loss?”

But I thought I would cry if I said thank you here, so I playfully accepted it.

“That’s true... Tsk, I guess I’ll let it slide.”

“?”

“Yes, just close your eyes and I’ll take that one.”

“...You are truly a saint.”

“So please leave me alone, Zelda.”

His unwavering gaze and deep, deep voice made my heart swell beyond my senses.

“Go, quickly.”

“Where?”

“To the Empress’s Palace.”

I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the entrance to the training ground.

“I want to receive it now.”

“What?”

“That's what I'm talking about.”

"... Yes?"

"Love."

“Hey, here?”

The attendants were waiting outside, but the sound of swords clashing was loud. But what was happening here?

“No, that’s not possible.”

I looked around the training ground and said firmly.

"Yes."

“?”

It was clear that Linel had lost his mind. He grabbed my hand and dragged me to a remote corner of the training ground. Linel walked so fast that I had to almost run to keep up with him.

“No matter how cornered you are, it can’t be done. It can’t be done!”

I made a strong appeal.

“Aside from the corner, is this place okay?”

When we reached the corner of the training ground, he led me into a narrow passage and reached out his hand somewhere. I just stared at his face, and then I was startled by the sound of a door opening in the darkness.

“Where is this place?”

“Arms warehouse.”

The door closed again with a bang. The full moon's light filled the warehouse's windows. Thanks to that, the inside of the warehouse began to show a little bit. Several weapons were piled up on the floor and walls.

“...This is a dangerous place.”

“Should we share a dangerous love that suits the place? How about it, romantic?”

“Isn’t it a disaster?”

“It’s romantic, why is it a disaster?”

“What if someone comes in?”

That was exactly the disaster I was worried about.

“How dare you? I told Stian not to come into the training grounds, so who would come in here?”

Linel took off his uniform jacket and spread it out on a pile of straw.

“Right now... what are you doing?”

“It’s just a pile of straw, but you might get hurt.”

"Ah."

I just surrendered. I knew that if I rejected his love here, I would regret it for a long time.

“I don’t think I’ll look pretty here at all...”

Let me say this with a hesitant tone,

“That’s for me to decide.”

Linel picked me up and sat me down on the uniform he had spread out on the straw. It seemed like his warmth still lingered in the uniform.

“So, how do I look now?”

“My judgment is this...”

He took my hand and placed it over his heart. The sound of his heart beating fast, thump thump, permeated my palm and spread through my blood vessels to my entire body. I gave up on my hairstyle and went over the straw pile with him. I looked up at his face illuminated by the moonlight as if in a trance, and kept closing and opening my eyes. The feelings I couldn’t express in words were fully shared through each other’s eyes and gestures.

Linel's blue eyes studied my reaction. I enjoyed every look of his that seemed to be coveting me. When I smiled slightly, he smiled back. His shy face lit up. That undying light made even the shabby warehouse feel wonderful.

“I’m sorry I couldn’t endure it until the Empress’s Palace.”

The look on his face as he apologized to me was unbelievably adorable.

"It's okay."

“But I don’t think I’ll be able to bear it even if I go to the Empress’s Palace.”

"Yes?"

“So I should apologize in advance for that too. I’m sorry.”

“...”

“Isn’t that okay?”

When I was silent, he pressed his index finger on my right cheek and asked. I burst out laughing. He said, “Don’t laugh, it’s an order,” and swallowed my laughter with his lips. My unstoppable laughter seemed to be absorbed by his body. At that moment when everything was deepening, “Over the wyvern’s corpse, forward, forward...!” The warehouse door opened wide with a humming song outside. Linel and I lay on the straw without even having time to get up, only looking up at the warehouse door.

“Goodbye, Valley of Death! We advance... Aah! Surprise!”

A man who had been singing and stepping into the warehouse noticed us in the darkness and took a step back.

“Who, who are you!”

“Who are you!”

Linel and the man shouted at the same time.

“Your Majesty, Your Majesty?”

“Hey, Macrom?”

This time, the two voices overlapped at the same time. Oh, my goodness. The person who entered the warehouse was Commander Macrom. I closed my eyes tightly in despair. If I looked closely, I thought there might be a mouse hole somewhere here... Am I going to be discovered by Commander Macrom? What a situation and place!

“Why did you come in here?”

Linel asked him in an annoyed tone.

“Your Majesty, what are you doing here?”

“I came to touch the bow for the first time in a while. Didn’t you see the attendants at the entrance?”

“I came in through the back door?”

Commander Macrom responded calmly.

“And of course, I can’t see anything. I was cursed with losing my eyesight while trying to save someone in the Valley of Death.”

“Why are you suddenly bringing that up? And, let me get this straight. If it weren’t for me, you would have lost one of your arms like that wizard.”

“That might have been better. But Your Majesty, you are not alone, are you?”

Commander Macrom narrowed his eyes as he looked at me. The commander would sense my energy... First, I wanted to get out of this space. I gave Linel an embarrassed expression and pointed my finger outside the warehouse with a look in my eyes that said I would wait outside. Fortunately, Linel nodded without saying anything. I quickly got up from the straw. Commander Macrom frowned and moved his head to follow my movements as I passed by him like a crab. I left the warehouse and intentionally did not close the door, but stood against the wall in front of it and openly eavesdropped on their conversation.

“Your Majesty, I am disappointed.”

Commander Macrom spoke first.

“Who was disappointed because of you just now and why are you saying such things?”

“Your Majesty, but this doesn’t seem right.”

“It’s not something.”

“Your Majesty the Empress.”

Got caught.

As soon as Commander Macrom mentioned me, I bit my lower lip. You’re going to tell Linel everything now, right? What have I been doing on the training grounds all this time? Why did I have to get caught today?

Just a moment ago, I was complaining to him about how scary archery was. It was so funny.

“Why the Empress.”

“I am ashamed to see Her Majesty the Empress.”

“So the Empress just now...”

“No matter how much your majesty!”

Commander Macrom interrupted Linel and spoke in protest.

“How can you do this in a place like this, leaving Her Majesty the Empress behind!”

The disappointed voice of Commander Macrom echoed throughout the warehouse.

Huh? Do you really think that Linel is having an affair with the Empress's knight? Command Macrom still seemed to think of me as the knight Bonis, not the Empress. Suddenly, I became the subject of my husband's affair. The situation was going strangely.

“Macrom, what are you talking about?”

He continued speaking with a bewildered expression.

“Then why do you do this with the Empress? Why do you do this with the concubine?”

Linel laughed, tapping the straw I was lying on with his palm.

“Oh my, what should I do about this!”

Commander Macrom sighed, repeatedly hitting the side of his thigh with one hand.

“You weren’t drinking, were you?”

He looked at Commander Macrom with strange eyes.

“Have you been drinking too much today, Your Majesty? That’s why you’re here... Haa, Her Majesty is pitiful!”

“Well, I feel sorry for the Empress too. But I can’t stand it, so what can I do?”

The two people were having a conversation that had different meanings, but, funnily enough, the conversation that started out as a misunderstanding flowed very naturally.

“Your Majesty! Is this the kind of person you are? Are you someone who has no self-control to sneak into a place like this?”

“I didn’t know, but after I got married, I realized for sure. I’m a total crazy guy.”

Linel replied with a chuckle.

“Haa, how surprised would Her Majesty the Empress be if she knew this?”

“The Empress already knows, right?”

Linel waved at me as I stood outside the warehouse door, speaking to the foreman.

“Oh my God, I didn’t hear anything!”

Commamdet Macrom was tapping his ears with both hands and searching for God. The two men's conflicting conversations were funny, but the commander's appearance of thinking of me was quite touching. However, he was, after all, a loyal follower of Linel.

“Your Majesty, I haven’t seen anything today.”

“Hey, is your vision really back? I said something was strange last time, but what are you starting to see that makes you say that?”

“...Now, return to Her Majesty the Empress.”

Commander Macrom stepped aside as if he did not want to talk to him any longer.

“It was going to be like that anyway.”

Linel said, shaking out the uniform jacket that he had left on the straw pile.

“Huh? You even took off your top?!”

Commander Macrom flared up again at the sound of his uniform being torn open.

“I have good manners. How could I just let my woman sit on a pile of straw?”

He said proudly as he buttoned up his uniform.

“Oh, God, have you heard? Please bless Her Majesty the Empress, and grant our Majesty...”

The commander, praying earnestly with both hands clasped together, suddenly stopped talking.

“What about me? Why did I stop praying?”

Linel asked, tapping the commander's shoulder. Then Commander Macrom clasped both hands together again and shouted desperately.

“Oh my God, to His Majesty...!”

I listened to the appealing prayer of Commander Macrom.
