After seeing off Rosie and Melanie, I went straight to Count Ethan’s blacksmith shop in front of the residence with the ruby ore.
“Here.. what brings you here?”
Count Ethan looked quite flustered by my visit.
“I guess I’ll be seeing you often from now on.”
“Ah... I heard that you’ve been given that place as your residence. I’m really sorry.”
Count Ethan nodded slightly, nodding at my residence building.
“I actually like it better. It’s more lively because the surroundings are full of life.”
Count Ethan laughed awkwardly at my words.
Without hesitation, I immediately told the captain why I came to see him.
“Actually, I need a sword.”
“What kind of sword do you mean?”
“Umm...”
I looked at the swords displayed in Count Ethan’s workshop.
Fortunately, several swords were similar in length to the Incarnation Sword.
Among them, I chose the one that most resembled the handle of the Incarnation Sword in terms of shape and color and asked Count Ethan,
“Can you give me this sword? To commemorate our becoming neighbors?”
“Of course. But what are you going to do with it...?”
Count Ethan glanced down at the pocket I was holding and asked,
“I want to decorate the handle with this.”
I took out a ruby stone from my pocket and rolled up my hands.
“You mean it yourself?!”
Count Ethan stopped me in shock, but he couldn’t take away the sword I had already picked up.
It wasn’t a sword-making job, but the work was simpler than I thought.
I melted the center of the sword handle using the iron that was already heated in the furnace.
I melted the adhesive that was sometimes used to carve jewels or family seals into sword handles and applied it to the center of the grooved handle, and pressed the ruby stone on top.
“When I put the ruby in there... it looks a bit like the Incarnation Sword.”
Count Ethan came up next to me and said with a smile,
“Does it look that way to you, Count?”
“At first glance, it might look that way.”
“It would look even more so in the dark?”
“Of course. Your Majesty Zelda, if it’s not rude, may I ask what this sword is for?”
“When I saw it at the Continental Hunting Tournament, the Incarnation Sword looked really pretty.”
I pressed the sparkling ruby with my hand and smiled.
“Yes?”
“Just... for decoration.”
It could be useful for decoration, but it could be used in many ways.
“Your Majesty, why can’t you focus on your work today?”
Raphael asked, fixing the document that Linel had signed incorrectly for the third time.
“Even you can see it that way?”
“Yes, did something bad happen to you? You made a year’s worth of mistakes today.”
“That’s even stranger. Nothing bad happened yesterday or today... but I can’t focus.”
He put his quill on the desk and made a profound expression.
“Did something happen to you last night?”
“I’ve been busy. Isn’t that natural? It’s the first night of your wedding.”
“No, what I mean is... I mean, did you have an argument with Her Majesty the Empress, or rather, with Your Majesty Zelda?”
Raphael asked, lowering his voice.
“We didn’t have enough conversation to have an argument.”
“Why?”
“Why do you think so? Tell me?”
Linel snickered and furrowed his eyebrows.
From that appearance, Raphael realized what the Emperor meant when he said that they didn’t have much conversation.
Raphael waved his hand and covered his ears just in case.
“Last night was really happy. We laughed a lot when we had dinner together this morning. But why...”
Linel’s worries began again.
He got up from his chair and walked to the window.
“Why, as time goes by, does my heart become more anxious?”
He raised his hand and placed it over his heart.
I opened my eyes at the sound of the Avatar's voice. Prince Tesla's greedy purple eyes were eerily revealed under the mask.
Prince Tesla flinched when our eyes met.
I also opened my eyes wide, pretending to be surprised, looking at Prince Tesla.
“You managed to steal the Incarnation Sword. I don’t know why the Magic Tower Lord entrusted you with the Incarnation Sword, but it’s not something so trivial that you should have it.”
Prince Tesla thought that the Magic Tower Lord had given me the Incarnation Sword.
“Zelda, don’t blame me. If I have any sins, it’s that I was weak-hearted and let you live for so long.”
Prince Tesla turned the tip of the Incarnation Sword toward my heart.
“Why on earth do you want to kill me so badly?”
Prince Tesla’s eyebrows twitched at my question.
I also wanted to end this moment quickly. But if not now, I might not have the chance to ask.
“Zelda, your sin was that you accepted Emperor Linel’s love. That was the beginning of your misfortune. I don’t need to keep alive a human who has lost his utility to me.”
“Yes, you’ll kill Resilia like that.”
Prince Tesla opened his eyes dimly.
He seemed quite surprised by my reaction.
Of course, he would.
In a situation where I should be trembling with shock and fear and begging for my life, he is laughing at me with a calm expression.
“What are you doing? If you came to kill me, then stab me quickly.”
“...You are still being cocky. You can’t even beg for your life!”
Prince Tesla raised the handle of the Incantation Sword higher.
Then, for a moment, he tilted his head crookedly and made a suggestion.
“Beg. Then I’ll spare your life.”
“?”
“I’m serious. If you beg like a dog at my feet, I’ll take your eyes instead of your life.”
“You crazy... bastard.”
I barely held back the urge to snap Prince Tesla’s wrist and take the Sword of Incarnation right away.
“What? Ha, you’re about to die, so you’ve lost your fear!”
“Don’t drag it out. If you’re going to kill me, kill me quickly.”
“Here.. what brings you here?”
Count Ethan looked quite flustered by my visit.
“I guess I’ll be seeing you often from now on.”

“...I won’t listen. I don’t really want to know.”
Raphael waved his hand and covered his ears just in case.
“Last night was really happy. We laughed a lot when we had dinner together this morning. But why...”
Linel’s worries began again.
He got up from his chair and walked to the window.

He raised his hand and placed it over his heart.
“Is this because you miss Her Majesty?”
“What?”
“There’s still work left to do. You have to do it.”
Raphael said firmly.
“Who said anything? I’ll finish all my work today.”
He returned to his desk and sat down.
Linel picked up one of the unread papers in front of him and handed it to Raphael.
“Why are you giving it to me?”
“You read it.”
“Why me...?”
“I can’t concentrate, so I can’t see the text. That’s why I keep making mistakes at work.”
“No, your eyes aren’t dim, so why are you doing this, Your Majesty!”
“Then let’s just say my eyes are dim.”
“!”
“Is that okay? Read it quickly.”
Raphael had no choice but to start reading the document he had been handed.
However, even as Raphael read the contents of the document in a clear voice, Linel continued to be lost in thought.
As the sun began to set, an ominous feeling began to rise in his stomach.
“Raphael, read a little faster.”
“Yes?”
“I have to finish work early today. Hurry up.”
“Oh, yes... My throat is sore, but I will follow your orders.”
Raphael couldn’t break his stubbornness.
As he was reading the document a little faster than he had been ordered, Stiane came into the office.
“Your Majesty, there is a message from Her Majesty’s quarters.”
“What is it?”
“Her Majesty is not feeling well, so I think it would be better for you to have dinner separately at the main palace and come back.”
“As expected... She said she felt strange since the afternoon.”
Linel muttered as if he knew something was wrong with her.
“Your Majesty, I will prepare dinner at the main palace.”
“No. I don’t have any special thoughts, so there’s no need to do that.”
“However, if you skip the meal, you’ll get sick. Besides, if Her Majesty insisted on sending you this message, doesn’t that mean she wants to rest for dinner?”
“Is that... that what you mean?”
Linel asked Raphael in front of him after hearing Stian’s advice.
“What?”
“There’s still work left to do. You have to do it.”
Raphael said firmly.
“Who said anything? I’ll finish all my work today.”
He returned to his desk and sat down.
Linel picked up one of the unread papers in front of him and handed it to Raphael.

“Is that... that what you mean?”
Linel asked Raphael in front of him after hearing Stian’s advice.
“Yes, it sounds like that to me.”
After answering, Raphael suddenly exclaimed, “Ah!” and asked him in a low voice.
“Could it be that Her Majesty was too passionate last night and got a cold?”
“In that case, we should go!”
Linel sat up in his chair.
“Your Majesty! It’s still early evening. And you haven’t finished your work yet.”
Linel glared at his secretary and sat back down on his chair, calling the chamberlain who was about to leave.
“Stiane, you come here and help me.”
“Yes? What?”
He handed the document to Stiane as well.
“Now, you two take turns reading it.”
“Your Majesty, are you just listening?”
Raphael asked discontentedly.
“I’ll read the document myself.”
Linel added that this would help the work get done faster and began to show a frightening concentration as he picked up his quill.
He had made up his mind firmly.
However, whenever he felt even a little fear, his determined mind would become tangled again.
Should I ignore this situation and run away?
If I ignore it?
If I run away?
What would change then?
Nothing would change.
However, many questions continued to pour out.
Do I really need this kind of power?
Was my choice really the right one?
I shook my head firmly.
There may not be such a thing as the right choice in the first place.
I just made my choice the right choice.
I gathered my thoughts once more and made up my mind.
As my nerves became tense, I could hear the rustling of leaves outside the window.
Since it was before the imprinting with the Incarnation Sword, all my senses were becoming more sensitive.
It seemed as if the Incarnation Sword hidden in the dressing room was awakening the heat inside my body.
‘The Incarnation Sword knows. Today is the day.’
The Incarnation said, drawing the fire energy that spread throughout my body to my heart.
As my five senses became more sensitive, the fear and loneliness that I had tried to ignore and cover up underneath began to rise their heads again.
‘Zelda. You know that you have no choice but to gain strength.’
The Incarnation inside me read my emotions and spoke carefully.
“Who said what?”
I shrugged my shoulders and smiled lightly as if I had no worries.
The Incarnation Sword was right.
The Incarnation Sword indeed reacts to me, but it is not yet completely assimilated into me.
For the Incarnation Sword to become completely mine...
The Incarnation Sword must enter my body, that is, my heart.
After answering, Raphael suddenly exclaimed, “Ah!” and asked him in a low voice.

The Incarnation Sword indeed reacts to me, but it is not yet completely assimilated into me.
For the Incarnation Sword to become completely mine...
The Incarnation Sword must enter my body, that is, my heart.
This is what the incarnation told me as I was leaving the Empress's Palace and heading to the training ground to hide the incarnation Sword. He said that this was the only way for the fire energy within me to meet the incarnation Sword and amplify its power.
Instead, once the imprint is done, even if the incarnation sword falls into the hands of someone else, its power can never be manifested except by the person who imprinted it.
That was the biggest reason I decided to imprint it.
At least I could prevent the incarnation sword from falling into the hands of Princess Roxana or Prince Tesla.
'Here he is.'
The incarnation informed me of the intruder.
'I know.'
The intruder was none other than Prince Tesla.
The dressing room connected to my bedroom had a terrace door, unlike the dressing room in the Empress's Palace.
Prince Tesla must have broken in there.
I sent word to Grand Duke Martins this afternoon via Moiya.
I heard that I was going to go to bed early because my health was not good, so I told him to tell Prince Tesla.
It was to induce Prince Tesla to move around with peace of mind after Grand Duke Martins heard about it.
I lay on my bed and stared at the door of the dressing room that was right in front of me. I put my hand under the blanket and touched the sword that I had put a ruby in at the blacksmith's shop today.
Suddenly, Linel's face came to mind.
There were still two hours left before Linel got here.
By the time he got to my place, everything would be over, right?
That was good.
I didn’t want him to see me stabbed by the sword.
That was the same for Sharon. However, I had no choice but to ask Sharon’s help to finish this.
I hope she didn’t cry too much.
‘You know, what if Prince Tesla broke into the dressing room and ran away with only the Incantation Sword?’
I had planned this because I thought that if he stole only the sword and ran away, I could easily get it back if he were stupid Prince Tesla, but when the time came, I suddenly became worried and asked Incantation.
‘Zelda, that bastard had a murderous look in his eyes whenever he saw you.’
That’s right. Even without the Incantation Sword, Prince Tesla was the kind of person who would definitely get rid of me if he had the chance.
‘Don’t worry about useless things and prepare yourself mentally.’
As my incantation snorted and replied, the door to the dressing room opened slightly.
Prince Tesla eventually came into the bedroom through the dressing door to kill me.
As expected, I worried unnecessarily.
I closed my eyes, pretending to sleep, and waited for the Prince to come closer.
The first reason I brought the Incantation Sword to the dressing room connected to the bedroom was to prevent the servants in my quarters from being exposed to unnecessary damage.
And the second reason was to provide convenience to Prince Tesla.
That convenience was a bait to make it easier for him to attack me.
'Here he comes.'
My Incantation whispered to me.
My heart was already ready to accept the new energy.
If it's an inevitable fate, let's face it and overcome it!
Plus, I can clean up the trash together, so it's beneficial to me in many ways.
'Zelda, now!'
My Incantation shouted.
Instead, once the imprint is done, even if the incarnation sword falls into the hands of someone else, its power can never be manifested except by the person who imprinted it.
That was the biggest reason I decided to imprint it.

“You’ve only gained a shameful sense of pride since you were by the Emperor’s side. Fine, I’ll do as you wish. I wonder what kind of expression the Emperor will make when he sees you torn to pieces.”
Prince Tesla aimed the tip of the Sword of Incarnation at my heart.
I closed my eyes obediently.
Not to face death, but to gain the power that had been given to me.
At that moment, I heard the sound of the door opening.
It seemed like there were still a few minutes left before Sharon came in.
I rolled my eyes toward the door, thinking that Sharon might be in danger.
“Zelda?!”
It was Linel’s voice.
On a night that I had to endure alone... He had come.
What, why did you come so early?
He’s still a long way from home!
And today, I made an excuse that I was not feeling well just in case, so I had time to spare, but why did you come so early? I didn’t want him to see me like this...
Prince Tesla hesitated at his appearance.
I was just as flustered as the Prince.
‘If I keep doing this, I’ll lose the incarnation sword without even being able to imprint!’
I looked at Prince Tesla again at the incarnation’s urgent voice.
The Prince, with a blank expression, pointed the tip of the incarnation sword at my heart and froze.
I quickly grabbed the blade with both hands.
And with all my strength, I pulled the incarnation sword towards me.
“You, you... What are you doing!”
Prince Tesla’s eyes almost popped out.
To Linel, it must have looked like I was blocking the sword and getting stabbed by it.
“Ugh!!”
The sword of incarnation plunged deep into my heart.
My body felt like it had been thrown into a pit of fire.
The imprinting was beginning.
“Zelda!!”
I could hear Linel’s voice calling out to me from afar.
