THIBV - Chapter 105

The coachman collected the bodies of the assassins and placed them side by side.

Julian told me to stay in the carriage so that she wouldn't have to see the ugly thing, but I insisted on seeing it with my own eyes.

'I've seen enough corpses in the convent.'

People who died from illness, people who committed suicide, people who died for unknown reasons, etc.

In the convent where I was imprisoned, people died quite frequently.

At first, I was afraid of the corpse, but later I became more afraid of the magi it gave off than the corpse itself.

Death emits tremendous magical energy.

Of course, being by Julian's side, I have now become insensitive to even the most vicious magi.

Julian carried more magi with him than Death could generate. To me, he was nothing more than a walking disaster.

"Your Majesty, I need you to look at this."

The coachman removed the masks that covered the assassins' faces.

I was taken aback.

'Your face is sunburned...?"

When the mask was removed, what was revealed underneath was a face with all the skin burned away.

Their eyes, nose, and mouth had melted, so their identities could not be identified.

Julian was indifferent as if he had expected It.

"There is a spell on the mask."

The coachman showed me, who was showing interest, the back of the mask the assassin was wearing.

Perhaps because the burn was caused by witchcraft, the mask was not burned and was intact.

The back of the mask was covered in strange, unreadable characters.

I took out a handkerchief and folded it over my mask.

Jullan frowned.

"What are you going to do?"

"I was wondering if I could find out something."

"Don't do useless things."

"I won't do anything dangerous. ReaIly."

I quickly put the handkerchief covering the mask into my pocket, fearing that Julian would snatch it away from me.

Julian crossed his arms and glared at me. His eyes showed complete distrust.

"You're not going to do anything dangerous by luring the Duke of Linchester? That's great."

"How did you know it was the Duke of Linchester's doing?"

"He is a master of sorcery."

It seemed familiar.

"If you're thinking of using that as evidence to catch him, then don't worry. He's not only good at sorcery, he's also good at cutting tails."

Still, I did not give up my handkerchief.

"Tell me. How did you lure the Duke?"

"He planted a spy in Winston's mansion."

Julian was shocked when I said that I had used a spy the Duke had planted against him.

I was confident.

"You didn't think he'd come after me? Of course..."

"What I didn't think was that you knew about it and could plan something like this."

"Ah."

I was no longer confident.

"I told you to write the Black Knight like that... Hmm?"

Julian glanced at my shadow.

I quickly confessed, thinking now was my chance to get my act together.

"It disappeared just now."

"Disappearing?"

"He... starved a little bit."

"What is that?"

"I'll explain it to you on the way back to the palace."

***

'It was destroyed because it didn't eat magic.'

Julian was confused after hearing the whole story.

This is the first time he's heard of that way.

Is that something that disappears?

The Black Knight was also called the Immortal Lion.

Because it cannot be defeated unless the heir to the curse dies.

Even Julian couldn't get rid of it.

But Bridget took it away.

'That's ridiculous.'

Bridget's eyes sparkled as she thought that perhaps this might be a clue to breaking the curse.

So, with a face full of hope, she poured out the power of purification on Julian.

It seemed like his patience would be broken before the curse.

"Bridget."

Bridget didn't answer.

She was so busy infusing her purifying power Into every corner of his body and shadow that she didn't hear his call.

'It's strange. It feels different.'

It wasn't that difficult to confine the Black Knight within the Wall of Purification in her shadow.

But it was something entirely different to wander in Julian's shadow.

Is it because it belongs to someone else?

It felt like something was blocking her, leaving no room for her power to penetrate.

'Let's try a material offensive."

Bridget was gaining more and more strength.

She thought she heard a groan, but she didn't pay attention.

Julian's shadow was dense.

The more she released her power, the more sweat formed on her forehead.

"...Bridget."

"..."

"Bridget."

"..."

"Bridget!"

Julian grabbed both of Bridget's wrists and pulled them away from his body.

"...Uh?"

It was only then that Bridget realized that she was already climbing onto Julian's body.

She's sure they were sitting on the living room sofa, but Julian was half-lying down and Bridget was sitting on his thighs, practically stroking his chest.

"Oh, sorry."

When she jerked her hips in surprise, Julian closed his eyes with an "ugh." She felt something hard from below.

"Stay still."

It was a voice that felt moist.

He looked up at her from below.

'...!'

Only then did Bridget see his excited face and exclaim, "Oh no!"

His flushed cheeks, slightly dilated pupils, parted lips, she could feel the hot desire in his eyes that were filled with heat.

He licked his dry lips. Bridget unconsciously watched blankly as his red tongue slowly moistened his lips and disappeared inside, then blushed,

'It's night.'

The sight of him lying underneath her, all disheveled and looking up at her with lust was overly suggestive.

Julian chuckled.

"Didn't I tell you?"

"What?"

"I feel good when your strength reaches me."

"You told me."

"Did you say that it was a temptation similar to putting freshly baked, golden-brown bread in front of someone who had been starving for about two weeks? Did you say that it was the meaning of lust, that it made you want to swallow it in one bite?"

Bridget's gaze trembled slightly.

She was startled belatedly.

"Is that what you meant by good? If that's the case, then by now...!"

"I see now."

In an instant, the positions of the two people were reversed.

Her lips were swallowed by his as she lay down on the sofa.

In an instant, the air heated up and the atmosphere changed.

"Ugh..."

Bridget closed her eyes and felt the same lewd tongue she had seen earlier slide into her mouth.

The flesh that entered deeply wrapped around her tongue and sucked it.

There was a sound of wet flesh rubbing against each other.

Bridget put her arms around Julian's neck.

His body filling her arms gave me joy and satisfaction that was hard to describe.

He tasted her without thinking as if he had thrown away all the patience he had been holding back with great difficulty, talking about how hungry people were and how bread was.

Bridget loved the sight of him lusting after her. It turned her on.

She liked the fact that his head and senses were filled entirely with herself.

But it was also difficult.

When their lips parted slightly, Bridget whispered.

"Julian, no matter how much my power stimulates your lust, please hold on for a little while. Just until I destroy all the black knights inside you."

"Are you telling me to endure it and starve to death?"

"What is that?"

Julian straightened his upper body and reached out the window. The black smoke quickly spread out along his hand.

"Look."

Bridget sat up slightly and looked where he was pointing.

"...Oh my God."

Outside the window, there were three rows of black knights, so long that the end was not visible.

It was a shockingly large number.

"How much is that...?"

"I don't know because I didn't count."

Bridget was speechless.

Even if things had gone wrong today and the Duke of Linchester had noticed that the Black Knight was only after one target, it would have been no threat to Julian in the first place.

The royal records roughly listed the number of black knights that the previous successors of the curse could move.

Usually between ten and fifteen. It has been recorded that rare and powerful successors could command up to thirty black knights.

But the number of black knights that Bridget is seeing now is...

This is why people were talking about Julian as the heir to an unprecedentedly strong curse.

It was no exaggeration to say that he alone demonstrated the fighting power of a legion on the battlefield.

So many things were contained with in his shadow. It must have been dense.

Bridget looked at Julian with a face full of despair and horror, then placed her hand on his chest.

"Put it in, Julian. Don't waste your life. But I'll get rid of them somehow. Somehow!"

A burst of purifying power flowed from Bridget's hands and covered Julian's heart.

Julian pulled Bridget into his arms and kissed her, a low laugh escaping from his throat.

"It's no use. So do this with me."

His tongue invaded her again.

It was a kiss that took her mind off things, preventing her from trying.
