TCIWTFY - Part 2 Chapter 59

"Ma'am, ma'am."

Her husband's bedroom, which she rarely visited on a regular basis. She had neither the time nor the intention to wait patiently.

"Madam, please calm down and be calm..."

"Do you think I have to rip that mouth open to get out?"

Catherine, not listening to Raju's words, pushed the terrified maid away and strode into the bedroom.

"Whoa! You're really being mean..."

"...Haha, yeah, yeah..."

The man's low and middle voices overlapped with the annoying high notes.

But one step at a time. One step at a time.

The closer Catherine gets to the bedroom door, the more clearly she can hear the voice.

"Just give birth to a son. A healthy and strong child. I will do anything for that."

"What the heck? Are you really going to do anything for me?"

"Graham. Of course. If you just give birth to a son, there's nothing I wouldn't do for you. You're the noble person who continued my lineage when it was almost extinct."

The relaxed tone was filled with complete satisfaction as if he were the King of gold and had nothing to regret.

"Um, what if you kick out your wife and give her position to me?"

"Hehe, you rascal. Do you want to become Joaquin's real wife? Yes, I'll make it happen, so be prepared. I'll even throw you a big, grand wedding."

"Whoa!"

Catherine clenched her fists. Her nails dug painfully into her flesh.

That old man flirting with the woman behind the door and promising to marry her was her husband.

Although there may not have been love, he was a husband and lifelong companion with whom she raised children for over ten years and shared the ups and downs of life.

Shock and betrayal surged like a tidal wave from deep within her heart.

"Uh-huh, uh-huh..."

Catherine clutched her chest.

Her heart felt like it was going to burst. Her vision was dizzy and she couldn't breathe.

But the pain soon turned to boiling anger. She jumped to her feet.

And then bam-!

Catherine threw open the bedroom door.

"Joaquin...! This shameless human ..."

"What, what?!"

Joaquin jumped up from his seat as if he had seen a ghost.

"Catherine? Why are you here... no..."

Joaquin, half-naked, pauses for a moment when he sees his wife standing tall like a gatekeeper at the doоr.

"This, this is, this is, this is, this is, nothing...!"

He soon realized that his wife had caught the woman lying next to me.

"What are you doing now?"

The color drained from Joaquin's face at his wife's frosty question.

Catherine wasn't stupid. And she knew her husband inside and out.

"I guess I should go now."

"You figure it out. There's no need to bother me with such trivial matters."

Joaquin, who had been cold and uninterested in his son's work lately, was absent-minded.

That bastard, worse than a dog, gave up his own crippled child to have a new child.

Although Catherine had been in a long-term relationship with Raju, she was paradoxically disgusted by her husband's infidelity.

She was upright.

She was proud that she had done all he could for this family by simply giving birth to the child of that human trash.

But, seeing in front of her eyes the pitiful sight of a man abandoning his wife and children to please a mongrel woman of unknown origin to continue a mere family line, she felt a surge of humiliation.

Catherine's face turned as fierce as a red bull. She rushed at Joaquin.

"How could this be! Right now, what has become of your son! Do you think you can do such a dirty thing? Yes? You beast of a son! You are worse than a dog!"

"Dude, are you crazy?"

"Then you won't go crazy and just endure it? You're acting like this? I'll kill you! I'll kill all of you!"

"Gyaaaak-! S-save me!"

It was chaos.

"What did I do! How can you do this to me!"

"What did you do?! Who do you think it is that you've been living well since marrying me? To put it bluntly, if a mother took good care of her child, would Samon be lying there like that right now? Huh?"

Joaquin, who was being torn and beaten to pieces, started screaming loudly.

"I did nothing wrong! If you look at it, you were the one who caused the problem by taking care of the child wrongly!"

"What's so great about you, Joaquin?! Who are you, an idiot with no ability or spirit, blaming? I endured it with you because we're family, and yet you dare betray me...!"

Catherine rushed at her husband and mistress like a madman, leaving red fingernail marks on Joaquin's chest.

Through the sharp pain, he soon found Raju behind Catherine.

'Even if you bring the Count and invade and throw your husband's face into the ground, it's not worth it.'

Joaquin was already feeling inferior because his son, Samon, neglected him and was getting close to Raju.

He was filled with anger at the thought that he had shown him the whole disgrace of not only committing adultery but also getting caught by his wife.

"This crazy woman is really...!"

Crack!

There was a sharp noise of flesh hitting flesh.

Catherine, who had fallen over in shock, opened her eyes wide and held onto the ball.

Her words came out in a stammering voice as if she couldn't believe it,

"... Did you, did you just hit me...?"

Joaquin bit his lip. He too was extremely embarrassed.

She didn't intend to raise her hand like that, but she thought she had to stop her wife somehow in front of Raju.

"That's because you're acting like a crazy lunatic! You can ignore your husband and still get what you want! Where did you get the arrogant hand? Do you think you're still the same Duchess you used to be?"

"Where are you talking big?! You're nothing special either! You're not a Duke, you're a commoner who was even expelled from the royal family!"

"Shut up!"

She, too, had a hard time stopping her verbal abuse as her reason was clouded by the effects of the drug.

"I'm glad that Valdina didn't fall into the hands of a foolish and shameless person like you. Ha! The throne? Honestly?! You're not even comparable to the former King! You're not even comparable to your nephew, the current King! That's your level. This kind of dirty trickery is just right for you."

As Catherine continued to scream and refused to give up, Joaquin became even angrier.

The feeling of guilt that had been faintly rising in his chest subsided in an instant.

"Even so...!"

He kicked his wife, who was lying on the floor. No, he tried to.

"Ugh-!"

That is until he was knocked out by Raju's fist.

It was the moment when Joaquin slapped Catherine on the cheek.

A fire flashed in Raju's eyes. A flame that had been lit in his chest began to simmer.

Amid his anxiety over Jared's work, he witnessed his beloved lover being beaten right in front of him.

Raju couldn't help but roll his eyes.

"Do you know what I did because of your son, who is nothing special? And yet you dare hit my woma ln?"

Ugh. Ugh.

There was nothing in Raju's eyes.

The old hatred he had was blinding him.

Joaquin Claudio.

A bastard who stole his woman for life, calling himself a Prince or a famous person.

The guy who made me raise my daughter as someone else's daughter!

Raju wanted to smash that arrogant face one day.

"Ugh, Ugh! Stop it!"

"Ugh, ugh..."

I will crush the hand that raised my woman, and cut off the lower body that made my woman cry.

"Haa, haa."

"Ro, Robert..."

The flames never went out. Catherine's terrified cries fell on deaf ears.

"I told you, you know, don't mess with me."

Raju was groaning. Seeing the lump starting to swell after being pounded hard gave him an inexplicable sense of pleasure.

"AAAAAHHHH!"

And at some point, a shrill scream was heard in Raju's dazed ears.

In the place where the fire cooled down as if it had been poured with cold water.

Only the corpse of Joaquin Claudio, who had already died, remained.
