THYU - Chapter 158

Violet asked with a stern expression.

“What kind of rudeness is this? Raising your voice without any explanation.”

“Sorry, I’m sorry, I was in a hurry...”

Violet continued, looking at the bewildered bank manager.

“Please come in quickly, we are looking inside.”

Then, Jen spoke seriously from the side.

“If our little lady catches a cold, will you take responsibility? No, of course you should take responsibility, but how will you take responsibility?”

The bank manager, who was trembling with fear, spoke to Violet urgently.

“I don’t know what the hell you’re trying to find out.”

Then Violet said quietly.

“That’s right. That’s something that Lord Kenjes would know.”

“By what right do you have to do this! Isn’t this an abuse of authority!”

“We got a check signed by Ash Lawrence from drug dealers up north.”

“Oh, you’re saying this because of a single piece of paper that you don’t even know how it came in? And if it’s drugs, then wouldn’t it be Sir Carlson who shot your husband while under the influence of drugs a while ago? You’ve been hanging out with His Highness Ash since you were young!”

“That will be confirmed through investigation.”

At Violet's words, the bank manager couldn't breathe properly and became lost in thought.

It was obvious that she had been sharpening her knife to repay this someday. The bank manager ran into the bank in a panic.

Jen said indignantly at the sight.

“Oh my, he's been eating up our little lady’s fortune for three years. I really hope he gets thrown in jail!”

“That's right.”

“Lord Ash, what kind of confidence did he have to deal drugs?”

“With the royal wealth running low, he must have thought he could wield his power to refill the treasury. Easily.”

“But it’ll still happen eventually...”

Violet responded to Jen's words with a sense of shame.

“Because once he becomes King, he is exempt from investigation. It’s an old law of Rockround. I heard that no matter how much trouble he caused as Crown Prince, once he ascended to the throne, you can’t dig it up, so there were often troublemakers.”

“Ugh, Lord Ash, he was thinking of somehow getting back on the throne? After disbanding the royal family?”

Violet nodded as Zen frowned.

“Yeah. That’s what it looks like.”

She felt increasingly ashamed of that fact.

Then Violet started to groan with a headache, and Jen freaked out and wrapped the blanket around her body again.

“Go back to the mansion quickly, young lady. Oh, even though it’s past the early stages, you’ve already come to such a dangerous place... Do you have a bad headache?”

Violet, who rarely complained of pain, writhed with her head in her hands, then swore.

“Damn, is this too much? I’ll die right now!”

At that curse, Jen screamed in surprise as she realized that Violet and Winter's bodies had switched.

"CEO!"

“Bring me the medicine, the medicine!”

“Oh, no! The little lady said it’s not good for the baby, so don’t even bother giving her medicine!”

“How can you leave it like this? Go out and buy it!”

At his shouting, Jen suddenly calmed down and asked.

“Huh? It’s not like the little lady is sick... Since you’re not sick all the time, can’t you bear with it for a bit?”

Winter, who was about to lose his temper due to his headache and feeling shaky, thought Jen's words were logical, so he crumpled his expression, leaned back, and clicked his tongue.

“A dog God...”

“Still, I’m glad that she can rest for a little while, my lady!”

“That’s true, but I’m in pain right now, so I’m going to kill that damned foreign God!”

Violet had somehow managed to adapt to her weak body, but Winter had not. He couldn't figure out how she had managed to eat anything in this condition.

Winter thought it was fortunate that he could suffer in her place for a little while, but he kept repeating over and over that he had to kill God.

While Winter was suffering, Jen, who was secretly delighted that her little lady was free from morning sickness even for a moment, asked for a piece of paper and a pen and wrote down the things she had to do.

“You go and telegraph this. This meeting too... Wait, this too. Oh, ask again at the meeting if they can make it into a kit. They’ll absolutely say no. Then grab them by the collar.”

"Yes!"

Jen ran out of the carriage excitedly. After that, Winter, distressed by all the smells on the road, urged the coachman to hurry home.

As soon as Hayel found out that Violet was in the CEO's body, he was so excited that he didn't know what to do. He read the list that Jen had sent him and followed along, swaying and jumping.

“Okay, the meeting has ended well, so now you can look over some documents and then go to the next meeting.”

“Shouldn’t you go home?”

“No! Now is the time. The boss can’t concentrate on his work because he’s worried about his wife. Isn’t the reason you sent him this list so that he can do the work for you while you’re at it?”

“Well, I guess I’ll have to eat a lot at the dinner table later. My husband can’t eat anything because of me.”

“That’s a good idea.”

She's sorry to say this, but once Violet was free from morning sickness, everything in the world seemed beautiful and every smell seemed fragrant.

As she walked down the hallway to the meeting, people from the company approached her cautiously.

“Oh, congratulations!”

They greeted each other like that and quickly stepped back as if they expected Winter to get angry and throw something at them even if they congratulated each other like that.

But Violet smiled and shook people's hands lightly.

“Thank you.”

“...What did I do wrong?”

“I’m going to be a father soon, so I can’t be happy or sad right?”

“Is that so?”

Every time they shook Violet's hand, the employees thought they were definitely going to be fired and ran straight to the HR department.

While others were flustered or not, Hayel was smiling brightly. Winter didn't flip the table in the meeting, didn't say he was going home because he was worried about his wife, and didn't find fault with his employees one by one, so there was no complaint. He was to the point where he wanted to ask if they could go on a business trip to a hotel all over the continent right now.

Moreover, whenever there was a problem at work, Violet would send a telegram home and Winter would answer her faithfully, unlike usual when he would tell Violet to take care of it herself. Hayel pushed Violet's back, wishing that the two of them would switch bodies more often.

Violet successfully finished the dinner meeting and took care of other urgent matters, and then she started writing her speech with a clear mind. In the middle of it, Hayel came into the office with a lot of requests, and she spoke to him.

“I’m really jealous of my husband’s body, which doesn’t get tired even after working all day.”

“That’s why. I said that if you don’t get tired, you don’t think others will get tired either. Please tell me, Madam.”

“I’ll say it again.”

“When the CEO shows up, the company is like a sheet of thin ice. So, there is an advantage in that people are happier when the CEO is away. You could call it a public enemy.”

“I understand.”

“By the way, what will you name your child?”

“Already?”

As Violet laughed, Hayel urged her on.

“But you still have to give it a name!”

“The Lawrence family has a tendency to give their children long names. To the point where they are difficult to pronounce. They say that this way, even if they are babies, they can still have the dignity of royalty...”

“The CEO is good at flower names!”

“...Did my husband say something to you that he didn’t say to me?”

“Of course. The Lawrence family’s given name is long. You dare not say anything.”

“What kind of flower do you like?”

“Rose. Rosie.”

“It could be a boy.”

“When I said that, he said, ‘What’s wrong with the boy’s name being Rosie? Or would you rather have him be named Gold?’”

"Gold?"

"Yes."

It was the nickname of her older brother Wayne, who had left early. Violet knew all too well why her husband had thought that.

Once Winter said that if it was a son, he could be named Wayne. But Violet was against it. Wayne didn't live long, so she only wanted her child to be healthy and take after her husband.

That's why Winter couldn't tell him anymore.

Violet smiled.

"Gold..."

“Little Madam?”

“I think that would be good, me too.”

“Are you sure?”

When Hayel asked with a smile, Violet nodded.

“I always owe you a favor.”

Hayel paused at Violet's affectionate gaze as she spoke and muttered.

“When you look at me like that, Sir, it’s really...”

"Huh?"

“...I feel uncomfortable. I guess I’ve gotten used to the violence.”

“Oh, like that.”

“You don’t have to feel sorry.”

Hayel said with a deep sigh. At that moment, a loud noise was heard from outside, and Ash came in with a crumpled expression.

“Winter Blooming!”

Beside him, the bodyguards who couldn't stop Ash stood with embarrassed expressions. Violet made a troubled expression. She didn't know that her brother would come to see Winter like this out of the blue. Could it be that he had come to Winter often like this before?

Thinking about it that way, Violet couldn't help but feel sorry for her husband.

"What?"

“You asked my mother to buy the whole island, right? And you’re even claiming that the drug dealers in the north have ties to me!”

“How dare you. There’s evidence.”

Ash gritted his teeth in anger at Violet's calm response and said.

“Do you think I haven’t caught any of Violet’s weaknesses? Do you know how far the marriage talks between Carlson and Violet have progressed?”

“I heard. I even heard that you poured alcohol on my wife during a family meeting and that you said something degrading to me at that meeting.”

“I told you exactly what happened. By the way, I heard Violet had a child.”

Before he could finish his words, Violet walked over and grabbed Ash by the collar. It was something Winter would do, but Ash's expression turned pale.

“Wh, what are you doing!”

Violet said as she pushed Ash down the hallway and slammed him against the back wall.

“Say it again. I am a foreigner and a vulgar person.”

“Aw, Winter Blooming!”

“And wasn’t there something else you wanted to say about pregnancy?”

“...That wasn’t it.”

Looking at Ash's surprised expression at the grab by the collar, Violet could tell that Winter had been suppressing his temper and looking after him all this time.

Violet clicked her tongue, let go of her hand, and stepped back. Ash glared at her and said,

“How dare you grab me by the collar.”

"Dare?"

Violet tilted her head slightly and asked.

“I am the successor to the Blooming family. I don’t think you should call me ‘dare’. How can you still think you are royalty after dismantling the royal family yourself?”

“What, what?”

Ash realized that the other person was not the Winter Blooming he had known, who had been holding his wife in check. His dignified posture and gaze overwhelmed Ash.

She opened her mouth with Winter's body.

“If you want to work, go somewhere.”

"This person..."

“Wait a minute. What crime has the lady you are marrying committed? Stop that too.”

"Shut up!"

“Where did you learn to raise your voice like that? It’s so rude that I can’t stand it.”

Ash, who had been trying to take advantage of Winter by taking advantage of his younger sister's weakness, felt that he had nothing to gain from coming here.

With a crumpled expression, he eventually turned around and quickly left the place.
