HFMD - Chapter 75 < Don't Stop >

Lang was pondering over who would be the Crown Prince among the two people, the old man, and the young man.

"OMG...!"

The young man suddenly turned his head in the direction where Lang was. Lang, who suddenly met the young man's gaze, opened his eyes wide in surprise.

“Oh, oh, oh!”

Lang, who had been flustered, lowered his body a step too late. He quickly crouched down and hid himself, grabbing my hair and tearing it.

“Look, did you see? Our eyes... clearly met...”

His heart pounded anxiously. Lang rolled his eyes as he hunched over.

“Would it have seemed more suspicious if I had suddenly sat down? No, but I am in human form right now, so there shouldn’t be a problem... right? Is there a problem?”

Lang was rambling and crying. Following Auston's instructions to never stand out, he suppressed his curiosity and didn't leave the lab. Why would a human turn his head and find him at this particular time?

“I don’t think I’ll be caught if our eyes meet for a moment, right? But just in case, I’ll have to stay like this until those humans disappear...”

Lang crouched down with his back against the window and sighed deeply. He occasionally muttered, “Oh, you idiot,” and banged his head. Meanwhile, in the meantime.

“Your Highness? Where are you looking?”

“...”

As David was leaving Belfort Castle, he suddenly fixed his gaze on a certain part of the building and did not move. The magician accompanying him made a strange sound. However, David remained silent and fixed his gaze on a window in a corner of the castle. It was where a young man with brown hair had hidden in fear when his eyes met with his a moment ago. David stared at the window, which did not show anything, for a while, and then raised the corners of his mouth.

“...They’re raising something interesting at Belfort Castle.”

"Yes?"

“It’s nothing. Bye.”

David strode briskly toward the main gate of Belfort Castle, ignoring the wizard's question. His face once again took on a cold expression, as if it had never smiled before.

'A demon in human form...'

It was interesting. Who would have thought that 'that' Randall Belfort would disguise the demons as humans and bring them into the castle?

For whatever reason, if this fact were to be known to the outside world, Randall would be in a lot of trouble. However, David decided to ask about this.

'Not now.'

At least it wasn’t time to destroy the Duke of Belfort yet. David smiled as he looked back at the castle one last time before leaving. He and his party were soon enveloped in light and disappeared.

***

Since the day David had suddenly visited Belfort Castle, Sylvia had been keeping an eye on Randall without letting on, but fortunately, he hadn’t changed much. If she had to name a change... I guess it would be that he had gotten a little more aggressive in bed. As a result, Sylvia woke up half-asleep again just as noon was approaching. She checked the sunlight streaming in through the gap in the curtains, tossing and turning, and straightening her posture. And just as she was about to fall back asleep, a strong, thick arm wrapped around her waist. Sylvia, startled by the sweltering heat she felt behind her, opened her eyes wide and looked back.

“Randall?”

“Good morning, Sylvia.”

“Why aren’t you out yet? I thought you weren’t there.”

“I’ve been busy working in the capital, since I came back, so I think I can afford to take a day off.”

Randall, who was laughing like a mischievous boy, hugged Sylvia from behind and kissed her here and there on her face. When Sylvia burst into a small laugh, saying it was ticklish, he laughed along. They giggled and played around like that until their lips naturally met.

"Hmm..."

A thin moan escaped from their lips that had touched. The kiss, which had been playful and light at first, gradually became serious. Randall's bare hand ran down Sylvia's back, and Sylvia's bare hand dug into his hair. Before they knew it, the two of them were entangled like vines, and their breathing became labored. Then, Sylvia, who was dizzy from lack of breath, had no choice but to reach out and push Randall's face away.

“Wait, just a moment... I can’t breathe...”

Sylvia quickly caught her breath while her lips parted with Randall's. Randall stared blankly at Sylvia, who was lying on her back on the bed, holding her between his arms as if he was holding her there. Sylvia, who was catching her breath, tilted her head.

“Why are you looking at me like that?”

"...Just."

Randall slowly moved his lips and let out a mirage-like laugh.

“It’s so amazing and I’m so grateful that you’re alive and breathing right next to me.”

“...”

Sylvia paused for a moment, unable to find the words to say. Her golden eyes instinctively scanned Randall’s expression. As usual, he was smiling, looking at her with love.

‘...Am I just too sensitive?’

Sylvia met Randall's gaze with a slightly disturbed expression. Then he pushed her disheveled hair over her forehead and gave her a soft kiss.

“Are you very tired? Your expression doesn’t look good. Then just...”

“Oh, no.”

As Randall anxiously tried to get up, Sylvia wrapped her arms around his neck. The distance between them narrowed again in an instant. Sylvia whispered quietly, close enough that their breaths would mingle and their lips would touch at any moment.

“...Don’t stop.”

“...”

“Keep going.”

At the provocation-like words, his green eyes suddenly changed. He swallowed a groan that seemed to be scratching his throat and hurriedly sought out Sylvia's lips. The flames quickly flared up again as if they had died down.

***

Several days passed, but there was no twisting. Finally, Auston, unable to bear it any longer, went to Sylvia and shouted.

“Please, can’t you send that guy to Kelvetia somehow? He keeps singing next to me all day about wanting to go out, I’m going crazy...”

Auston knelt down beside Sylvia on the sofa, frustrated. Sylvia clicked her tongue and closed the book she was reading.

“Are you talking about Lang?”

“Then who else would there be?”

Auston answered with a face that had become noticeably pale over the past few days. Sylvia said with a look of great pity on his face.

“It must be tough. But what can I do? There won’t be any twisting.”

“Your Grace, you are good at using magic. Is there anything like a moving magic circle that connects to Kelvetia?”

“...”

Sylvia's fingertips trembled at Auston's question. She held her breath for a moment, then answered with a calm smile.

“...Where would something like that be possible?”

“I guess so...? Then, do I have to keep that chatterbox by my side forever...?”

Auston wailed with half-tears in his eyes. When he finally fell to the floor with a “whoosh,” cold sweat flowed down Sylvia’s back. Knowing the magic circle leading to Kelvetia but pretending not to know, her conscience, which was almost worn out, prickled for no reason. Sylvia, who was sweating profusely, rolled her head. She clapped her hands together with a loud clank as thoughts flashed through her mind.

“Auston.”

“Ugh. Yes?”

Auston stopped sniffling and looked up with a puzzled expression. Sylvia smiled at him.

“Don’t do that. Let’s go out. Lang too.”

“Huh?”

Auston made a bewildered sound. Sylvia continued.

“Didn’t you say that he was making a lot of noise because he was curious about what was going on outside? Wouldn’t it be better if he and I went outside for a while under Randall’s supervision so that things would quiet down a bit?”

“Will you do that?”

“If you want, since it’s so hard for you.”

“Thank you, Ma’am!”

Auston was overjoyed that Randall and Sylvia were together. He left the room in a cheerful mood, saying that he would bring Lang. Sylvia also instructed him to call Randall, who was working in the castle today.

'It's not bad for a random thought.'

By letting Lang go out, he will become more docile, and by making Lang more docile, she will save Auston. While she's at it, Randall and her will also enjoy a long-awaited outing. It was a plan that killed two birds with one stone, no, three birds with one stone.

'If I think about it, it was Randall who always suggested we go out. I hope he's a little happier.'

Sylvia prepared to go out, trying hard to suppress her throbbing heart without thinking. Not long after, the servant who heard her order called Randall over.

"Ma'am."

As soon as Randall saw Sylvia, he smiled as if he was about to melt and lightly kissed her cheek. Sylvia looked at Randall with a slightly bewildered look.

“...I guess this has become a habit now? I guess you become shameless.”

“What are you talking about?”

“This is exactly the part.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Randall, who kept his ignorance, lowered his lips to Sylvia's fingertips again. Sylvia finally burst out laughing at his actions that contradicted his words. Randall also smiled playfully as if responding. Sylvia's face, looking at Randall like that, was filled with affection that she couldn't hide.

“So, what’s the matter, ma’am?”

“I want to ask you out on a date.”

"...Yes?"

“Do you have some time?”

***

About an hour later.

“... You clearly did say it was a date, did you?”

Randall had a sullen face, his hood pulled down. Sylvia let out a small laugh at the discontent in his voice and took his hand.

“It’s a date, right? I think they call it a double date these days?”

“Don’t say such horrible things.”

Auston, who was walking in front of Randall and Sylvia, frowned. Beside him was Lang, who, like the others, had a human-like appearance and wore a hood pulled down low.

“Wow! This is where the humans are...!”

“Idiot, I told you not to use the word ‘human.’”

“Oh, that’s right.”

Auston held onto the hem of Lang's cloak with one hand, trying to hold him back from running around whenever he took his eyes off him. Sylvia spoke to Randall as she watched a demon and a human walking ahead.

“I think things are going pretty well, except for the fact that they bicker every minute or so. Don’t you think so?”

“...”

“Randall?”

“...”

“Randall, are you upset?”

"No."

Randall pouted and grumbled when asked if he was upset. Sylvia bit her lip, fearing that if she burst out laughing, Randall would really get upset.

'How does this guy look cuter as time goes by?'

She was deeply troubled. Sometimes she even thought that she could understand some Kings who were madly in love and almost ruined their kingdoms. Sylvia was also willing to move a mountain if Randall asked her to.

'Of course, that won't happen.'

Sylvia imagined Randall asking her to move a mountain, and then she let out a small laugh. As she had expected, Randall asked her straight away.

“Are you laughing now?”

“Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to tease you.”

“Anyone who sees you right now can tell that you look like you're desperate to make fun of him.”

“Why would I bother with something like that? I wouldn’t mind it if I were in bed.”

“Sylvia.”

When Sylvia blurted out something so casually, Randall blushed and reprimanded her. At that moment, Auston suddenly stopped walking. Randall reflexively stopped walking and grabbed Sylvia who was staggering.

“Auston? Why are you...”

Sylvia, who was calling out to Auston in a bewildered manner, realized something and stopped talking. The sight before her eyes seemed somehow different from before?

The moment she thought that Auston slowly turned around with a pale face and spoke.

“Ma'am, Ma'am.”

“...”

“Lang, it’s gone... He lost...”
