THYU - Chapter 102

Kanik employees became cautious about the 'conditions' brought by the Heston family.

Giannis continued calmly.

"To summarize, our conditions are that at the title succession ceremony. Lord Winter Blooming will be introduced as the successor to the Blooming family, and Lady Violet Lawrence will be treated as the head of the Lawrence family."

The staff whispered into Anjali's ear as she sat leaning on a chair.

The elders of the Heston family, who were angry at first, quickly calmed down to the terms of the agreement brought by Kanik. Winter Blooming was planning to cut through the Heston family with a sharp knife because they had touched his wife.

Anjali carefully considered the conditions for Giannis to dismiss the whole plan. He had no idea how much shame she had suffered for being born into a prestigious family and working for a stranger. She was treated coldly in social circles to the point where she was afraid to enter at all. However, she was a relatively realistic person, and her choice was ultimately correct.

Compared to when Anjali first started working, the way the nobles treated her now was a world of difference. And the conditions Giannis put forward were surprising even for such changes.

As in Winter's case, the Heston family, which is more conservative than the Lawrence family, treats Violet, the second child and daughter, as the head of the family even though the first son and his mother are proud.

Anjali checked the documents that her secretary brought, listing the huge amount of compensation. With a calm face, she folded the document neatly, handed it back to the secretary, and said.

"Contact the CEO. I will accept these conditions."

"Vice President!"

The employees were very confused, but Anjali thought that what Giannis had offered was sufficient terms for the deal.

After a while, the Kanik employee who had sent the telegram to the mansion returned.

"The CEO will also accept the conditions."

Anjali shrugged her shoulders as if to say something.

When the meeting ended, the entire Heston family sighed in exhaustion.

***

Anjali returned to the mansion with six roses with mysterious milky petals, a gift from the Heston family.

After hearing the whole story from Anjali, who came to the office, Winter frowned and asked.

"What does it mean to treat you as the head of the family?"

"I don't know exactly about that. I think you'll have to go and see."

"Right. And what kind of useless flowers did you get?"

When Winter gestured at the rose with a disapproving expression, Anjali spoke calmly.

"This is a gift to the little lady. Not the CEO."

"Yes? Then what?"

Winter agreed.

Anjali asked after the report was over.

"Anyway, I'll go back to the meeting. CEO, when can you come to work?"

"When my wife lifts the ban on going out."

In fact, Winter had not taken a single step outside the mansion because his wife had forbidden him to go out. He did everything as she pleased, a sight that had never been seen before. Anjali concealed her embarrassment, bowed her head, and left the office.

"I really can't keep up with the speed at which the world is changing."

Today, Anjali experienced many changes in the world, but the most shocking thing was the fact that Winter was following his wife's words like law.

On a topic that doesn't really follow the law.

***

Anjali left, and Winter, with a sour expression on his face, held a pot of roses in one arm and creaked his way to his wife's study. After the first tutor quit and three more tutors were kicked out, Violet decided to take charge of Winter's education herself. Fortunately, she gave up on making him read all 100 hooks. Instead, she was now dutifully summarizing conversations for use in social circles. Thanks to this, Violet, who lived in the study, turned her head and smiled at the sound of her husband heard between the bookshelves.

"For now, I can still hear you coming."

"Stop being cute and look at this."

As Winter put the flower pot down on the table, Violet asked, more surprised than he expected.

"This is a Heston rose, right? Shouldn't you take it outside the family?"

"How do you know?"

"Because it's depicted in the sentence."

Winter was the first to notice it. He made a deal with the Heston family, and even though every letter they brought him had a seal on it, he ignored it and passed it over.

Violet muttered after reading Winter's shocked expression.

"Next, you have to memorize my family's emblems."

"Stop torturing me because I'm going to die like this."

"If you just listen a little more carefully..."

"Shall we focus on the roses, Princess?"

As Winter pointed to the rose pot, Violet reluctantly nodded.

Winter continued.

"We decided to open the lake when there was a drought. We had a meeting and received it as a gift."

Violet looked at the flower with admiration. She smiled and continued her words.

"You brought this flower... It means I'll be on your side, right?"

"No, I mean I want to look good to you. It's your gift."

"A gift from me? It was an agreement between Kanik and the Heston family."

"What is that? Ash Lawrence People will eventually realize that he is a worthless piece of trash. And they will want you to play the role of King. All we have to do is prepare for that time."

Violet looked embarrassed at his words.

"Ah... I have no intention of doing that."

"Why?"

"Because my father put Rockround in danger. The national project was an attempt that had to be made. It was just dangerous. And you saved Rockround through marriage."

"No. It was you who saved me."

"You were the one who tried to save Rockround."

"It was because I wanted something in return."

"Numerous heroes in the history of Rockround all received compensation. You will be one of them."

Violet spoke in a voice that sounded both decisive and cold.

Winter paused at her words. He thought that no word had as much to do with him as the word hero. But when those words came out of Violet's mouth, he was embarrassed and suddenly the nape of his neck felt hot and burning. He cleared his throat and passed off his embarrassment as a joke.

"Then shouldn't that be recorded somewhere? I'm worried that my descendants will not know about my accomplishments."

"Don't worry. Because It is recorded in many newspapers and in banks."

Violet said calmly as if she had taken this joke seriously. Then Winter tried one more joke.

"Then tell them not to write that I wanted a title."

"You must not distort the facts."

"Ah, so stubborn."

He pretended to be upset, but his expression seemed very happy.

He never once thought of his life as that of a hero. It probably didn't look that way at all to others. But it didn't matter. That's what Violet said, and at least that's how it seemed in her eyes.

***

The person who was such a workaholic ate, slept, and rested all day, and became more active than before the accident.
Contrary to the doctor's words that it would take a month, Winter had the split removed in just 15 days.

Winter, who came out of a refreshing bath after a long time, placed his injured leg on the floor and smiled.

Hayel said, bringing the wand again.

"CEO, it's not all better, so you should still use the cane."

"No."

He refused the cane and tried walking. Although he still felt some pain, he was now able to get around without a cane. If others had done rehabilitation in such a haphazard manner, he would never have gotten better, but as the doctor said, Winter's recovery was amazing

Hayel said, watching his steps.

"That's fine with the cane, but don't run. Unless you want to suffer when you get older."

"Stop talking nonsense and get out."

"More than that, the director recovered the airship safe. There I found a notebook with flight records. I'm glad the record was helpful."

At those words, Winter belatedly looked at Hayel in surprise

"Note? There..."

"Are you writing that you regret getting married? Of course, I checked first and tore it up. Are you still being unlucky?"

Good job.

Winter frowned in relief.

Then, no matter how much he thought about it, he turned to Hayel and asked if he still didn't understand.

"Wasn't I always fearless!"

"It's a problem because there aren't enough of them."

"But these days, it seems like there are no such cowards."

"Well. I have time, so I'll look into it when I get married. Is this what happens when you get married?"

"I don't need your advice."

Winter waved his hand quickly as if to get out of the way and then left the office. As he walked into the garden to show Violet hia condition as quickly as possible he saw her coming back.

She was wearing a straw hat and a light blue summer dress and was putting apples in a basket. Her maids, including Jen, who was with her, were laughing, wondering what was so funny, and Violet was covering her mouth with her hand and curling the corners of her eyes. Then, the maids found Winter standing in front of the stairs connected to Violet's room with an unpleasant look on their faces, greeted him, and hurriedly disappeared.

Violet said as she approached.

"Why are you making such a scary expression? Everyone is surprised."

"It's a surprised expression. It's effective."

Why do you intentionally scare people?

Violet said while sighing and lightly nodding at Winter's leg.

"I see you already took the splint off."

"You are free now."

"Good for you."

Violet smiled and took out an apple from the basket.

"I'll give it to you as a gift."

"Uh, huh."

Winter wiped the bright red ripe apple on his clothes and then bit into it. He then ate the large apple in an instant and threw most of it on the ground. Violet, who was quietly watching the scene, also took out an apple, hung the basket on her arm, and wiped the dust from her skirt.

And then she carefully took a bite. Winter laughed at that sight.
"Have you decided to copy everything I do?"

"Only what looks good."

Winter smiled slightly at Violet's answer. Violet asked worriedly.

"But shouldn't I have a cane?"

"I feel so sorry for you that I decided to stop writing. I felt a lot better."

Winter's galt was definitely a little creaky. but he seemed to be almost completely healed. He said.

"Before the succession ceremony, we go to the northern villa a little early. I'd like to think about how you might use it in the future."

Then Violet nodded and answered.

"I've been thinking about it, the northern villa. I think it would be good to use it as a wedding hall."

"Wedding hall? Isn't it too dark?"

"Not everyone likes bright and cheerful weddings. Some people will want a quiet wedding, with a priest."

"It's a wedding at the villa. It must look aristocratic."

"Is that so?"

"Which one do you like?"

When Winter asked, Violet thought for a moment and then opened her mouth.

"I like the villa during the day and the garden at night. For some reason, you have the same tastes as me. But we're getting married, so of course, it has to be long, from day to night. Otherwise, it would be nice to have the ceremony at the villa and the reception in the garden. The garden is large, so everyone who wants to come can come, and guests can eat freely."

"Surely, no party fails more than a party that lacks food."

"Wow. I never thought there would be a time when my princess would think the same way as me."

Winter said, lowering his head and making eye contact

"The thoughts on welcoming guests are the same."

They say couples look alike. Even though it was different at first...

"Maybe we're starting to resemble each other now."
