THYU - Chapter 49

However, Violet had always been an incomparably noble Princess to Winter, so even he couldn't guarantee that those words would never come out. Winter said in an uncertain tone.

"I try hard, but I just ignore things that come out of nowhere. Because you are so Princess-like and have military responsibilities."

"Of course."

"The deadline is May 20th. Exactly three months later."

"I do."

There was a three-month deadline.

Winter looked happy at the harvest beyond his imagination, and Violet also spoke with a somewhat satisfied expression.

"After that day, I'm really done with you."

"Yes."

"I guess we won't have to meet again in the future."

Winter raised one corner of his mouth and spoke with a sneer at her words, which seemed to make him feel relieved just thinking about them.

"Even if you want to meet me, I won't meet you."

Violet paused for a moment at his words and then nodded.

The two sat facing each other at a round table covered with a spring-like light yellow tablecloth and briefly wrote down their discussion on paper.

The marriage was also an arranged marriage, but this time it was a period of deliberation with the details of the contract being discussed.

Winter was sitting across from her with his chin resting on one hand, looking at Violet with a happy face as she signed the contract.

It made him feel better to think that he had three months to legally see her before he died. She gets what she wants and what he wants. He can give her everything he has, and for her, it will be a contract in which he disappears.

"I have a question."

"Say it."

When Violet gave graceful permission, lifting her chin slightly as always, Winter opened his mouth.

"Anyway, the consideration period means trying to avoid divorce as much as possible. Shouldn't we decide on a method of effort?"

"So."

"Let's write down the exact number of times we meet. Oh, and a kiss too."

"It's okay to meet each other, but kissing is not allowed."

When the kiss was mentioned, Violet wondered if Winter might feel that her run away was just a one-year business trip.

"I'll give you someone to talk to."

"You won't have anyone to talk to. Are you going to listen to me say things like "I hate you?"

"You're rude,"

"Get out of my house for three months, and then just get a divorce?"

"Yes."

"Third time."

Winter spread three fingers.

"Let's just do it three times, kiss."

Violet hesitated. Her kisses with him were always so sweet that even the back of her neck felt tingly. She planned to finalize her relationship with Winter here. Therefore, his sweetness may become a trap that keeps her in that hell again.

But after a year, the complicated feelings she had for Winter were probably diluted, and three kisses wouldn't have shaken her firm decision to divorce. Rather, it may be an opportunity to check how much her feelings about him have been resolved.

After gathering her thoughts for a while, Violet opened her mouth.

"Okay, three times. Instead, you can't sleep."

"Good. By the way, you can do it whenever you want."

Violet was slightly Impressed by Winter's teasing words. Winter was so happy to see that angry face after a long time that he even laughed without realizing it. It's been such a long time that he felt awkward smiling like that.

Winter said, rolling his pen.

"And the rest of the skinship will be as cooperative as possible."

"Exactly what the rest is."

"Handshakes and hugs."

"I will allow it."

Once the contract was completed, Winter took one copy and Violet placed the other under the bed. Winter said mischievously, looking at Violet, who had returned after carefully hiding the contract.

"Is the contract going into effect right now?"

"Yes."

As soon as she could answer, Winter hugged Violet's waist with one arm. Surprised, Violet inhaled sharply.

She raised her hands defensively and placed them between her body and Winter's. As winter approached, her waist fell behind her, flexing as she dodged. Winter laughed.

"Do you think you're flexible because you do ballet?"

"So suddenly... Isn't it better to do it right away?"

As Violet kept trying to avoid it, Winter tickled her belly button with his other hand. This surprised Violet and straightened her back.

In an instant, the two people's faces became closer.

"Do you get tickled a lot?"

"What did you do now?"

"Evil doing."

He was someone who took his time before kissing, something Violet found out after losing a bet earlier.

That really didn't sit right with Violet. She was afraid of that tension.

When Winter was nearby and she started to smell things like crisp new clothes, perfume, aftershave, and the faintest hint of cigarette smoke coming from his clothes, her heart started to beat wildly.

She doesn't think he has a certain body odor. He changed his clothes almost every time, and he also changed his perfume frequently.

However, when these countless changes were combined, it was difficult to understand why Winter Blooming occurred.

Even when she closed her eyes, he didn't kiss her, so Violet opened her eyes again.

Winter was quietly looking at Violet, and there was a light in his savage gray eyes that was difficult to describe in words.

It was Violet's first time seeing these eyes. He was strangely calm now. The Winter that Hayel described was evil, like a castle tower ready to collapse at any moment, but in Violet's eyes, he was not like that at all.

He looked at Violet quietly, then straightened her up and relaxed her arms.

"You should save it."

"That's mean."

Winter laughed cheerfully, finding it cute how Violet's eyebrows narrowed.

The next day, Pim came with Lina and spoke harshly to Violet.

"It's not just our house, Violet. Did you know that other houses also have hams this big? But why didn't you come to Violet's house?"

"That's right."

"Am I missing something? Anyway, this is my first time seeing such a big and good ham in my life. It feels like I'm running a butcher shop?"

She wrote in her contract not to send expensive gifts, but be was sending gifts to people all over the neighborhood. Anyway, he was a man who could never let his guard down.

Lina, who was sitting on Violet's lap, held out the plate of ham she had carefully brought with her and said.

"Let's eat together with Lina, Violet."

"Is that so?"

While Violet was removing the cloth covering the plate, Pim spoke.

"Anyway, let's go talk together. I also heard about ham and compensation, and the construction is noisy."

"Pim is busy, so it's okay if I go alone."

"How far is it from the hotel? Besides, Violet can't ask for something like that."

"I have to do it for you."

Violet made an embarrassed expression. That wasn't the reason at all, but there was no easy way to explain it. Eventually, she left the house, guided by Pim's power. The whole way she was thinking of a way out, and it wasn't until she was almost there that she remembered to pretend to be sick. When she came t, she was in front of the hotel building. As she went inside, one of the employees who had been working neatly walked up.

"What's going on?"

Pim said in response to the employee's question.

"Why was it sent as compensation? This person was the only one in my village who didn't get it. I wonder if it's missing."

"I see. Come in. We will take care of It soon."

Violet had to say no and say it was okay, but the timing wasn't right. Finally, as the staff began to walk along the lobby, Pim's eyes widened.

"Oh my God. I can't believe this hasn't been built yet!"

Then the employee smiled cheerfully and said,

"Actually, this is just the beginning. Only the outside was done, but the inside was empty. Our company's designers work with passion."

The three people, including the child, were led by an employee into an empty reception room. When the simple snacks came out first, Lina looked around and asked Violet.

"Violet! What's this?"

Then Violet leaned down, made eye contact with Lina, and said.

"Chocolate. Try it."

When Violet tore open a small portion of the package and held out a piece, Lina bravely took the whole thing in one bite and her eyes widened.

"Delicious!"

"So?"

Then Pim next to her spoke curiously.

"That's chocolate. It's my first time seeing it too."

"Is that so?"

"Oh, it must be a bit expensive."

As Pim shook her head, the door burst open and Winter came in.

Violet looked embarrassed even though she had expected him to appear, but Winter had no qualms. He was the kind of person who would intervene wherever he wanted to.

Winter came with his hair done with pomade and a colored tie, and sat down on a chair.

Lina was scared and grabbed Pim's arm tightly.

"Mom! He's the scary guy who married Violet!"

"Oh my, why are you here."

Pim spoke and glanced towards Violet. Violet explained with a somewhat resentful expression.

"It's my husband, but we're in the middle of divorce mediation. So, he has nothing to do with me."

"That's right."

Winter responded calmly, using one hand to pull up the chair Violet was sitting on and place it next to her. Lina, who was rolling her eyes, whispered.

"Violet, what is divorce?"

"Get married. Well, I'm just going to pretend I didn't do it."

"Are you going to pretend you're not married?"

"Yes, this guy is so scary."

 "Yes? Good job."

When Rina responded in an adult manner as if she understood, all three adults burst into laughter at the same time, regardless of the situation. Soon Winter cleared her throat and spoke to Pim and Lina.

"Are you two going back? I will prepare a carriage for you."

"Wait. I need to take Violet too."

As Pim spoke firmly, Winter, who was sitting with his arms crossed, calmly shrugged his shoulders.

"Either way. By the way, did you hear that from Violet? If you are a rock round ball...."

At that moment, Violet covered Winter's mouth with her hand. And she said to the two people.

"I guess we have a lot to talk about. I'm sorry I came with you, Pim. Do you want to go first?"

Winter added, taking her hand and lowering it.

"And the kid, if it tastes good, I'll give you more snacks."

"Then, with Rajne's, Karin, and Henn...'

As Lina eagerly folded her fern hand, Winter responded.

"Yes, yes. I'll give you enough to eat for all the kids in the neighborhood. Let's go, I'll see you off."

Winter got up and tried to follow Violet, but he stopped her.

"You stay here. Don't try to escape.'

Violet sat down in disapproval. She never thought she would be threatened with her identity in her life. And that too with 'old' status.

Meanwhile, Winter took the mother and daughter to the chocolate warehouse and gave each of them a basket. Winter asked Pim as Lina, wide-eyed, was running around picking at her chocolate.

"Did you ask about remarriage?"

"I asked. I heard that remarriage will probably be difficult for her to do as she wishes. I heard her brother will be very involved."

"Oh, I see."

If there is a divorce, Ash's influence will definitely be involved. Even when he was paid to marry Violet, it would have been difficult for her to refuse, even though Violet chose him. Will remarriage be like that too?

Winter often wondered why Violet had agreed to marry him. At the age of eighteen, to a man who offered to marry her in exchange for money solely for a title.
