ICTV - Side Story Chapter 11

ICTV - Side Story 11

I change The Villain

Violet cried until her throat broke. If Edgar had been alive, she wouldn't have been in so much pain.

But Edgar died, leaving behind countless traces that he once existed in this world.

Every time she saw those traces, Violet couldn't help but feel distressed. As Violet's cries became louder, Arshan quickly ran to her.

"Now let's go to the bedroom. If you take a deep breath, you'll be fine."

"I couldn't do anything this time either. My friend made a wrong choice and I didn't even know it."

"It's okay, it's not your fault. So, let's go to the bedroom for now, okay?"

"..."

Violet fell limp as if she didn't have the strength to cry anymore. Arshan carefully supported Violet and carried her to the bedroom.

Arshan looked down at Violet and muttered.

"It's really amazing."

Because the people he left behind had no choice but to remember him forever. But that was it. It was Belial who was by Rose's side now, and the person whom Rose loved was also Belial.

Arshan didn't know as much about people's hearts as Edgar, but he knew one thing clearly.

Edgar can never defeat Belial.

The day will never come when Edgar, who is already dead, will have his feelings reciprocated. Thinking like that made Arshan feel a little refreshed.

Arshan patted Violet's head and left the room. He thought that she should go to sleep now.

***

"I want to go on a trip."

"Yes?"

One morning, Belial's eyes widened when I blurted out something.

I spoke again.

"I really want to go on a trip."

After getting married, I devoted almost all my time to adjusting to the Serenity family mansion. At first, I had no complaints. Because I loved being home so much. But as time passed, my desire to go outside grew.

I finally realized.

Being at home because I like it and being at home because I have no choice are different. I thought I was a natural homebody, but I never thought I would want to travel.

I thrust the map I had prepared in front of Belial.

"The urgent work is almost finished, so wouldn't it be okay to go on vacation?"

"..."

"What's wrong? Do you not want to go on a trip?"

Belial immediately and vehemently denied it.

"No! Absolutely not! I'm going with you and no one else."

"Then what's wrong?"

"I realized once again that you have changed. In the past, this was something I couldn't have even dreamed of. You asked me to go on a trip first."

Belial's eyes turned red.

"This situation really feels like a dream."

I had no choice but to say something at that sight.

"I'm sorry, Belial."

"Oh. no. I didn't say that to get an apology."

"I know, but I'm sorry."

The old me was extremely lethargic. To make up for that time, I have to be good to Belial from now on.

I held up a map and spoke passionately.

"On this trip, no matter what happens, we will go where Belial wants to go. Belial, tell me. Where do you want to go?"

"Are you sure I can go wherever I want?"

"Of course. So far, Belial has made too many concessions to me."

"Then.."

Belial looked at the map and made a suggestion.

"What about the sea? There's a place here with really nice scenery."

"Okay, let's go there then."

The two immediately started planning their trip that day. This is because we both knew that it was better to go as soon as possible since we didn't know when we would get busy again.

Two weeks later, after fully preparing, the two boarded a carriage heading to the beach. And when we arrived at the long-awaited beach...

"... It's raining."

"... I see."

Heavy rain of all time was pouring down. The two stared blankly at the empty beach.

***

"It rains a lot, right?"

A friendly waiter poured warm tea for the two. Belial ordered additional Mont Blanc for Rose and then looked out the window.

Heavy rain was hitting the window without stopping. Belial said.

"Even if you want to go out, just be patient. I think it will stop by tonight. Thank God."

"No. This one has its own charm and is good."

Rose took a sip of tea. As she drank the warm tea, his body felt warm.

"You wanted to go outside. I was worried because I thought it would be frustrating."

"No, Belial."

"Nowadays, I'm not stuck at home because of work. It's a different story if you can just roll around and do nothing."

I answered firmly.

"That's true too."

The two had tea and cake and went up to their room. The maids had already packed up all the luggage.

I stood in front of the mirror holding a white dress that was hanging in a place where the maids could easily see it. I originally planned to change into these clothes as soon as I arrived at the travel destination and go to the beach.

"There was something I really wanted to do with you at the beach while wearing these clothes."

"What is it?"

"There was something I wanted to do at least once when I was at the beach with you."

"What is it?"

"Wait a minute. I think it would be better to show this in action."

I stood in front of Belial, who was sitting on the end of the bed. And as I turned my back, I said,

"Catch me~"

But before I could run properly, my body suddenly rose into the air. I turned my head. Belial smiled brightly while holding me.

"I got you."

I said in a mocking tone.

"I won't run like this tomorrow. I'm sure I will run really well. You know, right? My body becomes agile when I need it."

"Of course, I know. Then I guess I should really run too."

"They say the most important thing is to keep a reasonable distance between you and the other person so that you don't get caught or not."

"I can still do that now."

 "Yes?"

Belial playfully rolled his eyes.

"I'm a tease."

With those words, Belial leaned back. I, who was being held by Belial, also tilted.

Belial lay down on the bed and asked me, who was sitting on his body.

"How is it? Would you like to tease my heart differently today?"

"..."

My face became so hot that it felt like it was going to explode. At times like this, Belial looks like a fox, not a wolf.

What should I do with this worthy person?

At that time, Belial pulled my hand. And as he gently touched me to his cheek, he whispered languidly.

"Rose."

At that moment, my last remaining sense of reason was lost. I immediately placed my lips on Belial's.

***

The next day, the sky was very clear, as if there had been heavy rain at some point.

The waiter who poured tea for Belial and Rose yesterday looked at the sky with proud eyes and then turned his head.

The stunningly beautiful couple he saw yesterday was entering the restaurant. The two people also had bright faces, as if they were in a good mood because the weather was clear.

But is it because of his mood?

The woman seems a little tired. The waiter tilted his head and entered the kitchen.

Belial said as he opened the window.

"Don't you think it would be okay even if it rained today?"

I spoke firmly as I sat down in the seat that Belial had taken out.

"No, if it had rained today, we would have been in real trouble. If you come on a trip, you have to enjoy it properly."

"But you really had fun yesterday too."

"..."

I can't refute it. I was speechless and Belial chuckled.

"I'm just kidding, you're right. Since we have come this far, we should enjoy the sea to the fullest. Hurry up and have breakfast and then go out."

Just then breakfast arrived.

"Which would you like to eat first? From salad? Or bacon? Neither..."

The moment Belial rolled his eyes like yesterday, I spoke firmly.

"Starting with bacon."

"..."

"I'll definitely eat the bacon first. No matter how much I think about it, I think I overdid it yesterday. I need something greasy."

I stabbed the bacon with my fork. Seeing my merciless appearance, Belial became sullen like a puppy getting wet in the rain.

I glanced at Belial and then whispered.

"Please seduce me tonight."

Bellal's eyes widened.

"... You're not telling me not to do it at all?"

"Of course."

I love how you look seductive.

My body trembled.

I was once again relieved that I was not the Emperor. If I had been Emperor, I would have easily ruined three or four countries by having a carnival with Belial.

This is why people should not aim for the wrong place. I, who suddenly came to a realization that was completely unsuited to this situation, ate my food cleanly.

The two left the dorm as soon as breakfast was over. The hem of the white dress fluttered under the bright blue sky.

I said, looking down at my sandaled feet.

"But the sand is still wet. It's uncomfortable to walk."

"Shall I carry you and walk?"

"No, you can do that later. For now...."

My eyes, which had been blurry at the end of my sentence, became serious. Belial's expression, realizing my true feelings, also became serious. I turned my ankle a few times and stood some distance away from Belial.

"Are you ready, Belial?"

"Yes. I'm ready."

I held up three fingers.

"Let's start on the count of three. One."

Belial looked at .e with a serious face.

"Two."

I assumed a running stance.

"Three!"

At the same time as I shouted three, I jumped forward as quickly as a weasel and shouted.

"Catch me!"

I felt like I could hear Beryl's voice screaming from somewhere, asking me to run around like that regularly.

The most important thing here is to irritate the other person from an ambiguous distance where you might not be caught, right?

As I thought that, I looked back at Belial to see how far away he was.

Suddenly a shadow appeared over my head. Belial's arm instantly grabbed my waist.

"I caught you again."

"That's right. I got caught again."

Belial asked while holding me in his arms.

"What reward will you give me now?"

"A prize?"

"Wasn't there a reward for catching you?"

"Well, I just thought about running."

I spoke shyly and then asked.

"What prize would you like to receive?"

Belial asked, brushing his thumb across my lips.

"Do I really have to say that out loud?"
