Kanna held the doorknob and turned it up and down.

Kallen's chin rose above her head. He put his weight on her as if he was leaning on her, or holding her, or anything else.

Kanna's throat was blocked. Her lungs tingled with every breath as if there were thorns in the air. She couldn't believe what Kalen was saying right now.

As her back hit the door,  Kanna clenched her fists. She was intensely conflicted.

Kanna opened her eyes. Her whole body felt heavy.

I feel dizzy. I feel like throwing up.
