Kanna would have felt better if he criticized her harshly, but Raphael did not do that. Instead, he said something completely out of the blue.

"Do you know how to swim?"

"Why is that suddenly?"

"There is a hole in the boat."

He was right. He looked down and saw that the bottom of the ferry boat was already filled with water!

 'Oh my god, I was so busy apologizing that I didn't notice!'

"I was just asking just in case. Don't worry, if we increase our speed, we will reach the edge of the pond safely." 

Raphael spoke calmly and began rowing vigorously.

As the water gradually rose, the hem of my skirt began to get wet. When Kanna frowned, Raphael suddenly stopped the oar, fixed it, took off his priest's robe, and laid it at Kanna's feet. Then he started rowing again.
