Kalen was silent.

Kanna lowered my head for a moment, then raised it again.

"It's impossible. Now that I know how your sister is doing..."

"I am okay."

 "Are you okay? Are you serious?" 

Kalen asked back quickly, as if in shock.

"You were assaulted by that crazy woman, but are you saying you're okay?"

"I meant you didn't have to worry. I can take care of my own affairs."

In the end, Kanna decided to show her true feelings.

"If I had feelings for you, it would probably be terrible hate."

Finally, Kalen was completely speechless.

"I don't want to waste my emotions hating you, so I'm just going to ignore you. So please treat me like that too."

Kanna patted his shoulder.

"Don't worry about me, just be nice to Lucy."

Then she ended the conversation kindly.

"If you're done talking, will you please leave now? I have work to do."

Silence fell.

Kalen stared at her in silence and then gave a short answer.

"All right."

It finally makes sense now. After Kalen left, Kanna spent some time relaxing. The annoying guy has finally disappeared.

'But really, why are you doing that? Are you drunk?"

That's it. Kanna immediately began busily packing her luggage. There was no need to reminisce about the conversation she had with Kalen or get lost in dull sentiments. He didn't even come to mind.

Kalen was that kind of person to her.

"Ugh. I'm done."

After finishing all preparations, she sat down on the chair. She then took out Lucy's pocket and looked through her.

'God, Lucy. You're cute."

What she said to Kalen was sincere. Don't worry about her, but she hopes he treats Lucy well.

That was all Kanna wanted from him.

The next morning, Sylvien came to see her as promised.

"But where are we going?"

The destination Sylvien was heading to was Venice.

When he finally arrived at the ward, he added as if he had finally remembered Sylvien.

"His Excellency Duke Alessandro of Addis will be arriving soon."

What? Father is coming here?

"But when His Excellency the Duke is here, why bother bringing my father."

Then Sylvien shrugged his shoulders. As if he was out of his territory. Kanna became so angry at the moment that she screamed.

If her father came to see the sailors, she would definitely run into him!

Kanna calmed down.

Even if she had known, she would have come. She can't just kick up such a good deal just to avoid her father. Sylvien, who was staring at her, raised the corners of his mouth. 

"Are you afraid of the Duke of Addis?"

"No. Not at all."

"Thank goodness. I almost mistook you for a little girl sobbing in fear from her father."

In an instant, Kanna's face turned bright red.

' She even held on to Sylvien and cried when she had to leave to defeat monsters!'

Kanna glanced at the patient with a pale face. The condition was more serious than expected.

"Sylvienne, are you here?"

At that time, a man approached. It was a tall man wearing a black priest's uniform. Kanna recognized him at a glance. He was a man who clearly existed in Joo-hwa's memories.

'Was his name Raphael?' 

Raphael passed by Kanna without even looking and went straight to Sylvien. He was so cold-hearted and dismissive that he felt like an invisible man.

"I don't know if you're doing something useless, Sylvien."

Those 'useless things' and 'just in case' sounds like her story. Kanna was upset. She looked at them and said.

"Did you say Raphael? It's our sphere, right?"

She turned his head to Sylvien again. She muttered quietly in a low voice. 

"If it's an infectious disease, it looks like your wife will get infected."

"You look surprisingly fragile."

'Are you worrying about me or are you criticizing me?'

Kanna responded bluntly.

"If you're worried about me, I appreciate it, but it's okay." 

Then she approached the patients and examined their condition closely.

"Uh, uhm..."

As expected, the condition is not good. His gums were so swollen that they were sticking out of his lips, and his entire body was speckled with bright red sores. 

'Indeed.Similar to syphilis symptoms.'

But it probably isn't syphilis. 

"Can I take off your bottoms? I need to check your genitals."

Why is there no answer? As the silence continued, Kanna raised her head. And then her eyes met Sylvienne's, who remained silent.

“Ah.”

Only then did he realize that there was a possibility of misunderstanding and quickly added an explanation.

When Sylvien called his name, one of the therapists taking care of the patients quickly approached.

"Yes, Your Excellency the Duke." 

"Please be my assistant."
