I Changed The Villain

 “No, Rose. that is....."

Belial trailed off for a while and then asked.

“What on earth is that title?”

“You don’t like it?”

“Of course in my heart...”

Then my eyes met Belial's eyes. Belial grabbed my hand.

“I love it.”

I was relieved.

"Thank god. For a moment, I thought you hated it.”

“What do you mean? I love you no matter what you do.”

"Is it so? Then why did you do that earlier?”

“I was just a little surprised earlier.”

“You said you froze because you were surprised?”

"Yes. Because you suddenly do something you don’t normally do.”

I thought he was hardened by how surprisingly friendly I had become over the past few days. That wasn't it. He just froze in shock. 

In the novel I read yesterday, when the male lead called the female lead like that, everyone, including the female lead herself, loved it to death. Some people even screamed because it was so sweet. I paused.

“Did you scream because you were in pain?”

The writer was wrong. Who was the author of that novel? The maids recommended that there were a few scenes to refer to, even though the story was really bad. From now on, I will definitely ban that writer. 

Belial asked as my expression darkened.

“Did something happen?”

I hastily shook my head.

"Just?"

“I thought I was too indifferent compared to you, so I called you Baby Wolf."

"It was."

Belial's eyes widened. I guess this is why people shouldn't do things they haven't done before. I nodded.

Belial flatly denied it. There was strength in the hand I held.

"Rose, You have no idea how happy I am right now. Are you happy?”

Seeing me shaking my head, Belial burst out laughing again. I stood in front of him and waited until Belial stopped laughing.

“You always make me laugh.”

He laughed so hard that his red cheeks looked like apples. Belial let out a long breath and hugged me tightly.

“You can still call me that if you want.”

He's cold and handsome, but his arms are warm. I buried my face in Belial's chest and kissed his lips.

“Are you serious?”

"Sure. Something other than baby wolves is also good.”

Also, is something else good? I asked immediately.

My mother greeted my Belial gracefully, still blocking my brother.

My father, who was setting the teapot and teacup on the table, smiled brightly. Usually, he has the maids order it, but since he has a special guest, I think he prepares it himself. My father is also very polar.

“Sit here.”

"Thank you."

“Rose, please sit next to him too.”

"Yes."

Belial and I followed our mother's advice. We sat side by side on the sofa. My mother, father, and brother sat on the sofa across from me.

My father weakly raised his hand.

"It's me."

Suddenly the mood of father turns sour. My brother’s face turned completely white.

“Ah, father...!”

“An important guest came and I tried making tea myself, as expected.”

My father couldn't finish his sentence and ran out of the room.

“Wait a minute, Dad! I never meant that! I was wrong!”

My brother cried out too late, but my father had already disappeared. My brother quickly got up and ran after his father. The mother, who was looking at the backs of the two, opened her mouth.

“What did we talk about earlier?”

“...We haven’t even started yet.”
