THYU - Chapter 152

Violet stopped for a moment.

It was only delayed by about four days.

It was not uncommon for her to be this late. She didn't want to be disappointed by having to visit the doctor every time just because it was a few days late. Her cycle had become somewhat irregular because she had been waiting nervously every month since she heard from Harlin that she could get pregnant.

Violet doesn't know if it's possible, but she's trying to forget about it as much as possible until she gets to Rockround.

Sharon asked worriedly as she kept stopping.

“Violet, what are you thinking about?”

“Huh? Oh, sorry.”

Violet smiled, shook her head, and followed Sharon to the room she was staying in.

As soon as Sharon entered the room, she pointed to her dress lying in the middle.

"How is it?"

“Oh my god, so pretty...”

“I repaired something that Grandma Anna wore.”

“Is that the dress you’ve been wanting to wear since you were little?”

“Yeah. I cut off the sleeves there and decorated the shoulder straps with string.”

“It’s really pretty.”

Violet looked at the sparkling wedding dress with admiration. Sharon said as she changed into the dress on the spot with the help of the maids.

“My grandmother was really angry. But she had no choice but to give me the dress. You know how much I’ve wanted that dress since I was little.”

“Okay. Okay.”

“But if you had gotten married first and asked for the inheritance, I would have given it to you. She loves you more than a real granddaughter.”

“No way. She loves you so much.”

Violet spoke soothingly, then thought for a moment before continuing.

“I also thought it would be nice to inherit my mother’s dress.”

"Yes?"

“Yeah. When I got married, I had ready-made clothes hastily altered and wore them.”

Violet belatedly showed a slightly regretful expression.

“My mother’s dress was modeled after the dress of Olivia Lawrence, the second Queen of Rockround.”

“Oh, you really admire Olivia Lawrence. You used to go to her portrait often. The one with the pink diamond ring.”

As Violet nodded, Sharon continued.

“That ring was inherited by Shane Felice, Felice’s successor?”

“Yeah. It’s such an important item that I’ve never actually seen it. Philippe never took it out of the jewel safe.”

"I see."

As they were talking, Sharon put on her wedding dress, tiara, and veil. Sharon wore a short veil, which matched her lively vibe very well.

Violet said with repeated admiration.

“It’s so pretty, I feel better now.”

“Really? I'm that pretty?”

“Yeah, you're so pretty.”

“Luckily, it’s an empire dress, so even if my belly sticks out a little, it’ll be hidden. The rumors have already spread.”

Violet laughed happily as Sharon spoke and sighed exaggeratedly.

After Sharon changed her clothes again, the two sat on the windowsill with cushions attached so they could sit, pulled the table close, and began to enjoy tea time.

Sharon brought some tea that was said to be good for pregnant women, so Violet drank the same. Sharon asked.

“The tea doesn’t taste good?”

“No. It smells good. Some milk... Oh, no.”

“Why? You can eat it.”

“It’s okay. Your condition is the top priority.”

The wind had become much cooler since Violet had been to Alika. Sharon said, enjoying the pleasant breeze.

“We’re preparing for the wedding so hastily that it still doesn’t feel real.”

“Is it progressing step by step like this?”

“It’s all thanks to you.”

"Me?"

“Yeah. Thanks to you, Lord Winter hid Aus, and even though our schedule was tight, he gave us a hotel room. I was afraid that I might gossip about you.”

"Is it."

Sharon said with a happy expression as Violet smiled shyly.

“You look really happy.”

“Thank you. I’m so happy these days.”

“Ah, I was feeling anxious before the wedding. But after talking to you, I feel a little more at ease.”

“You don’t look anxious at all?”

“What are you talking about? I’m so nervous. What if my brother kills Aus that day...”

“I will hold him tight and stop him.”

“You can’t hold him back. Lord Winter would hate that.”

“Surely not, my husband is not a child.”

Violet replied as if to say, "Stop talking nonsense," and then spoke in a voice full of interest.

“What kind of child is he?”

“I feel like he’s a guy who looks just like Aus.”

“Then he must be a very calm child.”

“He's so calm, I think I’m going to burst. Two men with mouths as tight as those statues.”

“Aus, he seems like a really nice person. Tell me from the beginning. What happened between you two?”

Sharon sighed as Violet asked what she had been wondering all along.

“Don’t be ridiculous. That idiot just follows me around, worries about me, and never tells me he likes me.”

“It’s not easy to be brave.”

“But I have to do it when the time is right. He's staying here with me at the Chiron Hotel until the last day. So I thought it wouldn’t work out if I kept doing this on the last day.”

“Did you confess first?”

“I asked him to sleep in the same bed.”

"...What?"

Violet was speechless in shock. Sharon continued calmly.

“At first, that nonsensical guy told me several times that he couldn’t do it. So I thought I’d just go to my room, but he said that wasn’t possible. From then on, we laid in bed together, and Aus had a strangely good smell.”

"So?"

“First, I ordered him to take off his pajamas. At first, he said no, but then he started to pounce on me...”

“I’ve heard enough. You don’t have to explain it in detail. More importantly, your last day at the Chiron Hotel... was around the time I left Chiron.”

“Hmm? Yeah.”

“Then from then on already!”

“Hmm. So that’s what the story is about.”

Sharon, who had always been shameless, covered her mouth with her hand and laughed awkwardly, feeling a little embarrassed. Although it was a story that her husband had already swept away once, Violet was even more shocked when she heard it from her own mouth, so she covered her forehead with her hand.

Sharon found Violet’s reaction amusing and continued the story excitedly.

***

The two men returned just in time for dinner. Aus was very engrossed in shopping with Winter, but Winter seemed to accept the concept of obedience as he was the husband of Violet, the former Princess of Rockround.

The four of them had a grand dinner together and chatted about various things. Since the four of them got along well, they had such a good time that they were all sad to part ways and go back to their rooms.

As soon as she returned to the bedroom, Violet fell into a deep sleep. Then, in the early hours of the morning, Winter woke her up.

"Violet."

When she didn't get up right away, Winter smiled faintly, ran a hand through her hair, and kissed her forehead.

“Princess, wake up.”

As he called repeatedly, Violet finally managed to open her eyes, which were heavy with sleep.

“Is it morning already?”

“It’s dawn. You told me to wake you up.”

“Me?”

Winter laughed softly as Violet tilted her head in her sleep.

“Let’s go see the flower market before boarding the cruise.”

Violet, who had suddenly woken up from her slumber at those words, raised her upper body.

“Oh, really?”

Then Winter said with a pretended disappointed look on his face.

“It seems like your eyes that don’t wake up when you see your husband’s face wake up when you think of flowers?”

“I can see it tomorrow too.”

“Oh, so it doesn’t matter to you whenever I see it?”

“Don’t be sarcastic. I know you didn’t mean it like that.”

“I don’t understand at all. Please explain it to me in detail.”

“I can live as long as I have you, even if spring doesn’t come and flowers don’t bloom. Why are you comparing them?”

Winter laughed pleasantly at her nagging.

“Well, that’s satisfying to hear. I love you too, and you’re a natural flirt.”

Then, even though it wasn't that cold, he packed Violet's coat and left the house.

Violet, who worked as a florist at the Yefimchuk House in Chiron, had some acquaintances at the flower market. When she showed up, the merchants greeted her warmly.

“Violet! How long has it been since you last saw me!”

“Come here. I have a new vase.”

Word quickly spread through the flower market, just like Chiron. Everyone knew that Violet was royalty in Rockround, but no one treated her any differently.

Knowing more about Violet wouldn't have changed their opinion of her, and she was the type of person who wouldn't change her attitude toward people no matter what they thought of her.

Winter loved many aspects of Violet, but he loved that aspect of her in particular to the point of madness.

Winter followed Violet from a distance so that she could fully enjoy the flower market. She made a bouquet of flowers using only the flowers she received as gifts while looking around the flower market.

Winter said, looking at Violet, who was happily hugging the bouquet of flowers.

“Seeing your friend and his husband get married makes me feel even more like I need to have another wedding.”

“Was it so?”

“Yeah. At that time, I had already taken care of the wedding dress and the ceremony in a simple manner. When I return to the capital, I’ll have to get a wedding dress first.”

“I think an empire dress would be nice too.”

Violet answered absentmindedly, then said with an embarrassed face.

“Ah, what is an empire dress...”

“I keep telling you, whether it’s jewelry or dresses, I bought more and I know better.”

“I’m living with a really strange man.”

Violet smiled and said as she slowly walked out of the flower market. The sun had just begun to rise and the world was gradually becoming brighter. Violet stopped in her seat and watched the sunrise with a happy face.

Winter wasn't interested in the sunrise he saw every day, and was constantly fiddling with the ring box in his pocket.

After hearing from Enna that Violet liked the portrait of Olivia Lawrence, she prepared the ring in the portrait as a proposal, but the timing wasn't easy.

The ring was an important item, but the island of Hagu, which would be jointly owned in the future, was an asset that would shake the country, so Violet's extensive participation was necessary.

Winter opened his mouth after seriously considering whether it was okay to say that it was autumn weather now, or not.

“When would be a good time to have the wedding?”

“Well, I guess it would be better to plan slowly.”

“Why are you taking it slow?”

“Because you might have a child in the meantime.”

Winter responded with a sudden darkening of her face.

“It’s not like you’ll have a baby so quickly if you haven’t had one in years. Don’t get your hopes up too much.”

“It’s you.”

Violet answered calmly, but in fact, she was barely able to hide the fact that her heart was pounding.

She wanted to go home quickly. After she got home, she had to check with her primary care physician, then a second doctor, and then a third doctor, since she was still anxious, to ask if she was pregnant. Violet, although not as much as Winter, had some mistrust of doctors.

If all three doctors agreed that she was pregnant, she planned to face her husband and tell him the news.

The dinner party that had previously been prepared to announce the pregnancy ended with Winter's verbal abuse. Violet knew that this time Winter had no reason to react that way, and she didn't even think of it as a concern.

He would be happy. Obviously. She was just wondering how to comfort him since he might burst into tears if he had any worries.
