Rune landed lightly on the floor and without hesitation, struck Shutime's neck.
When the screaming stopped, the forest became quiet.
Rune threw away the sword that had been ruined by the aura and looked back at Drial. Her expression was resolute.
Drial faced Rune blankly. He was so shocked by what happened so quickly that he couldn't say anything. His mind was blank.
"You..."
As he was speechless and unable to speak properly, Rune approached him.
Rune took off her gloves and placed them on Drial's bloodied hands.
"I'm wearing it."
Rune, who put on the gloves, turned her head. The corpses that had been torn apart by the wind were being resurrected one by one.
Drial, who came to his senses belatedly, hid Rune behind him.
"No, Rune. If you get hurt even a little while fighting... !"
Before Drial could finish speaking, Rune ran towards the corpse. Her right hand, which she clenched with all her might, burned white with aura.
Rune immediately blew off the head of the corpse that was baring its teeth at her. The head burned by the aura did not regenerate.
Drial watched in fascination as Rune calmly took down the corpse. She showed no hesitation in fighting. She seemed like a knight who had been rigorously trained in countless battles.
Drial, who was watching Rune move flexibly, suddenly started blowing air. The body that was running towards Rune was pushed away by the cool wind.
When the heads of dozens of cor
pses were blown away with Aura, the wind gathered the wandering corpses together.
“Zenon, fire!”
As Drial shouted, those guarding the fence immediately fired flaming arrows.
As the fire soared with the whirling wind, people climbed up the fence.
Cookie, who was watching the situation from a tree, controlled the wind to prevent the fire from spreading to the forest.
As the corpses trapped in the fire and wind crumbled to pitch black, Rune lifted the sheath of her sword. Rune put an aura on the scabbard and blew away the wind of fire.
When the fire went out, the blackened earth and heaps of ashes were visible. Throwing away the broken scabbard, Rune stared at the black ash and then turned her back.
The sounds of Emur Village residents sobbing could be heard beyond the fence.

The moment Rune's auror tore the red-eyed corpse apart, Shutime, who was hiding in the cave, screamed and fell backward.
Schutime gritted his teeth, writhing in pain as his skull split. The black whites of the eyes and blood-stained eyes were bizarre.
"This damn transcendental bastard...!"
It was definitely an auror.
Shutime had seen Auras burning like white flames before.
It was when he led a group of black dragons and attacked Arhon. That day, an aura so large that it covered the entire world attacked Shutime.
A person uses magic with God's permission or becomes a spiritist by forming a friendship with a spirit.
Magic requires runes and mana, and spirit power requires a contract.
But not an Auror.
Aurors were a power given only to humans by the World Tree.
To use that power, permission from the World Tree or God was not required. All you needed was determination.
Thousands of years have passed since Middle-earth opened, but there have only been two Auror Masters so far.
There were only two: the first wizard and the guardian God who became a transcendental person and ascended to the constellation.
Shutime, burned by aura, hid in a cave for a long time. If the soul had not been protected by magic, it would have perished.
It took three years for his strength to be restored. Because of this, all of Shutime's plans went awry.
"But again...!"
Shutime, a blood clot in his neck, was breathing hard and glaring at the hole in the cave ceiling.
Dreal and the Auror Master who led the Northern War to victory are in Arhon.
Shutime was angry, convinced that the Gods were watching everything.
"Now they can't even come down to Middle Earth... If you hadn't abandoned me, if the World Tree had chosen me, so many people wouldn't have died in the North. Did you see the humans you love being eaten by frost giants? That's just the beginning!"
Shutime got angry at the night sky.
"If I become a God, no one will serve you. As long as I ascend to the constellation...!"
Cold blood flowed from his forehead.
It is no coincidence that Drial and the Auror Master are together in Arhon.
Shutime smiled brightly, confident that Arhon Forest had what he was looking for.
***
As the sun rose, Drial visited the cemetery in Emur Village. When he saw the dug-up spot, he felt bad.
"You are here."
The wind blew and Cookie appeared. Drial narrowed his eyes at Cookie, who was smiling brightly.
"Where and what did you do?"
"I was chasing Shutime."
"Did you find him?"
"I wonder if I found him..."
Cookie slumped his shoulders.
"But I found out something. I am certain that Shutime was hiding here in Arhon while we were fighting in the north. I don't know why, but I think he was recovering his strength by absorbing intelligence."
"Wasn't it enough to turn the battlefield completely black? Is tracking possible?"
"It must be difficult now, I can't feel any mana. I guess he hid properly."
Drial was not disappointed. It seemed like this result was expected.
Shutime appeared on the battlefield only for a short time. The enemies the Allied Forces fought were not Shutime, but frost giants and corpses that came back to life again and again.
When a magic barrier was created to prevent the reanimated corpses from escaping the battlefield, it was thought that Shutime might have been trapped inside.
However, even though the war ended, Shutime did not appear. According to what Cookie said, it seemed like he had run away to Arhon a long time ago.
Drial, who had prayed at the empty grave, raised his knees.
"You should have seen Rune fight."
"Why?"
"It was amazing. I was surprised."
"Didn't you know? Your wife is the one who defeated the black dragon. Not just one dragon, but a bunch of dragons."
"I was expecting it. I also heard something from Zenon. However..."
It reminded him. of Rune from his childhood.
Rune was thin and sickly. She was a girl who had no strength, so when something unfair happened to her, the only thing she could do was grit her teeth and endure.
While Drial was away on the battlefield, Rune acquired Auror skills. What a grueling battle did she have to go through to acquire Auror status while pregnant?
His heart was so heavy that he couldn't smile anymore.
".... Anyway, she was stronger than me. I almost fell in love with her. No, I think I'm already in love."
Cookie laughed meaningfully at Drial's taunt.
Just because your body is strong doesn't mean your mind is strong. Pain makes people grow, but most people kneel before it.
Those who were accustomed to despair did not look ahead.
Cookie left the graveyard, thinking that Rune was about to collapse.
"I think your wife overheard your conversation with Shutime. How will you explain this to your wife?"
"I have to catch you for not knowing."
"Mr. Drial is a wind elementalist, so you can't lie."
Drial did not deny that statement. But even if he was caught lying, he had no intention of telling the truth.
"I don't want Rune to know what I experienced on the battlefield."
"I wonder if your wife will blame herself?"
"Yes. If it were her, she would think it was all her fault."
Drial smiled calmly and lightly tapped Cookie on the shoulder.
"You may be tired, but please just check if there are any corpses wandering around town. Please. I'll see you at the castle in the evening."
Drial returned to the fence. Cookie stared at the back.
He respected Drial's choice to keep what happened on the battlefield a secret. No matter how many he knew, he had no right to interfere with their choices.
Cookie that created the wind rose in the air.
As the Arhon soared until it looked like a small dot, a bobcat with blue tail feathers was caught in the wind and flew in front of Cookie.
The bird flapped its wings vigorously and then flopped down on the top of Cookie's head. Cookie laughed and looked towards the place where Emur Village was located.
"It seems like your parents really went a long way and loved each other."
The bird followed Cookie's gaze. The wind created by Cookie was tracking the remnants of black magic.
The wind quickly swept through the forest, checking to see if there was anything unusual around the village. The wind soon returned as if the surroundings were clean.
A relieved Cookie smiled brightly.
"Do you want to go back together?"
The bird says, "Beep, beep, beep."
He answered. Cookie, who was able to interpret the sound, gently pressed the bird to prevent it from being blown away by the wind.
"I'll save you Agapanthus. Give it to Madam."
Cookie returned to Arhon Castle, driven by the wind.
The bird turned its head and gazed at the Arhon Forest. The black land of the forest was getting wider.
