THYU - Chapter 2
To Help You Understand
Violet stood in front of her husband's dressing room to talk to him.
"Little Madam, go back to the bedroom!"
The maids grabbed her and tried to stop her, but Violet seemed to have made up her mind and stood in front of the door without moving.
After a while, the door opened and the secretary, Hayel, appeared first. Behind him, Winter Blooming was seen with his hair polished with pomade.
He was wearing a light blue shirt, a gray vest, and pants that were the same color as his eyes.
In comparison, Violet's outfit was simple but formal. However, her feet were bare, and a blue flame that looked like madness flickered in her eyes.
As Winter looked at her, Violet took a step towards him.
"Don't go. Just for this business trip... If you can't cancel, just go one day later."
"I Come back in a week this time."
"You can postpone it for a day. Please just go to the party your mother is throwing this evening."
"Just say you hurt and rest."
"If it were that easy, I wouldn't have come to tell you."
"Violet."
All ten employees who were looking away from them knew how much Winter was suppressing his personality right now. Everyone was thinking that if their wife or husband went crazy like Violet, it would be difficult to handle it.
Winter continued speaking in an annoyed voice.
"Do you know how much money was moved while you were wasting my time being stubborn here? I paid 24 million lacs for the identity you were born with. But the identity I bought has disappeared."
"I know that, but..."
"If you know, you should choose one. Either you pay back the money, or the Princess grants me the title I was trying to buy. If It's not for both of it, Just stay quiet."
"..."
Winter took Violet's hand away, thinking it would be enough since his wife couldn't answer. But she stubbornly grabbed both of Winter's wrists again and squeezed them. She was that desperate.
"Nothing much changes just because you're a day late. Just this once...."
Since she didn't back down, the maids tried to step forward. However, with no specific instructions from Winter, they soon fell back again.
Violet, who had been pleading as she looked up at Winter, slowly came to her senses and looked into his eyes.
The look in his eyes was as if he had seen a drunken person behaving badly on the street.
Violet realized from the look in his eyes that her husband would not listen to her wishes, so she slowly withdrew her hand.
Winter clicked his tongue once and walked past her. After him, his subordinates also left.
Violet stood there with a blank look on her face and then returned to her room.
Outside the window, she could see the carriage with Winter in it leaving. She thought for a while whether that busy man would come to her funeral.

Doctor Rickman, who reluctantly showed up at Violet's call, gave her a disapproving look after finishing her treatment.
"There is nothing wrong, Little Madam. If there is an illness, it is probably a mental illness."
"Isn't it true that I actually feel sick? I have a headache..."
Violet spoke as if making excuses, but Rickman cut her off.
"You grew up to be a Princess, so I understand that you're worried even if you're a little sick. But let me tell you again. Little Madam is not in any pain. If you keep acting like this, I have no choice but to tell you the truth."
"It's not a trick. The headache is so bad that I can't even get up."
"Oh, really. Stop lying and get up, Little Madam. It all becomes a habit."
Rickman scolded, put his hat back on, and left the room. The maids who were waiting next to him could be seen holding back their laughter as if the term 'faking' was funny.
When the doctor said that, Violet had no choice but to get up from the bed. As she stood up, the maids changed her into a teatime dress.
She opened her mouth as she sat down to put on her makeup.
"I want to change my mood, so please cut my hair down to my shoulders."
"Yes, Little Madame."
Only then did the maids' expressions brighten. This was because taking care of her long hair was usually not a hassle.
The maids combed her shoulder-length bob hair, tied it around her head with a diamond-encrusted hairband, and decorated it with flowers.
Even after finishing dressing up, Violet left the mansion feeling as if she was being dragged to hell.
The estate was so large that one had to travel by carriage to reach the mansion where the in-laws lived.
When she got off the carriage, people who had arrived earlier than the party start time were already chatting.
They were nobles from the southern region of Lakround, called Warhoson. At the center was the Blooming family. Her mother-in-law, Catherine Blooming, who discovered Violet, called her.
"Violet, come here."
As Violet approached, Catherine asked gently.
"Are you late because you're not feeling well? Are you feeling better?"
"Yes, mother."
Violet looked around to find a place to sit, but the table was full.
Even if she had come early, there would have been no room for her. It was an embarrassment. Catherine continued.
"You don't know how worried I was because you kept saying you were sick for the past few months. What does the doctor say?"
"Oh, I..."
When Violet hesitated to answer, Catherine said worriedly.
"Ask Winter to get you some good medicine. He travels all over the continent, so he can get anything."
Violet nodded, feeling her blood drying up. At that time, that Rickman, who had come out of the mansion, passed by and was happy to see her.
"Little Madame! You came out! Look, didn't I say you were faking it?"
At that moment, laughter erupted among those attending the garden party.
Violet's body trembled as if she had chills at that ridicule. It wasn't unfamiliar to her to be treated like this anymore, but the insults she received at every moment were still painful.
Catherine, who burst out laughing together, said to Rickman.
"She's a Princess. Rickman. It's natural to feel even small pain greatly."
A young man at the table grumbled at her words.
"It has been three years since the royal family was disbanded. Besides, does it make sense for her to expect someone else to treat her like a Princess after causing such great harm to her husband?"
Then the other woman next to him. joined in.
"That's right. Isn't the Blooming family completely defrauded? Lady Catherine is also too soft."
This situation continued for three years. Ash, who paid off his debts and gave up the throne, gained the support of the people again.
Most of the people's voices demanding compensation for the damage have disappeared. By all accounts, it was Winter who suffered the most damage. He disposed of most of what he had, making 24 million lacs, and the rest he used to establish himself in the Blooming family.
From the day she got married, Winter set up lodgings in the capital to resume business and only appeared in the Blooming family once every few months.
Violet, who was left behind at Blooming Street, gradually melted away and disappeared like a poisoned life. At first, she tried to join these events and even tried to smile and talk, but the response she always received was that She was treated as a shameless fraudster.
In the evening, the party began and the banquet hall was filled with luxuriously decorated nobles who loved to have fun. Throughout the party, which continued into the night, Violet leaned against the wall and waited for this tiring day to end.
"You're doing that again..."
"Lady Catherine took care to bring her, but she's completely ruining the party atmosphere."
Violet, who had been leaning against the wall the whole time, heard a whispering sound and started walking.
"Why is she walking around like that? It's annoying."
Violet stopped again.
Ignoring other people's opinions was something that could only be done if you had something to believe in. She had nowhere to run and was cutting herself off little by little to accommodate everyone's opinions, her presence ruined the party.
However, It was also true that the fall of a once-happy Princess was always an interesting story. Her presence always added excitement to the party.
Violet, who came out of the banquet hall to cool off for a moment, collapsed In her seat as her whole body hurt as if the words of others flying at her were like small stones.
Then Diev, Winter's younger brother and the only legitimate son of the Blooming family appeared and supported her.
"Violet!"
As soon as he grabbed her arm, Violet immediately pulled it away. Diev seemed to understand as he took her hand away and stroked her shortened hair.
"It suits you well, too."
"I clearly told you not to come any closer."
She was watching everyone's opinions, but she was resolute right now. But Diev pretended not to hear and said what he had to say.
"This is not the weather to go around in a dress like that. It's still cold."
"Don't worry about it."
Violet took a step back with a pale face. However, Diev soon grabbed her by the arm and then wrapped his muffler around her neck.
"Think smartly. My brother doesn't come home often anyway."
"..."
"Just one drink. Then I will be on your side."
Who would believe that Diev Blooming, the successor to the Blooming family, whom everyone believes to be a gentleman, turns out to be a lecher who is obsessed with his sister-in-law?
The moment Violet says this out loud, she might be treated as a mental patient and locked in a room. There is no one on her side in the world, but there are many on Diev's side.
"That will never happen."
Diev laughed at Violet's words and let go of her.
"You will regret it."
As soon as he let go, Violet frantically ran to the carriage. As she climbed into the carriage, she caught her breath, and belatedly hurriedly took off the muffler.
And then she looked back at the mansion with a mesmerized look on her face.
"I have to go back...."
Violet, who had the experience of disappearing midway and being scolded harshly by the Bloomings, held the door with her hand to get out of the carriage. But she couldn't get off. She felt like her body would be shattered if she went back there again.
Eventually, Violet returned home by carriage and entered her bedroom.
She threw the gorgeous diamond decoration on her head onto the bed, took out the sleeping pills she had been saving from the empty jewelry box, and poured them into her mouth.
After that, she took out some champagne from the closet and took a swig. Thinking that wasn't enough, she swallowed another handful and drank champagne again, stuffing it down her throat.
The sleeping pills Rickman made were very effective. He couldn't have used good ingredients for Violet's food. She might die much more horribly than she wanted, but she didn't care.
She didn't want to go back to the party, and she didn't want to be the target of anger for disappearing in the middle of the party. It would have been better to end her life like this.
Violet emptied the medicine cabinet and the champagne bottle and lay down on the bed. And then she spoke to the diamond sparkling before her eyes.
"So, goodbye."
Violet felt a little sad that there was no one to say a final goodbye to.
