I Changed The Villain

“That’s not difficult.”

"Thank you, Rose."

Looking at us, Beryl's hand holding the fork was shaking. Beryl called out to me in a calm tone.

“You know, my ugly little sister.”

I answered without even looking at Beryl.

"What? Why are you calling me?”

“You had calmed down a lot before I came here, right?”

“It has to be that way. You made that kid look like that.”

The maids' eyes automatically focused on Mera. Mera was wearing a sign around her neck that said, 

‘I will never fall for bribes again.’ 

She's going to wear that sign all day, that's it. This was Beryl's punishment for Mera.

"Yes. But the anger finally subsided.”

Geek. 

The fork Beryl was holding was bent. Beryl slammed his bent fork on the floor.

“It’s soaring again..?! Please stay away from me, even when I’m eating breakfast!”

“Brother, please be quiet, even when eating breakfast.”

“Rose is right, brother.”

“What brother…!”

Beryl could no longer speak and clutched his backside. If this continues, he will develop high blood pressure, which even our grandfather did not have. Beryl pointed at me with a trembling finger.

“You, you really... How could you treat me, your older brother...”

“Stop interfering and just stay out today. If you were in the same place as us, we would fight all day.”

"Then I can just stay out today."

"Yes."

Beryl was dumbfounded.

“Belial, can I stay at the Serenity family mansion today?”

Belial also nodded immediately. 

"Yes. Of course, it works. I will instruct the maid to check the guest bedroom.”

“There’s no need for that. I can just sleep in Belial’s room.”

Beryl immediately flipped over.

"No! No way…! I’m going to stay out, so you stay here!”

"Why? You said you didn't want to go out. So I said I would let you go, but what are you dissatisfied with?”

“This place is a hundred times a thousand times better than that damn mansion…! Dirt in my eyes...! No, even if a magic stone goes in, it won’t work!”

Belial was trying to take out the magic stone from his clothes.

Belial clicked his tongue. I couldn't believe it, but he brought it today too..! 

Beryl lost heart at that sight. Beryl, who realized that he could never defeat those two, spoke helplessly.

“I was planning to camp in the forest with Taksha today anyway. Just stay here.”

“Why did you ask me so much?"

“I can’t help it.”

It was supposed to be like this a long time ago. Above my head, the word 'Victory' sparkled in gold.

“I will stay at home, especially today.”

Beryl hopes his parents come back soon. For the first time in his life, Beryl made a wish and shed bloody tears.

“You look so ugly that even the devil would be punished…! In the face of love, you don’t have anything like family!”

Beryl hit his face loudly on the table. That wasn't all. He even slammed his fist on the table. Belial whispered to Rose.

“You’re being firm with your brother today."

"I can not help it. We need to get him used to our relationship quickly.”

But my vote, as I said, was not good. Belial, who was looking at that scene, smiled slightly.

"Rose."

I just rolled my eyes and Belial looked at me.

“I remembered something I had to do urgently. I think I’ll have to stay at my mansion until it gets dark.”

"Yes? But you definitely took care of all the urgent matters yesterday, so it's okay until today."

“I sometimes forget too. I think I should go now.”

With those words, Belial really stood up.

“See you later, Rose.”

Belial's lips touched my forehead and then went. It happened so quickly that I didn't even have time to say I would see him off. When Belial disappeared, Beryl slowly raised his head.

“Why is he suddenly leaving again...?” 

“He suddenly remembered something to do.”

 “Really...?”

Beryl's mood calmed down. Beryl continued to tell stories behind my back.

“Yes, there is no perfect person in the world. No matter how perfect people around you praise you, it’s useless. In the end, he is just a human being with a bad past, flaws, and a few mistakes on important days.”

It was true rather than gossip. As I grabbed Beryl’s shoulder.

"Brother."

“Why are you suddenly acting friendly? It’s unfamiliar.”

Even though Beryl said that he didn't pull away, as if he didn't like it. Beryl picked up the cup with the hand that was not being held by me.

“Well, no matter what you say, my anger won’t go away.”

“Come play with me before you go camping.”

Grumbling. 

The juice that was in Beryl's mouth poured out. Ah, right now I think it would be great to appear in a spit drama as well. I picked up the silver plate and held it on Beryl's face.

“Brother, you look so funny right now. Check your face with this.”

“You, you..."

“Answer me quickly. Are you going to play with me or not?"

Beryl snatched the silver plate from my hand.

“Of course, I don’t like it! Who would want to go out with a pumpkin like you!”

"Okay? With someone who hates me too, I don’t want to go out.”

The chair tilted and hit the floor. Even though the noise was quite loud, Beryl didn't care.

“You are a pumpkin flower, but today especially I'll go out with you. Because you are my younger sister!” 

“So don’t give me special treatment. I come prepared!”

It was rewarding for Belial to leave his place on purpose. This must have eased Beryl's feelings. At that time, Mera sullenly called out to me.

"Miss...."

“Help me get ready.  I’m in a good mood right now, so maybe you’ll forgive me too.”

"Yes."

Mera left the restaurant holding a sign that said, 'I will never fall for bribes again.' The remaining maids flocked to me.

"Miss. Where do you plan on going with him?"

“Is this a place we should follow too? It looks like you want to go out alone with the Young Lady.”

"I know. Don't you guys come along today? I have to go somewhere very important.”

“A very important place?”

"Huh."

I remembered Beryl's closet, which I had opened yesterday to look for Belial's clothes. It’s been a while since I’ve been a good younger sister.

Shall I do it? 

I ordered the maids to bring her handbags...

Okay. As the locker room curtain was pulled back, the clerk began a lively explanation.

“This is a new product that came out this month. Point color on white and black robes. I tried to find something as good as possible and brought it back. What do you think? This is the most acceptable formal attire in our store.”

Beryl, dressed in formal attire, had the face of a child who chewed meat thinking it was meat only to realize it was a stone. Is that how much you feel betrayed, brother?

I took a look at the Beryl.

“Can I change the point color to a darker red than this and order it?”

"Yes. It can be produced right away. Is there anything else you need?"

“I’d like to see some cuff buttons, too.”

“I will bring you something that will match the clothes you ordered right now.”

The clerk quickly headed to the shelves. As soon as the clerk disappeared, Beryl gritted her teeth.

“I’m going to throw you out on the street. I will definitely throw you away.”

“I just stop by here and I’ll do whatever you want.”

Beryl, already feeling betrayed, turned his head away. I continue gently comforting Beryl.

“If you don’t buy it with me now, you will have to come buy it with Mother later. Brother's dressing room was really empty.”

“Why? I have a lot of clothes!”

“What’s that much? I was really surprised when I went in to look for clothes to lend to Belial. If I'm surprised, it's really not serious. Therefore..."

Beryl raised his hand to stop me.

“...You lent that guy my clothes. What?"

I got caught. This time I turned my head.

“Why are you lending my clothes to that guy who isn’t any other guy?! You know I would be so upset if it were that guy! Are you really crazy!?"

"Sorry. But I couldn't help it, brother."

Rose said sullenly.

“As you know, there is a big height difference between me and Belial. my dress, there's no it could be fit by Belial. After all, my brother is the tallest in our family. “ had no choice but to borrow my brother’s clothes.”

“...Was size the problem?”

Isn't the problem that it's usually a dress? No, wait. Beryl paused. That guy is out of his mind, so if Rose tells him to wear it, he might actually wear it. Ah, I just imagined it. 

Beryl touched his forehead. It's been a while since they went out alone, but he doesn't want to fight. Just take a look. Because like that guy said, it was an unavoidable situation. Beryl said weakly.

“...As soon as you get home, have the maids throw away those clothes. Because it’s polluted.” 

"Okay."

The problem is that I'm too nice. It was the moment when Beryl tried to remove his frown to pretend to be angry. Even though he forgave Rose, his expression was still dark. Beryl looked at my complexion with an uneasy expression, wondering if he had done something wrong again.

“What else?”

“Well, if you tell the maids to throw away those clothes...”

I pretended to shiver.

“My brother’s dressing room, which was already desolate, will become even more desolate.”

“No, why are you talking like that?”

 “As an apology t brother, I gave you some clothes. I’ll buy you more.”

“Wow, you’re dragging it like this?”

Beryl pounded his chest with his fist as if he was really frustrated.

“You only have to buy it once, how many more clothes…”

"It’s based on my older brother’s standards. Uh... In terms of money, absolutely not. Think carefully, brother. If the maids even utter a single word, Mother would immediately storm into brother’s room.”

"..."

Beryl couldn't find anything to retort.

“Now, choose.”

I held out my hand.
