ICTV - Chapter 25

I Changed The Villain

"Okay. You’re all grown up, so you’ll figure it out.”

"hurray! thank you! Taksha, go out and sleep!”

As soon as Taksha quickly swallowed the last mouthful, Beryl grabbed him by the back and ran out of the restaurant. Charles spoke in a hushed voice.

"Sorry."

“No, it’s okay. I can’t break that guy’s stubbornness anyway.”

"That's right. Just leave him alone."

Rose naturally pulled the hotcake that Beryl had left in front of her.

“He’s unruly, but he does it when he needs to do it."

“Oh.”

“That guy just seems to hate marriage.”

Primrose asked, wondering if anything.

“Rose, do you know something??"

“No…”

Bang.

Before Rose could respond, Beryl opened the dining room door.

“And there’s no use asking Rose because she knows nothing. It doesn't exist!"

"..."

“I’m really going!”

Bang.

The door closed again. Rose said as if she wanted to see that.

“Did you hear?”

“...Obviously, I had normal prenatal education, normal birth, and normal raising, but why did the children turn out like that?”

Primrose and Charles fell into the labyrinth.

***

“Lady Pale! Here! It’s here!”

Just like at the birthday party, Judith, wearing a light blue dress, waved her hand. Rose, accompanied by her three maids, read the sign out loud.

“Mont Blanc, please."

There were only two menu items sold at this dessert shop. Coffee and Mont Blanc. However, although there are people who never come to this store, there is no one who comes only once. The taste was that great. Rose took off her gloves and pointed to an empty table.

“I want to talk to Lady Henry alone, so you can wait at a different table. You can eat Mont Blanc too.”

The three maids who glanced at Mont Blanc cheered.

“Is that okay, Lady...?!”

“I want two!”

“You said you were losing weight.”

“Shhh if your life is precious!”

Rose left the maids behind and sat down across from Judith. Judith immediately called the clerk.

“Two Mont Blancs and two cups of coffee, please."

The clerk nodded and walked away. Judith did the calyx.

“It’s not a bad idea for younger sisters with naughty older brothers to get together, right?”

“That’s not the Lady’s real purpose.”

“That’s right. I called you because I wanted to get information about Beryl.”

As soon as she pronounced the name Beryl, Judith's eyes became misty.

“Lady Pale. You don’t hate me, right?"

“...Yes, I don’t hate you.”

“Then what do you think about me developing a deep relationship with Beryl?"

"..."

Rose looked at Judith carefully. Still as neat as a fairy. And the strong background of the Henry family, along with a naive yet bold personality. Rose imagined Judith and Beryl standing side by side. In Rose's imagination, Beryl was looking at Judith instead of herself.

Rose is nodded like a dog.

Certainly, focusing too much on myself is also a problem. My parents are worried too much, and I am the type of person who would not be surprised if I die at any time.

Rose said.

“I don’t think it’s bad.”

“Aaaah! I was recognized by Lady Pale!”

“...Isn’t my brother’s approval more important than my approval?”

"That's true, but I can't help but be happy. How much money does Beryl have?"

“Because I know how much you care about Lady.”

Mont Blanc and coffee came out. Judith drove all the Mont Blanc to Rose.

“Young lady, since you acknowledge me, can you help me just a little bit?”

“Are you asking me to arrange a meeting with my brother? I’m sorry, but I think that would be impossible.”

Judith whined.

"No. I don’t want to ask for such a rude request.”

“Then I’m glad.”

Rose, relieved, immediately picked up her fork.

“All you have to do is tell me what Beryl likes and dislikes. I don’t want anything more than that.”

“You mean to give you information.”

Judith cocked her head to the side.

“To my shame, I don’t know anything about my brother, Beryl.”

“There is no shame in that at all. For someone who is in love, it is not only embarrassing but also a feeling of self-destruction. Please do me a favor, My Lady.”

Rose still didn't understand but nodded.

“Okay, basic information.."

"Thank you. But you don’t have to tell me this one thing.”

"What?"

I became as serious as Judith played the harp.

“The information is that Beryl is perfect.”

"..."

“Because I already know it too well.”

Wow, I really hate it. Rose was disgusted, but Judith was still serious.

“Okay then, let’s get started, Young Lady. Get ready."

It's done."

"...Ah yes."

Judith had a quill, ink, and parchment. Arranged in a row. First, Rose told her what Ber liked.

“Besides the bow and the forest, there are also many animals he likes. He has never hit an animal with an arrow.”

"Somehow. Beryl has never participated in a hunting competition held by the imperial family. If he has that level of skill, he should definitely be in the top ranks.”

“And he cares very much about the child named Taksha who helps him train.”

“You seem to like children too. Be homely."

Judith carefully transcribed Rose's words. The used parchment piled up next to Judith, but her

The face was full of worry.

“I don’t know how to approach Beryl. I can't even go to the forest without my brother, Kedis. Even if I take an escort driver, it's no use. I must definitely take Kedis with me.”

“It seems like the elders in the house are very overprotective.”

“Yes. Sometimes it’s frustrating.”

Judith moved her fingers, which had become sore from writing, here and there, then lifted her teacup.

“You can drink coffee here anytime.."

Judith's face relaxed. The coffee was half-cooled, but it still smelled good. I feel energized again. Judith took another sip of her coffee.

“Now that I think about it, My Lady, how did you become lovers with Duke Serenity?”

“Me and Belial?”

"Yes. Duke Serenity is just as cool as Beryl.”

Hmm, would the expression “beautiful” be more appropriate for him than “cool”? Judith thought of Belial with his lovely silver hair.

“The ladies of the social world all liked him, but they were equally afraid of him. The Duke is the one who climbed the blood-soaked stairs to his current position.”

"..."

“I’m so curious. How did you two become lovers?”

The stairs were soaked in blood. Rose looked down at her hair. Belial now praises Rose's hair as beautiful as a rose, but when they first met.

“We met at a party.”

He whispered that it was red like blood. Rose brushed her hair and recalled that time.

***

Everyone dreams of fateful love at least once. The same was true for the man and woman standing right in front of Rose.

“Young lady. Would you like to dance a song with me?”

“Oh my… I am grateful.”

Wow.

Rose stared ahead, her plump lips chewing the olives like popcorn. Young Masters, who looked like a doll, and Young Lady, who was even more like a doll, were looking at each other with love in their eyes. Rose chewed Olive one more.

"What's your name?"

“Hehe, I’ll tell you about that after the dance.”

In typical romantic fantasies, the party hall was an important place for the female leads to solidify their position and show that they had one personality. But who is Rose? She was a person who couldn't even be bothered to breathe. I came to Rose thinking it was just one of the tourist courses. I had to find Belial anyway.

Rose suddenly had an empty olive bowl. I stammered and raised my head. As expected

There was no one around her.

"..."

Until a little while ago, there were several ladies around Rose. The ladies were busy fluttering their fans and laughing at Rose.

‘Pale family? Was there a family like that?'

‘Look at the dress. I guess you've been stuck at home so much that you don't know what's trending.'

‘Don’t be so explicit. I feel sorry for Miss Rose.'

However, when Rose did not show the desired response, they huffed and ran away somewhere. Rose was also disappointing as well.

"...Not funny."

I'm a fool for wanting a fresh development in a romantic fantasy filled with clichés. Rose stood up.

“And Belial doesn’t even have a nose in sight.”

There were few parties that the Pale family could participate in, and among those few parties, this is the party in which Belial participated.

Finding him was as difficult as finding a needle on a sandy beach. The only answer was to simply receive an invitation and participate.

Rose tried to pick up more olives but stopped. It was a hundred times better to lie down at home in comfortable clothes than to eat while wearing an uncomfortable dress and high heels.

“Let’s just go home.”

I'll find Belial next time. Rose gave up completely and trudged out of the party. As soon as you step out the door, the dark rose bushes are the best.

It caught my eye first. This party hall was built by the host in the middle of the garden for today's party.

“It’s perfect for the tastes of nobles who enjoy secret relationships.”

Rose stretched out her hand and touched the rose flower. But strangely, the rose petals were damp.

"What?"

Rose looked at her fingers. There was an unknown liquid on my finger. Rose narrowed her eyes. Thanks to the soft light pouring in from the party scene, Rose was able to determine the identity of the liquid.

I found out right away.

“… Blooe."

It's clear that it was just buried. Rose continued to look at the blood. Heat slowly returned to Rose's cold body.

"I'm sorry, Duke."

“There is no need to be sorry.”

A soft voice came from beyond the bushes. Rose ran in that direction without realizing it.

“Anyway, has the situation been resolved?"

“Well, one, two, three, four... .”

The voices got closer and closer. As she hurried her steps even further. But then a pitch-black figure jumped out in front of me.

“Damn, that thing is a real monster… !”

“Oh, now there are five.”

Crack.

It collapsed with the sound of something being hit. Rose's feet stopped. It was none other than a person. Dressed entirely in black from head to toe.

“We’ll take care of the cleanup, so you should go back to the party...”

“That’s it. It’s not worth going back.”

“Did you have no fun at this party?”

"Well. There was an interesting Young Lady place."

Rose lifted her head from the corpse as if fascinated. A silver light poured down that was incomparable to the lights at the party. It was neither the moon nor fire that poured out that light. Like Rose, he was just a person standing with both feet on the ground.

“You happen to be over there.”
