Kanna looked at Alessandro's face.

"Can you cover it up?"

Alessandro stood up. 

"Is the business finished?"

That was the end. Alessandro left the room without saying hello or receiving anything. Kanna stared blankly at his back

'Why aren't you asking anything? I have prepared words to persuade you of various things...!'

Her father didn't ask anything. The reason for the request and future plans.

'What on earth is he thinking?'

A month has passed. The sailors, who consumed balanced nutritious food and rich vitamin C selected by Kanna, became healthier day by day and are now able to have normal conversations.

'It was really hard. In Korea, this can be solved with a few vitamin injections."

"Would you like some tea?"

"Yes, thank you.'

The maid came over and held out a teacup. Kanna lifted her glass and took a sip. But Sylvien did not drink. He just watches her move around as if he is seeing something new about her. 

'Why do you look at me like that?'

Kanna, embarrassed, put down her teacup.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

Sylvien raised the corners of his mouth as he looked at her. He just raised the corners of his mouth.

"I heard that the sailors' health has improved."

"Yes. This is thanks to the therapists' active help. You have too much humility."

At some point when the formal conversation continued, he got to the point.

"I will return to the capital tomorrow."

"I see. I'm here to help the crew a little more..."

"No. Miss Kanna must go with me."

'Should I go too?'

She tilted her head and Sylvien laughed. 

"Miss Kanna, you must be familiar with the judge."

"Then I'm glad it doesn't seem unfamiliar. I think Miss Kanna will have to be a witness."

"A witness?"

"Yes."

Sylvien leaned comfortably on the back of the sofa. At that moment, Kanna clearly saw fatigue coming out of his eyes.

"What happened last time became public."

Kanna clenched her fists. The Empress has finally put all the puzzle pieces together!

"A trial will be held under the leadership of Her Majesty the Empress. As you know, I am guilty of attempted assassination of the royal family. And for Prince Cassil..."

"Yes. I know."

Suddenly, the hand he was trying to cut seemed to feel a sharp pain. Kanna asked with a calm face.

"But how did Her Majesty find out about that?" 

"Well..."

Sylvien also stared at her intently, as if he was genuinely curious. His eyes were persistent as if trying to grab a ray of her light beyond the black veil.

"It was going to be revealed someday anyway. It was impossible to hide it because Doctor Isaac did something like that."

"..."

"Don't worry. You don't need to prepare anything. The trial will go smoothly."

"Easy?" 

"Yes."

'I see... It's easy.' 

Kanna lowered her gaze.
